It's my goal to go to all the Grocery Outlets in the world and so far, this one might be my favorite. The aisles were so big! Usually I'm dodging and weaving in and out of the aisles at other locations, but this one, you could skip, roll, hop, jump and still have room for 2-3 carts. Well lit, super organized, lots of people working the floors, you can't go to far without finding someone to help. I needed help finding a very specific product that they don't carry many of and everyone was on the radio trying to help. Feels like they had good rapport with each other. Parking lot was huge. It shares the lot with a bunch of other businesses and banks. Like most Grocery Outlets, the meat and the produce aren't vast but the items on the shelves were pretty great. Happy I came here.

I enjoy shopping for groceries at Grocery Outlet. The store is clean and always well stocked and the staff friendly and helpful.. Prices are great and you can also find deals via their mail and online advertisement's. I appreciate the fact that the owners really care about the community, their store and their employees. Its reflected in their customer experience and it always brings me back.

BEWARE, Do not buy fish from here! This is the second time I buy wild rockfish to make ceviche when I open the package it has an odor. I decided to marinate it for 12 hours with lime. On both times I'm ready to combine the veggies and it is BAD! I called management and he said there's nothing they can do. I suggested that maybe they should correct their labels. Both times fish was labeled that it had a 4 more days before I should use it by. Clearly not the truth!

I was super disappointed when the 99 cents only store closed and didn't know what would replace it. It was a pleasant surprise to come in to this market as I had never been to a grocery outlet store before. The produce section is nice and clean and easy to find items that you need. I saw many brands that I wasn't familiar with but that means I have new things/brands to try. I got Kit Kat Lemon Crisp for my husband. I had never seen this flavor before. He loved it! I purchased pastrami which was really good and I will definitely go back for that. All the produce I purchased was fresh and delicious. This is not close enough to come weekly but when in the area, I will definitely come by.

Brand new Grocery Outlet in Encinitas. I saw the grand opening was on Thursday but I missed it and went yesterday. Still got a couple nice reusable shopping bags as gifts. The store is spacious and clean (of course it is new) and the staff is super friendly. I noticed that the prices are more expensive for the same items that I buy at the GO of Mira Mesa, so I won't do the trip to Encinitas just to go to this store. I got several bottles of Spanish wine very well priced as well as cheese. I did not find some of the things that I get at other GOs and felt more aseptic. I found Anaïs Anaïs, the perfume of my childhood in Europe, always a sweet find.

Neatly well stocked shelves

The 99 cent store that was previously there served the community very well, but glad to see GO move there.

Unfortunately we live in Carlsbad so when Barons opens, LA will be a distant memory. Good place to shop for organic and fresh food. I will say one more time the produce is very fresh. When I approached the water station it was closed but rather then kindly let me know, you just laugh?! Like seriously?! I get that at the time they were having issues with the water station, but that was NO excuse. Today, I was interested in there pre- made jarred juice Anne saw a member bringing out fresh ones. I asked if she was bringing out more of a specific one, that wasn't available and she said no, as that wasn't very popular. She did however, state that she could make one for me. I was impressed and waiting while she went back to the counter. There were a few other employees at the juice bar as well a few fold in line, so I knew it would be awhile. So I waited and watched the line disappear, and waited some more. Eventually, I looked up to not even see the girl that was " suppose" to be helping me at the counter anymore. In disbelief, I just went to ring up my other items in my cart. I get if you don't want to make something, but please don't lie and have a customer waiting for something that you NEVER intended to make. Truly disappointed.

Wyatt got a KOREAN CRACK sandwich (grilled trip tip, Korean BBQ sauce, smoked cheddar, kimchi, and crispy fried onions) on a brioche burger bun. I ordered a WHISKEY CRACK (grilled trip tip, whiskey-peppercorn sauce, blue cheese, pickled onions, and arugula) on a ciabatta roll. as is our habit, we traded half a sandwich for half a sandwich. both were amazing. a couple of days later, the wife-unit and I were headed to Solana Beach from Carlsbad, and stopped in Cardiff at SEASIDE MARKET. the sandwich we shared was not as good as the one Wyatt and I shared. instead of a dense, chewy ciabatta roll, this time the sandwich was served on a squishy, wonder bread roll. major downgrade. anyway, pretty darn amazing and totally worth an occasional drive down the coast. plus, you gotta love the view.

From sandwiches, to deli meat and of course their butcher shop and marinated meats selection. This is the home of the famous "Cardiff Crack," aka burgundy pepper tri-tip. You may have had it before at a friend or family BBQ, on some local area restaurants in sandwich, or in the famous Tri-Tip Nachos at Petco Park while cheering on the Padres. I love checking out all of the items they have available, and always have to grab at least a pound of the crack. This last time I picked up the Spicy Chipotle BBQ tri-tip as well. So good. If you are just visiting, you can grab a sandwich made with the tri-tip.

I am not sure what I was expecting (maybe like a grocery store refrigerated and freezer section,) but I was surprised at how it was laid out. It was three aisles of the lower banks of freezers, with full wall freezer along two walls, and a few dry goods which makes sense because everything that they have is frozen at ideally the peak of freshness. It was very clean, looked a bit futuristic and was well coded. With different color signage to indicate where the poultry, beef, pork, seafood and prepared foods were. Easy to head to the section you were looking for. We looked around the store a lot and the folks who work there were very attentive. They asked us a number of times if we needed any help, answered any questions that we had, and even gave us some suggestions and background on certain cuts. We ended up going with some picanha, a couple other types of steaks, and a couple options of seafood. All the pricing was all very reasonable and now we have a fully stocked freezer.

The market appeals to shoppers who value freshness, thoughtful sourcing and convenience. There is a huge selected range of fresh produce, including organic and seasonal fruits and vegetables. The meat and seafood department -- my favorite department -- is a standout, offering high-quality cuts of beef, chicken and pork, along with fresh and sushi-grade seafood. The deli and prepared foods section is phenomenal! And it's full service. They have Boar's Head meats and a wide assortment of cheeses, along with house-made salads, sandwiches and ready-to-eat meals. Beyond the fresh departments, Harvest carries a thoughtful mix of pantry staples and other products. Shoppers can find specialty oils and vinegars, unique seasonings, sauces, olives and chocolates. The wine selection excellent as well. The overall shopping experience is clean, friendly and personal, and the staff are generally very helpful and knowledgeable.
