We have used 606 movers twice for local moves. Communication was great with scheduling our moves. We had to change dates due to elevator use and Ana easily accommodated the request. I had a scheduled appointment yesterday between 2:00-3:00 and they called and said they would be able to make it earlier. Three movers arrived at 12:45 and they were careful, yet quick with packing what needed to be packed and loading everything into the truck. They were just as careful with the unloading and moving of my items. Cost was very reasonable. I would definitely use them again, and would recommend them to anyone looking for movers. read more

Our experience with 606 Movers was overall positive despite some setbacks. Moving day started on a bit of a rough note when Ana called at 8am to inform us that one of the three movers had called out sick and could not be replaced in time for our 9am job. She gave us the 2-person rate, but the work ended up taking a lot longer than quoted and the final cost was about 50% higher than the high end of our original estimate. Ana made it right at the end of the day, which we really appreciated. She also stopped by halfway through the day to check in and see how we were doing and to provide lunch for her workers. Ana clearly cares about making customers happy and taking care of her employees. I would have given 5 stars if the longer than expected job hadn't caused an issue for our unpacking plans and timing. My recommendation would be for 606 to have additional workers on reserve, but I know it's easier said than done. read more

These guys are great! I wish I used them for my big move a few months ago. I bought a large heavy piece of equipment (450 lb and about the size of a fridge) and these guys moved it from my exterior garage down to my basement. They showed up within the timeframe specified and introduced themselves (very professional), assessed how they would move it and got it done. I can not recommend them enough. They were inexpensive, quick and moved things I was planning on moving myself. ALL of my furniture has glass tops and the movers handled it without issue. They even offered to take random pillows, weights and other things I couldn't figure out how to pack in boxes. Besides that, I accidentally had some items labeled for our third floor that should've been on the second floor. When I let the movers know about this mixup, I said I could handle it and they refused and did it themselves. And could not have been nicer about the whole thing. And not that it matters because I care more about the job getting done but they were SO reasonably priced. I was expecting it to be at least $200 more than I paid. LOVED them! read more

Don't bother to fill out the questionnaire they provide online. I filled it out and left a detailed description of what I was moving and what I needed. Because of the good reviews, I was eager to hear from them and really wanted them to be my movers. They responded all right, a few days later, with a form letter that informed me that they use moving pads. Whoop-de-doo. What mover doesn't? The message contained absolutely no information that pertained to the specifics of my move. I still have NO IDEA of what they would have charged to move my stuff. Moved out on 5/1/20. From the booking process to move out procedures, this company is very friendly and professional. Ana arranged my move out date by sending me a quote, estimate of arrival, and the terms of service online, which was a breeze! The movers were prompt, ensured all of my items were moved safely. They disassembled and wrapped my furniture, had wardrobe boxes to help me pack my clothes and also moved my 60 inch TV in its own box. Since I moved out in the midst of COVID-19, I have to note they wore protective masks as well. Their rate is hard to beat for the quality of service. You won't be disappointed! read more

If I could give 6 stars, I would. was super, super anxious about my move because the last time I moved, the movers just never showed up and couldn't reschedule for weeks, so I was almost homeless for a bit. June 2021, Move was from 2nd floor row-house 2bd apt to self-storage unit. Ana and Rafa's 3-person crew were amazing! 15-mile move, 1.5 flights of stairs, took 4 hours, usual furniture plus about 50 boxes, and on a Sunday. Initial delay in starting time, but good communication via email and text. I appreciated how they took care of my arm chairs and other furniture, wrapping everything in plastic and tape. They put all the stuff that was not in boxes (big toys, etc) in sturdy wardrobe boxes which I kept. Way better than my last move. They were respectful with my stuff and each other, good attitude, very experienced, I really appreciate that! I was very disappointed with my experience with 606 movers. I chose them because of their amazing reviews, however my experience was terrible. It took the movers 8 1/2 hours to move from my 3 bedroom place to a new place just 1 block down. This is without moving any beds as I left some furniture to stage my old house for sale. We drove down from San Diego and thought we would call some friends to help unload a 20ft Uhaul truck, and once we arrived we thought again! So happy to give 606 movers a call and they had immediate availability! Jose and his crew were incredibly gentle and efficient with all our our stuff. It took them only 1.5 hours and everything was inside our 1st floor apartment (staircase included). Not to mention we had a 300lb jukebox, that they practically finger lifted in our place. They thoughtfully loaded the truck to unload to the uhaul first and then the storage unit which made everything run very smoothly. I used their online quote system, had an initial conversation with Ana, the president, who is very nice, and then received a call prior to the move from another very friendly employee, Angelica, who reviewed the specifics with me. The organized and friendly way they run their business generates a lot of confidence in the customer. On moving day, the 3 movers - Jose, and his team, Felipe and Fili, arrived 15 minutes early, calling ahead to let me know they were on their way. Jose and his team did an awesome job! Quick, friendly, and professional, they made the whole process super easy and low stress. It was a short distance move to begin with, but they managed to knock it out in two hours flat! What a wonderful experience from start to finish! I'll never use any other mover again. I received a great quote after entering my belongings into a quick and easy online form. They called me the next day and I was booked. I only ended up getting charged for the time the move actually took (after I exceeded the minimum move time) so I ended up paying even less than I was quoted.
