Amazing local barbecue spot for the New Caney/Splendora area!! This place's food is NUTS! You don't have to drive all the way down to Houston for some quality BBQ - just pull up and see why this place has been around the area for 15 years. My wife and I came on a Friday and it was our first time. They generously let us try some of their barbecue FOR FREE because they were confident we would find something we would like. We got samples of the marbled brisket and their house-made sausage along with their homemade sauces - let me tell you we just ended up getting entrees of the things we tasted because I just wanted more of it. Lol. Their brisket is so tender and juicy that it basically starts to tear itself apart when you pick it up. It goes toe for toe with some of the best in Houston. The house made sausage we ordered sandwich style - two buns, plenty of sausage and topped w/plenty of fixings. We also got their corn and brisket Mac n Cheese (YES, they have B-mac) as the sides. They were also amazing: the corn was generously lathered in butter and slightly sweet. The B-mac was incredibly cheesy and also savory thanks to the delicious brisket juices mixed with the noodles. Can't forget about the service as well. Very friendly, very helpful and super proud of the food they serve. They stand behind what they are cooking and serving to people. I love that they are so close to home and have been here for a while. You can find their food truck parked in front of the Scarlet Barbell Club gym on Wednesday-Saturday's. It's a decent size lot that has plenty of parking. They also have a tent and a little table in front. HIGHLY recommend trying them out. I like some good BBQ. I'm a bit of a BBQ snob. I've been to the rusty buckle because everyone recommended it but it wasn't good. This is good BBQ. I had the brisket and sausage plate plate and it was so good. Brisket was very moist and sausage was really flavorful. He also makes the sausage himself. A bit pricey but no diffrent than corkscrew, tinroof, or Pinkerton and IMO pretty up there for being a food truck (and catering as well)! It's worth because he's very generous with portion size where others weigh your food. . They are both really great folks. You can tell they love what they do. Will be a repeat customer. read more

The food here is so good! You get a ton for the price, so it really feels worth it. C&V always gives you more bang for your buck, and the staff is super kind every time I visit. I also highly recommend ordering the baked potato -- it's always PACKED with brisket and BBQ sauce, and it is seriously the BOMB. They also sell banana pudding, and I always have to grab a cup for dessert! I'm usually not even a banana pudding fan, but C&V's is truly delicious. We finally decided to stop and try out the BBQ at C&V, they did not disappoint! First we ordered our lunch of a chopped brisket sandwich and a sliced version as well. Both were excellent. Added a side of the banana pudding, DELICIOUS!!!! Pre-ordered a rack of the St. Louis ribs for a Friday pickup for an easy dinner. Several days ago, I was driving to get lunch. Turned the corner and C&V BBQ Hut was there. They are more than just a sausage hut. They are the "TRUTH". The brisket was lean and moist. The side sauce (spicy) was to die for. If you are looking for flavor, quality, and quantity, C&V BBQ is where you need to stop. They are located off of 59N and Roman Forest. Stopped by to try out. I ordered a brisket and sausage plate with Mac and cheese and potato salad. The mac and cheese had pieces of brisket in it and some bbq sauce it was delicious. The brisket is amazing. The best I ever had. Mouth watering and tender with great flavor. My husband got the beast sandwich and a boudin link. He enjoyed his as well. Vernon comes into the truck stop I work at often and is so friendly. He's always encouraging me to come out and try his food but I'm often at work the hours he is open. Today he was serving food to local flood victims and asked my husband and I to come by. We both got plates with brisket, his homemade sausage, potato salad and beans. It was absolutely delicious! I don't even usually like potato salad and his was so creamy and good. The sausage is extremely good and the brisket was melt in your mouth tender. His bbq sauce is also great! Pretty sure the pickles were homemade too. Just really awesome food and super kind and friendly owners. I tried this place today for lunch -nine dollars for a slice beef sandwich!!!! And it was one of the worst I've ever had (to be fair, I think the piece of meat they gave me was not the best cut).. $12 for a loaded baked potato!!!?? these guys must think they're Landry's restaurant! I don't know about the rest of the food, but based on the menu and the pricing ,I would not recommend these folks for anything. read more

Wish I could give more stars! My husband & I were passing through the area & looked to Yelp for recommendation. When I saw it was a food truck, I knew it would be good & was not disappointed. This BBQ rates up there with the best I have ever had. We were there as a late lunch so only brisket & his homemade sausage available for the meat choices. Both were delicious! Sauce is homemade & quite good. We had potato salad, beans & corn for our sides. These were not your average BBQ sides but homemade recipes that were exceptional. C&V are friendly & know true customer service. We will definitely eat there when in the area again. In fact, we may even make the 3.5 hr drive from home (one way) so we can try the ribs. read more

This is my favorite BBQ food truck! Pricing is fair and it takes me forever to decide what to order because it's ALL amazing! Certainly not the best BBQ I have ever had but it is definitely the best I have had around the Splendora/New Caney area.
