Storefront (March 2025)

My family and I were here in the neighborhood back in March. I was checking out markets nearby and saw that this market had Julian's pies and decided to make a pit stop. This charming little family owned and operated market is located off of Coast Highway, between Jupiter Street and Jason Street. There is a colorful mural that you can't miss. The parking lot in front is small, but being around 3:00pm on a quiet Saturday, there were a few spots open so we were able to park right away. For a such a small market, it was pretty well stocked. Fresh flower arrangements, fruits and vegetables, and a wide variety of pantry items, local and international...not a lot of big brands, but rather minor and local brands that I that I haven't seen elsewhere. I was sad that there were no Julian pies (seasonal?), but they had one blueberry pie left from Ramona so we got that, and some pantry items and fruit. The pie was about $27 and delicious! Staff were friendly and helpful, too. Not sure if I'll ever come back here since I'm not local, but it does seem to be a favorite neighborhood store.

Such a cute little spot!

Stopped in the Just Peachy Market for a few drinks and fresh fruits on the way to San Diego. The market is so cute with a fresh fruit stand out front. The cashier working was so friendly and welcoming! They have fresh vegetables and fruits inside along with other specialty items. They also have dairy and drinks. Think of a gas station meets farmers market. It was clean inside and the fruits we got were so fresh and sweet! It was a great stop!!

What an awesome store! Was just leaving Moonlight beach and saw this cool store on the way back home and just had to stop. So many local fruits and veggies that I just had to load up. Lots of employees throughout the store offering to help with any questions. For sure will be back as the prices here weren't as much as a Farmer's Market.

truck parked in front of the store - Market sign for Just Peachy Farm Fresh, offering fruits and vegetables, with a vehicle parked in front and a blue sky overhead.

My family and I love this place. It's a family owned convenience store/produce stand in Encinitas. I love the produce options and this is actually what drew me in. Every time we stop in, we end up with a box of produce and goodies. The store carries the Isabella brand of cookies which are amazingly delicious and addicting. They are usually displayed by the register and it's not uncommon for them to sell out. The customer service is awesome with employees always willing to answer questions or help out.

This little neighborhood market might be the best place for produce in all of North County. It's all local fruits and veggies and every time I've loaded up I've been so impressed with the quality of everything. They've got top shelf apples, and I always end up eating about a weeks recommended dosage before I even arrive home. It's a small little store so you're not going to find everything on your grocery list here, but if you're in the Leucadia area and have a hankerin for something that will make you feel like a million bucks, I'd highly recommend stopping in for a snack. They're also usually stocked with an assortment of Julian pies so if healthy stuff isn't exactly your thing you can consume them in pie form. The cashiers have always been super friendly and talkative at checkout which is an experience you won't really get at Sprouts. All features taken into account and Just Peachy is a pretty appropriate title for this place.

Unfortunately we live in Carlsbad so when Barons opens, LA will be a distant memory. Good place to shop for organic and fresh food. I will say one more time the produce is very fresh. I get that at the time they were having issues with the water station, but that was NO excuse. Today, I was interested in there pre- made jarred juice Anne saw a member bringing out fresh ones. I asked if she was bringing out more of a specific one, that wasn't available and she said no, as that wasn't very popular. She did however, state that she could make one for me. I was impressed and waiting while she went back to the counter. There were a few other employees at the juice bar as well a few fold in line, so I knew it would be awhile. So I waited and watched the line disappear, and waited some more. Eventually, I looked up to not even see the girl that was " suppose" to be helping me at the counter anymore. In disbelief, I just went to ring up my other items in my cart. I get if you don't want to make something, but please don't lie and have a customer waiting for something that you NEVER intended to make. Truly disappointed.

Wyatt got a KOREAN CRACK sandwich (grilled trip tip, Korean BBQ sauce, smoked cheddar, kimchi, and crispy fried onions) on a brioche burger bun. I ordered a WHISKEY CRACK (grilled trip tip, whiskey-peppercorn sauce, blue cheese, pickled onions, and arugula) on a ciabatta roll. as is our habit, we traded half a sandwich for half a sandwich. both were amazing. a couple of days later, the wife-unit and I were headed to Solana Beach from Carlsbad, and stopped in Cardiff at SEASIDE MARKET. the sandwich we shared was not as good as the one Wyatt and I shared. instead of a dense, chewy ciabatta roll, this time the sandwich was served on a squishy, wonder bread roll. major downgrade. anyway, pretty darn amazing and totally worth an occasional drive down the coast. plus, you gotta love the view.

I am not sure what I was expecting (maybe like a grocery store refrigerated and freezer section,) but I was surprised at how it was laid out. It was three aisles of the lower banks of freezers, with full wall freezer along two walls, and a few dry goods which makes sense because everything that they have is frozen at ideally the peak of freshness. It was very clean, looked a bit futuristic and was well coded. With different color signage to indicate where the poultry, beef, pork, seafood and prepared foods were. Easy to head to the section you were looking for. We looked around the store a lot and the folks who work there were very attentive. They asked us a number of times if we needed any help, answered any questions that we had, and even gave us some suggestions and background on certain cuts. We ended up going with some picanha, a couple other types of steaks, and a couple options of seafood. All the pricing was all very reasonable and now we have a fully stocked freezer.
