Fresh. Good crunch added. Great sauce. Great for neighborhood. Vinaigrette sauce accompanied the roll. Outside sitting dog friendly.

Waffles so good don't need syrup! Great way start day and very nice pineapple cream soda! First customer of day, open 11 so took little longer but very nice out door patio. They were out of soft serve so this has scooped! Maybe they do this if asked.

These vegan combo spring rolls were really good! The sauce was ok to me personally but the rolls themselves were so flavorful it didn't really matter about the sauce. Indulged in a chocolate dipped ice cream- so good and so big. Service has always been wonderful here. Really kind folks. First time visiting after sunset and it was really cute and cozy. Will need to come back and try their waffle special and pho :).

STEPH JUDGEMENT: Fast and fresh Vietnamese noodles, rolls, and soft serve ice cream. Was very intrigued when I saw this place go up by Honeybees. This part of Long Beach is not known for Vietnamese food so it was certainly a welcome addition, but how good was the food? In my estimation, pretty darn good! Our first time we got the food to go--tofu rolls, shrimp rolls, and vegan noodle bowl. Some of the rolls had tears in the skin when we got them, but tasted fine. It's great that they offer vegan options, especially when they already have a pretty limited menu. On our second visit we ate on site. I requested a shrimp only bowl, as their regular bowl is shrimp and pork, and they were able to do it. The hubby got the vegan bowl again, and this time I decided to get the house waffle special: coconut pandan waffle with vanilla ice cream and coconut flakes, and it was yum! Portions are generous but probably pricier than what you might get on Anaheim street--if you're not looking for vegan, that is! We are fans and will definitely be back.

We came near opening hour. Super quiet as it is in residential area. One order ahead of us and it's a wait. They share staff with honey bees Waffles smell coconut great. We got is plain without toppings or ice cream The meat on the rolls were warm. Great crunch & veggies were fresh I enjoyed the food but wouldn't make extra trip. There are lot more other places with better spring rolls.

New but part of honeybees. They have 3 categories, egg rolls, bowls, and ice cream. Lots of outdoor seating under umbrellas. Food ordered and delivered in under 10 minutes. I ordered the pork egg rolls (an order comes with 3). It comes with a peanut sauce on the side. I removed one star because the rolls have 4 thinly sliced pieces of pork. Overall ok. They have vegan options and ice cream id like to try. Definitely a nice lunch spot to check out.

My favorite place for vegan spring rolls! What I love about this place is that they have vegan chicken as an option for spring rolls which I have not seen offered anywhere else. Out of all of the vegan spring rolls I've had, this place is the best even above top rated vegan Vietnamese restaurants in Orange County. I love how fresh, flavorful and crunchy it is. Definitely great for a snack or light meal. The spring rolls come with a house vinaigrette however I had asked to try the peanut sauce with it which is delicious and I think tastes better with the spring rolls. I saw that they offer ice cream as well and am hoping they will add more flavors aside from chocolate and vanilla. The only downside is the cost which is a bit steep compared to other places that offer spring rolls. The service is great and the employees are very friendly. As for parking, I didn't see a designated parking lot however there is neighborhood parking available.

Food - 10/10! Oh my goodness their tofu spring roll is so delicious!! As well as the pork one. I will definitely be back to try out the desserts as well as other food times. Service - ordered for pick up and it was on time. Ambiance - Outdoor sitting, there's benches outside to sit at. It's a nice little spot!

I checked out this relatively new place today after cycling. It's conveniently located one block east of Redondo on Third. Such a cute store front and eating area. The menu and ice cream offerings harken back to old days but with healthy food. We tried their special House Spring rolls, Third and Loma Vermicelli Bowl, and homemade iced chrysanthemum iced tea. Oh so delicious and healthy! I could have ordered more but I'll be back. Folks next to us had some ice cream and said it was awesome. Next time. They also have waffles and pancakes?! Good takeout opportunities but enjoy their picnic tables outside with your pooch.

Momma approves of pho gau (brisket only )

NEW ITEM ALERT! PHO! They are now serving a variety of types of pho (brisket, rare steak, shrimp, vegetable, meatballs), and it is surprising delicious and tasty. My mom is a picky eater when it comes to her (Vietnamese) food, so the fact that she approves and likes it says A LOT! The noodles have the perfect soft/firmness to my liking and the broth is tasty. Brisket meat is tender too. Comes with fresh basil leaves, green chili, and lemon. Table condiments of hoisin sauce, rooster chili sauce, and sliced jalapeño soaked in vinegar available. Friendly and accommodating service. So glad this place is serving fresh, delicious Vietnamese food in Long Beach which saves me the trek to OC which I typically do to satisfy Momma's picky taste buds :). Quality food. Nice inviting ambiance. Corn hole available for entertainment. Well done and thank you, 3rd & Loma.

