Just right there I can drop the mic. One bite is good but an entire pint is even better!!! There is no will power at 3rd Coast, so leave that mentality for another day / place. Food is delicious!! Prices are reasonable, service is fast and efficient. Came here for quick lunch one day based on all the great reviews and it sure didn't disappoint. Small parking lot in the front of the restaurant. Ordered at the window and then grabbed a seat in the outdoor patio dining area. Really like the outdoor area: nice and clean and organized. I didn't have to wait too long to get my food. Ordered the brisket sandwich a la carte $11, and half rack of ribs $14. Both were meaty and very tasty. This is bbq done right! After repeated disappoint in my usual bbq places I decided to give 3rd coast a try! Wowsa! Def my new favorite! The brisket was super tender and cooked to perfection. The ribs are fantastic too! I have driven by this place countless times and I finally got the courage to try it. I had the "wet" brisket, boudin link, and smoked collards. The brisket pulled apart with my fork and had great flavor. The boudin had a nice little kick and the smoked collards were delicious. Their menu changes seasonally so there is a lot to try. Amazingly Delicious. My wife picked up a sampling for my birthday. WOW! The brisket was the best I've had in current memory. The ribs were done just the way I like, and had a subtle sweetness to the glaze. The boudain was smokey and had a spicy kick that stayed with you for just the right amount of time. Heard about 3rd Coast recently, so I stopped by today even though I wasn't very hungry. Glad I did! 3rd Coast has "it" when it comes to Texas BBQ!their moist brisket was everything Texas bbq should be and their jalapeño cheddar sausage was a great blend of taste and spice. The only side I ordered was their Cajun slaw, a vinegar based slaw that had a solid spicy kick. Super tasty, IMO! They also had Otto bottled sodas and a wide range of adult beverages. This was my first time at 3rd Coast. I've heard some great things about them. First off the ribs were fall off the bone good I really like the flavor. I also had the smoked sausage and the brisket. All the meats were good the chipotle coleslaw was okay. The layout for the seating is cool as well as long as the weather is good. Service was okay. Nice enough but not super friendly. Everyone is hot I guess (105 out today). Brisket 9/10 - very good Potato was old and dried out. Off brand sour cream and cheese really messed it up for me. BBQ sauce is not for me. It's chunky and has a different/foreign flavor to it. Beans were good but not BBQ style. My husband gave the sausage a 7/10. Indoor seating is no good. Smells really bad in there. Outdoor seating is nice and open - just really hot out. They do have fans. Definitely not in the top 10 for me BUT I also like traditional BBQ. This flavor is a little different. They mailed the brisket tho so at least there's that. $50 for a loaded BBQ potato and a brisket/sausage plate with beans. read more

First the good. Service was excellent. The young lady that took my order was welcoming and helpful. The atmosphere is fun and clean. Overall the food was very good. I tried the brisket ribs and jalapeño sausage. The brisket was the standout. Perfect smoke flavor and fork tender. The sausage was good and what you'd expect for jalapeño cheese sausage. The ribs were disappointing. I got three instead of two but the were off the small end. Very dry and very little meat. I could kinda tell that their glaze might have been good but the ribs I got were barely edible. It's a shame because the ribs were what I was most excited to try. The greens and coleslaw were the sides I chose and I enjoyed them as well. Had it not been for the ribs I woukd have given it a 4-4.5 star rating but having such a big part of the meal basically inedible is why I settled on a 3. I took my leftovers home and my dog devoured everything but the rib meat. That's a sign they need some work. read more

This was a find thanks to a foodies page I follow on the book of faces. The pictures looked amazing so I asked my friends when they were available and we made a time. We turned around and parked around the corner next door. It was a Saturday, so I can't speak to the weekdays. Waking around the corner the smell of bbq pot smoke hit me in the best of ways! You order at the counter before entering the location. The menu is pretty simple and straightforward but all the questions we had were politely answered. We wanted to try several items so we ordered some brisket (lean - my wife's choice), some turkey, some potato salad, ribs, and the pleasant surprise... the HUUUUGE baked potato with moist brisket. It was about the size of 4 potatoes. My friends shared some of their food so I barely put a dent in the potato. The brisket was delightful, even the lean was not dry. The ribs were tender and tasty. No sauce, the ONLY proper way to eat bbq. They did put some on the side but no one ate it. The beans were delightful and the potato salad had a little spice to it. The collard greens were also very good. They have free beer, but we ordered drinks. Tea and cokes and water. The cokes come out in glass bottles.
