Love their tacos and love the atmosphere! We have driven past the Bigotes sign several times (which is only visible in front of a gas station). However, if you follow that driveway, it takes you back to probably a dozen food trucks! It was like finding a pot of gold at the end of the rainbow! There are many food trucks but I particularly was interested in trying the Bigotes street tacos. I got the four flour tortillas with fajita and barricola meat, Nortenos style. The tortillas were fresh and the meat was perfect! These were full impact flavor and the cheese and avocado really topped it off! The meal came with a couple of salsas, chopped cilantro and lime wedges as well. Overall I definitely give Bigotes two big thumbs up! The flavor of the food, the presentation and the friendly customer service definitely makes it worthwhile to come here again!

But it's already got a following, I was in for lunch on a Saturday and the place was full. They have a nice selection of breakfast, lunch and dinner items, all posted on the wall. I ordered the carnitas plate, two tacos (one chicken, one beef) and a Jamaica agua fresca. The carnitas plate was very good. The carnitas were done perfectly and were very tender. Their refried beans are different--the beans are broken but not blended, so they have texture. I found them interesting and tasty. There was a nice scoop of homemade guacamole on the pico de gallo. Came with some nice homemade tortillas. The salsas also tasted homemade--the red salsa had a nice kick. The carnitas and salsas could have had a bit more flavor (just a little salt) but with the textures just right I was very happy. The tacos were nicely done also. I would have gotten a dessert but they don't have those yet. All their dishes are presented attractively. I ordered to go but it is a full service restaurant--looks like they have aspirations. Right now the decor is very simple and unassuming. The single restroom was clean and ready. Service was fine. I can absolutely recommend it.

I was excited to try this place as it just recently opened up. I went for lunch & the place was fully empty. We had no wait to order & our food came out quickly. I got three tacos - carne en salsa verde, pollo pibil, and picadillo. It was just ok. The flavors were mild & the meat was a little dry. I feel like when you have tacos like this - the meat really needs to be great, and it just didn't hit the spot for me. I ordered the Jamaica agua Fresca & the staff gave me a lemonade. The lemonade was ok, it was a little too sweet for my taste. The salsa were good. It ended up being around $13 for 3 tacos and a drink, which I thought was pretty pricy. They had a nice interior. I liked the decorations & that there was a handwashing station in the back. Overall, I probably wouldn't come here again, but was interesting to try.