PHO and Spring Rolls - Bwahaha! Kidding! NO Pho for YOU on a Saturday night at 6:30.
    Sheila M.

I'm about supporting small neighborhood businesses but, Pho and Spring Rolls in large black letters?? Arrived here on Saturday at 6:30 for dinner to warm up with some pho only to be told, "Sorry, we're out of pho". 6:30 on a Saturday night!?! Ok, let's pivot. We ordered (3) #11 Beef Bowl (grilled steak and shrimp), (1) #9 3rd and Loma Bowl and (1) #1 House Special egg rolls. Mmm, our 3 beef bowl had a sprinkle of shaved steak and no shrimp. I checked back with the crew and she wasn't sure what's in the beef bowl. I pointed to the menu on the window. She closed the sliding window to check with her coworker and came back to tell me they will grill up 3 shrimps per order. Ok, thanks. Literally took 1 minute and the shrimps were overcooked and bland. The fish sauce was good. I mean, it's fish sauce. The shaved steak, I couldn't tell you since it disappeared after I mixed my bun. House Special egg rolls were good but not the peanut sauce. Sweet and something off. We used the fish sauce from the bun for dipping sauce. Let's talk about our $5 ice cream. If I was 3 years old, it would have been the perfect size. Don't expect much from their ice cream. It's Blue Bunny. $5 a gallon at the market. Workers. They looked miserable behind that window. No smiles. Lack of friendliness. College kids. Smile Ladies. We don't bite. Ambiance is cute. Tables outside and lights overhead. Oh, can you please put a handwashing station outside since there are no bathrooms available for customers to use?

Chicken and waffles were fine. Wish the waffles weren't so soft. The chicken seemed well battered on some parts then completely bare in others. Thought the potatoes would have some crisp on them but they were just mushy. And we were not fans of the mango sticky rice pancakes. The sauce has a very artificial mango taste. The best thing we ordered was the passion fruit tea. It's obvious that something happened with our food taking so long to come out. The least they could do is check in on us. Guess they don't have to when they make you pay and get their 20% tip before you even get seated. Very disappointing experience. Will not be returning.

Bristy, our server, thoroughly explained the details of certain dishes such as the Mac & Cheetos. She also checked in on our table throughout the meal and came around often to refill our water. As for the food itself, it was very delicious. My favorite dish was the artichokes. They had a somewhat smoky flavor and the outermost leaves were crunchy and a nice contrast to the soft inside of the artichokes. They were also served in a tangy sauce that complimented the vegetable well. My friend's favorite item was the macaroni and cheese. It was chewy and creamy, and the pasta, which Bristy informed us was made in-house, was what my friend thought elevated the dish because it was a nice texture. We additionally ordered the gumbo which was also tasty but not as yummy as the other two dishes that we ordered. It is not a spicy dish if one is concerned about spice level. As for the ambiance of the restaurant, we enjoyed how the atmosphere felt casual and almost like you were sitting in somebody's house (the wallpaper and interior design is pretty) while still maintaining an elegant aesthetic design. There is inside seating what looks like a converted house? There is outside seating at tables or at the bar. The menu was interesting which had a theme of shrimp; there was eggs Benedict with shrimp, but not an item to order a regular one without it? Sure maybe could have ordered and asked without shrimp but pay the same price? Pass. Ok when I called they mentioned they serve brunch until 3? 3:30 I can't remember. The server mentioned they serve the brunch all day? Either way when I got to ordering this month on the menu it highlighted the shrimp po boy. I tried to order and nope, out. How can you be out of the item highlighted as the special in the middle of the day? When the place is not packed? I tried to order the lobster roll and again, out. I was tempted to order their short rib poutine since in theory it sounded good, but at this point I tried something simple I would hope they have in the kitchen chicken and waffles. The plate came and it looks good. If you look at the picture at the bottom of the chicken you can see a dark something. As I lift my chicken I found a huge burnt piece of breading pictured next. On top of the chicken is green onion I think? Who eats that with chicken and waffles? If I am wrong, a garnish is totally unnecessary for this dish. The chicken was moist. There are spices in the flour breading I can see but hard to taste what it is. The waffle is a hard pass for me. The waffle was crispy which is good, but also thin and dry and I couldn't taste any sweetness until I put maple syrup on it. The syrup came out warm which was nice. It's clear watching the people at the bar this is a local hangout. The chicken and waffles were $19 which if I was in the bay I think it's about right, but I think a little high considering the level of food I got. Supposedly this place is packed specifically on Sundays. The server doesn't know why? I'm not interested to even try to come back for a second chance and just be told sold out of the menu.
