Phenomenal BBQ from Vick's.... We've had their food truck out at our Woodland's office for our colleague recognition luncheons a couple of times. A fan/employee favorite. Their pulled pork tacos, their chopped beef sandwiches are favs along with their beans and other sides. Affordable options with very generous portions. Fast friendly service. I personally had them cater a family celebration of life with pulled pork sandwiches, sausage, beans and more. Everyone kept complimenting and wanting to know where we got the delicious food from. This place is fire!! My buddy and I are in town for work and we're looking for a great bbq place to have lunch. Vic's did not disappoint one bit. Brisket, on point. Sausages, on point. This is some outstanding Texas BBQ. I had to drive 20 minutes out here to try it, and it was completely worth it! The closest "local" BBQ I have is McKenzie's, and I personally thought this was much better, no competition. I got the sliced moist brisket, potato salad, and coleslaw. The brisket melted in my mouth. So flavorful and tender. The potato salad was obviously homemade and delicious. The coleslaw stood out to me--a bit more generous on the pepper, which I really love. It also came with BBQ sauce, pickles, onions, and bread. I ordered the individual sides. When I started to drive off, he whistled me down to let me know he'd forgotten the potato salad. Then, he upsized me to a pint for free! Fantastic service. The truck is definitely easy to miss, like some other reviews have said. It's not a sit-down restaurant, but there a couple of benches that would be suitable for eating at on a nice day. Overall, this place rocks! I can't wait to come back soon. Looking forward to trying the sausage, ribs, and mac & cheese in particular. read more

OMG. Now this is some good ole Texas BBQ. The pork rib here is so tender, it is literally falling off the bone. Brisket and sausage will also not disappoint. The potato salad was a nice side - can definitely tell it's homemade. Now the downside to this food truck is - he travels. So I highly recommend checking their Facebook page so you are traveling to the correct location. Service here is great; they provide a buzzer so you aren't sitting in the sun waiting for your meal. (Be mindful, this is a food truck, so there is no real seating or ambiance, but there's a bunch of flavor!) read more

Good ole' boy with great ribs that are perfectly seasoned and fall off the bone tender. One of my favorites in the area.

Went here because my husband had a craving for ribs. So, so glad we did! He had a half rack of pork ribs and they were delicious!! I know this because he insisted I take a bite to try them (a good sign!) even though I was busy devouring a brisket sandwich! It was so (bad word alert!) moist and flavorful!! I finished the whole thing! In addition to the great food we really enjoyed our brief visit with the owner Mr. Vicks. What a nice man! He had to take an early retirement due to co-vid and I'm so glad he chose to buy a food truck! On top of all that I already mentioned, the value was terrific! Hands down the best BBQ we have had in the Woodlands. It's a little food truck across the ExxonMobil but man is it good! We've had Killens, HEB, Texas True BBQ, etc. And this blows all the competitiors away. Just had a 1.5lbs of brisket and 0.5lbs of sausage and I still want more!!! Delicious! read more

The chopped barbecue sandwich was delicious!! It had a very generous helping of tender, flavorful meat. The barbecue sauce, pickles, onions, and peppers were served on the side, so you can custom dress your sandwich. The barbecue sauce has just the right blend of tang with sweet. Vic's BBQ is in a group of food trucks just west of Carriage Hills Boulevard on 1488. I have only had the chop beef sandwiches they are very good. Smoke flavor and large. I met owners they are very nice people come by and visit with them you will enjoy the barbecue. read more

Found this gem and so glad we did. If you are on 1488 and close to 45, make sure you stop here for some of the best bbq you will find. The owners are super nice, the sweet tea is great and oh the bbq. Hands down the best Turkey I have had to date. So moist and full of flavor. The brisket was so good and the owner filled the container with both lean and fat trimmings. It's a must! We will absolutely be making this a normal spot for lunch and dinner. read more
