I frequent this shopping center often and I love coming to this market. It's always very clean and well organized. The staff are very friendly, helpful and professional. From the produce section to the meat department, everything is well stocked. The restrooms in the back of the store (dairy products area) is always clean. They have certain items that we like that other local markets don't carry. So we'll definitely continue being regulars for that reason.

I really like this Ralphs. It's one of the largest Kroger brand markets I've ever shopped. The aisles are wide, the shelves are well stocked, the store is clean and neat, and the associates are helpful. Produce Departmentv is located in the center of the store rather than on one of the sides. Its major shortcomings are too few checkouts for the store size -- e.g., only six self checkouts, and one was inoperable on our last visit -- and the shopping center parking lot. Overall, though, I like shopping here when I'm in Encinitas

I love getting sushi here because there's monthly specials and Esther behind the sushi counter is so nice!

Yesterday I biked from Mission Valley To Encinitas for my mom's 58th birthday she didn't know I was coming and I surprised her. On my way there I stopped into Ralph's really quickly and I just wanted to thank Troy for watching over my road bike while I ran in to make a quick purchase. He didn't have to take five minutes of his day to do this for me but I really appreciated it! Hope his manager sees this :) we need more random acts of kindness! (Also appreciated that he was wiping down all the carts #CovidApproved location here) - @neeks93 on insta! NBC Titan Games Semifinalist

When I approached the water station it was closed but rather then kindly let me know, you just laugh?! Like seriously?! I get that at the time they were having issues with the water station, but that was NO excuse. Today, I was interested in there pre- made jarred juice Anne saw a member bringing out fresh ones. I asked if she was bringing out more of a specific one, that wasn't available and she said no, as that wasn't very popular. She did however, state that she could make one for me. I was impressed and waiting while she went back to the counter. There were a few other employees at the juice bar as well a few fold in line, so I knew it would be awhile. So I waited and watched the line disappear, and waited some more. Eventually, I looked up to not even see the girl that was " suppose" to be helping me at the counter anymore. In disbelief, I just went to ring up my other items in my cart. I get if you don't want to make something, but please don't lie and have a customer waiting for something that you NEVER intended to make. Truly disappointed.

Wyatt got a KOREAN CRACK sandwich (grilled trip tip, Korean BBQ sauce, smoked cheddar, kimchi, and crispy fried onions) on a brioche burger bun. I ordered a WHISKEY CRACK (grilled trip tip, whiskey-peppercorn sauce, blue cheese, pickled onions, and arugula) on a ciabatta roll. as is our habit, we traded half a sandwich for half a sandwich. both were amazing. a couple of days later, the wife-unit and I were headed to Solana Beach from Carlsbad, and stopped in Cardiff at SEASIDE MARKET. the sandwich we shared was not as good as the one Wyatt and I shared. instead of a dense, chewy ciabatta roll, this time the sandwich was served on a squishy, wonder bread roll. major downgrade. anyway, pretty darn amazing and totally worth an occasional drive down the coast. plus, you gotta love the view.

I am not sure what I was expecting (maybe like a grocery store refrigerated and freezer section,) but I was surprised at how it was laid out. It was three aisles of the lower banks of freezers, with full wall freezer along two walls, and a few dry goods which makes sense because everything that they have is frozen at ideally the peak of freshness. It was very clean, looked a bit futuristic and was well coded. With different color signage to indicate where the poultry, beef, pork, seafood and prepared foods were. Easy to head to the section you were looking for. We looked around the store a lot and the folks who work there were very attentive. They asked us a number of times if we needed any help, answered any questions that we had, and even gave us some suggestions and background on certain cuts. We ended up going with some picanha, a couple other types of steaks, and a couple options of seafood. All the pricing was all very reasonable and now we have a fully stocked freezer.
