My confidence in this company was immediately affirmed with Ms Ana's professional and detailed response to my requests and needs. She was quick in responding and adjusting her services to what I really needed. Ana was consistent with her quote and I had no surprises. Their fees were very clear without much confusion of add-ons here and there or little hidden costs. I paid for what I expected to pay and for what I exactly needed. I was drawn to 606 Movers because of their goal "to do everything we can to minimize the amount of waste we produce," and I'm very happy with my decision to use them for my move. Ana was very responsive and made sure I had everything I needed for the move. I've used movers in the past and have never had my items handle with as much care. The team (Jose, Fernando, and Juan C.) were outstanding. These guys worked fast, but took the time to wrap all of my furniture with shrink wrap and moving pads. They made sure the furniture was placed correctly before leaving. They included wardrobe boxes at no cost for the hanging clothes - this was great because you can keep your clothes on the hangers & they reuse the boxes. Like for many people, moving has always been a very stressful and daunting process for me. However, I moved 7/2/20 and used 606 Movers and it was such a wonderful experience. All I had to do was filled out a very clear assessment form about how much stuff I needed moved. Ana responded quickly by providing an estimate, terms of service, and the movers' arrival time. On the day of my move the movers arrived on time, and were all very cautious about COVID, wearing protective masks and using hand sanitizer frequently. All the guys worked incredibly hard having to move all of my heavy furniture up from a basement. They were careful with all of my things, even wrapping and protecting furniture, while being so incredibly friendly. PHENOMENAL service!!! I was a bit skeptical because this company had so many 5 star reviews but now I understand the hype!! We had to do an emergency move in the city and needed to schedule a move in 2 days and I called this company up and they fit me in. The guys who came were impressive. They were hoisting 5 boxes on their backs up two flights of stairs. They made our move less stressful and helped moving our furniture exactly where we needed. They showed up promptly on time in the AM and wrapped our items perfectly without damaging anything. We had a few grumpy neighbors giving our movers a hard time due to limited parking and Daniel said "no worries those people are just having a bad day and taking it out in others" such a nice thing to say with a hard day of moving!! I just moved with them yesterday and I have to say it was one of the best moves I've had in years. The crew arrived promptly and went over all the details of the billing, asked if i had any questions and go straight to work. The company overestimated which makes sense considering that at the end of the day you pay for what it actually takes so I appreciated it. The movers came in wrapped my furniture in moving pads and zoomed over to my new place in no time. Oh and although i wasn't as packed as i planned on being, they reassured me they could take care of the rest and in retrospect i probably didn't to need to be as nervous as i was about the process. Well now I'm rambling but i guess what i'm really trying to say is thank you to 606 Movers for a job well done. I had an amazing experience with 606 Movers. This was my first big move and it was a total breeze. Movers arrived early on the day of the move and got everything completely moved over into my new place within just 2 hours (keep in mind, I did not move very far)! Everything arrived in perfect condition and was placed exactly where I asked. I was also so happy with the free wardrobe boxes that they offer. They fit so many extraneous items and small pieces of furniture in them in addition to all of my hanging clothes. My final total ended up being just a little over half of what I was quoted! My wife and I are glad that we chose 606 Movers to help us with our move within the city limit. Although there are other good moving companies in the city but the 606 is the best. We are glad that we could support a woman owned business, specially during this pandemic time. The estimate was accurate, there was no hidden fees, the timing was accurate (although our high rise building has some issues with the elevator reservation) they wrapped our large items perfectly and the list goes on. They were super punctual, courteous, all were diligent about keeping their masks properly on (especially important to me as I'm pregnant), incredibly efficient with all kinds of tricks to make the move speedier (which saves me money!), took very good care of our things, and we're just friendly nice guys. They made what was a very stressful thing in my mind into an easy breezy no big deal thing. I created an account just to write this review. I was lucky enough to have Manuel, Milton and William move my condo to storage on a rainy day back in October. These guys were FAST! They took good care of my items and managed the three flights of stairs like the real pros they are. They were also kind, warm, and understanding of my somewhat disorganized stuff. We were accosted by a Karen in the alley behind my building and these guys stayed cool, calm and collected, and went about their business, despite Karen's shenanigans. Okay, I don't usually do this but wow! I rarely move and when I do, I usually do it myself. NEVER AGAIN! It's been cold, weather is always unpredictable, and I just didn't want to go through the trouble this time around. Their office staff was super helpful over the phone, provided clear and concise information, and prompt customer service. The guys were prepared on the day of, quickly moving me out of a 2 bedroom with ease. The movers were really polite and considerate, clearly experts at what they do. I can't stand moving. It's the worst thing out there. This move I had actually was a nightmare due to things 606 couldn't control, but they were the best part of it. They were on time, they communicated efficiently, they stopped the time in between elevator reservations (because the departing elevator was a much different time than the receiving elevator - moving to/from high rises in Chicago). They wrapped everything up so well! Nothing damaged and all of them were the nicest, most caring individuals. 606 Movers was a life savor. Superman in disguise! This past September I was offered a job in California and had to be out of my apartment ASAP to start the 1st of October. I was in panic mode because I had no idea what to do with my things. I called 606 movers and Ana, the owner, was able to put me at ease and took care of everything. These are the hardest working guys I've ever seen in my entire life. Our move took TEN hours and Manuel, Milton, and Oracio never complained and somehow kept a really positive attitude the whole time. They're extremely careful with everything. They're punctual. Fixed with them the moving day and time, was waiting for the workers to arrive, 45 minutes passed by and no one shows up and finally i gave them a call after waiting for some more time. No answer to the call and text. 3 hours later i receive a text that their workers were busy with another order and can do my moving the next day. I decided to opt out of the decision to deal with them. Jesus and his team did an incredible job with the move. They worked faster than the estimate and worked way faster than I thought possible. Great value for money. Excellent care for delicate items and they got creative to get everything out of our old place (even lowering mattresses down from the third floor of a town house). Setting up the estimate, and initial call with 606 Movers was a breeze. Day of the move Jesus, Roberto, Carlos and Rafael were amazing, they moved out a 2BR unit with queen mattresses and bed frames, large dressers, a metal couch, large TV stand and tons of boxes effortlessly, and very quick as well.
