First of all, I know food trucks can be pricey, but I paid $10 for my individual size frito pie pizza. I think thats a pretty decent price. However, $2 for a water bottle was a bit more than I really wanted to pay. The pizza tasted exactly like I thought it would. Fritos and chili on top of a super cheesy pizza. It was delicious and served piping hot. My mom got a veggie pizza (also for $10) but was given the wrong pizza. She took it back, but had to wait about 20 minutes for it to be remade. The lady was nice enough to give her a water bottle and refund her $5, giving them an extra star! My husband tried my pizza and said it was alright. He wouldn't mind eating it, but would never order it. He's not one to typically love frito pie though. The problem: I understand cooking in a food truck offers you limited space to prepare food. However, the wait for a pizza was well over 20 minutes. Standing outside in the Texas heat with the sun blazing down on you can make you kind of nauseous. By the time I got my pizza, I didn't really want to eat. I decided to go ahead and at least try it at its freshest state. It was good! I would eat it again if it were cooler outside and I knew I wouldn't end up feeling sick because of the heat.
