This place is great ! It's very on - the -go but also cute and welcoming inside so I stayed to eat . It's like a subway/chipotle style of fresh Asian bowls . Food is very flavorful and feels healthy ! I got the bulgogi bowl and it was delish . Service was fast and friendly too. Highly recommend . I tried their mango ice tea also and it was so good !

My colleague got food here few times while back so I decided to check them out. So far I ate here twice, on Fridays, when I tagged along with the rest of my coworkers and walked to the farmers market in DTLB on Fridays. Both times I got their salmon and my base was mostly just salad and half vermicelli noodle. Service was great! The flavor/marinate sauce on the grilled salmon was good though but the salmon overall was just okay. I think overall their veggies ingredients are super fresh and good quality. Overall, just a very healthy option for lunch in general..

We tried this place for first time tonight and we were pleasantly surprised with the results. This place is yummy! The food was good, tasted fresh and the portions are hearty. The service was friendly, helpful with my questions and quick. The restaurant was small, cute and clean. Overall super good spot. We definitely will be back.

Curry lemongrass chicken, mixed greens, edamame, broccoli, carrots, and avocado. Side order of sweet garlic tofu and ginger sauce.

Always come here for lunch when I'm in the mood for something healthy or craving their fresh juices. Lots of options you can choose from or that you can tweak to your liking. Place is always clean and has decent amount of tables inside. Service is always great. They're are always nice and easy to talk to when you have a question about their food. I've had all their juices, love their morning glory and take me there, as well as their 3-day detox. I've had their Singaporean bowl, Shanghai bowl, Bangkok bowl - my fav, crispy bao, kimchi fries, & chicken wings. All solid.

Newly opened healthy, cheap, and Asian-inspired casual eats spot! I visited this spot looking for a healthy and refreshing treat after a greasy meal and the smoothie from here hit the spot! I got the strawberry banana smoothie and it was great! The smoothie texture was smooth and not icy. I liked the fresh and tasty strawberry and banana flavors and it wasn't tart at all. I got 100% sugar and it was sweet, so I'd maybe get a lower sugar frequency if I were to have this again. I also liked the strawberry jam smeared on the sides of the cup. The smoothie was also pretty large, so a good deal for around $6-$7 . This spot also offers a lot of other options other than smoothies. My friend got one of their juices and she said it was good and healthy tasting. It was also a good large sized portion. They have a build your own bowl station with Asian-inspired ingredients. Everything was at a good value, so I would definitely visit again to try their bowls. The interior was nice and had a kiosk that you could order from. They have private bathrooms as well. For parking, there's a parking lot next to the restaurant that you can park at for 2 hours for free. Overall, I'd say this a spot worth checking out if you're looking for a cheap and healthy option in the Long Beach area.

Fresh and mindful bowls and bites that easy to eat and take to-go. My coworkers kept talking about it and i believe its worth the hype. You select a base bowl or choose your own, add toppings of your choice, and you're good to go. Location needs improvement with doors being open and allowing flies in. Onions and cucumbers need to be more finely cut, it seems that they might be cut by hand, which seems like extra work in the game of prep. Last complaint is that bulgogi sauce being $1 is a bit tough, specially for the size. Staff is fast and ready to assist you with any questions. I believe they are trained well since they shown a lot of improvement from the opening week to now. Definitely a staple for lunch or dinner home.

I heard of the Asian Chipotle, and had to come. Greeted by friendly staff in a very well decorated restaurant. Menu is well priced and pretty big selection. We got the egg rolls, house salad along with three drinks and not disappointed. The part I loved the most was the manager showed us everything.... cannot wait to go back.

So yummy and filling. I did the create your own bowl with sweet garlic chicken. We also tried the crunchy chicken. Everything was delish. The place is clean and cute. Vibes were nice

My first visit after walking at The Market. The staff is friendly. The restaurant has a wide and nice variety of food and beverages. I ordered the Hokkaido Salad Bowl and it was delicious and was a generous portion. You also get a very trendy reusable lunch bag that keeps your food warm. I definitely recommend this place. I will be a regular now and look forward in exploring the menu.

I got the energy bosst juice there because I saw a sign that said juices. It was delicious and I gotta exactly what I expected a delicious healthy flavor blast. I added extra ginger which made it even better and it came in a cool bottle

I've walked past this spot so many times and finally decided to step in. The vibe reminds me a little of Flame Broilerbut better. I haven't tried the food yet, but I did stop in for juice. I ordered the Morning Glory, which came in the cutest little bottle, and it was absolutely delicious. Definitely worth a visit!

Tokyo chicken bowl

Wanted to like this, love the concept but not the actual meal. Staff super cute and cheerful but didn't really help me decide what to eat. Ordered a Tokyo chicken rice bowl, didn't know it would be soggy steamed dark meat. Salad part was fresh, salad dressing was good. Liked the crunchy fresh veggie toppings but ugh that chicken. The plain sweet teriyaki flavor of the chicken didn't help, perhaps not the best menu choice. Sauce of choice was spicy mayo which I also didn't enjoy. Left much of this meal behind.

One of the highlights is their Thai tea, which is served with a popsicle and seems to be one of their most popular items for good reason. It's fun, unique, and absolutely delicious. I also tried the salmon curry, which was something new for me, and I ended up loving it. The flavors were rich, balanced, and unlike anything I've ordered before. Another unexpected favorite was the wings. I'm usually not a big wings person, but these were surprisingly good--crispy, flavorful, and definitely worth ordering. Overall, the food, drinks, and atmosphere exceeded my expectations. It's a spot I would absolutely come back to and one that I would definitely recommend to others.

Kin was one of the only restaurants open until 10 PM. We were seated right away, and somehow the five of us sat in a private room. It was kind of late for me to eat anything really heavy so I just have my usual salad and it was the beef tenderloin salad. They serve it up with a lot of beef and less veggies. The beef itself was a little chewy and in large pieces. I prefer the meat to be cut a little smaller and would like more lettuce and cucumber. I got a little taste of the spicy fried rice, which was really good. Some of us ordered Thai tea and didn't expect what we received, which was the tea with a Thai tea popsicle. What a treat! The Thai tea itself was pretty standard, but that popsicle was like the icing on a cake. The places, modern and clean. Staff is helpful and nice. We overtipped, to probably compensate for our last visit. However, the new kitchen manager has clearly changed the calamari (10/10 before, 3/10 now, to the point I felt embarrassed that I'd waxed poetic about it to my out of town guests, who didn't have more than a few pieces, and the ones I ate were just to kind of toe a line), and this is pedantic, but sesame buns for the sliders was a weird choice. So they're no longer on my shitlist, but I do think I'm going to need to try different go-tos. I'm almost scared to try the tuna tartare (my other go to) after the change in the calamari and sliders. I really so desperately urge management to bring back the former chef, because the current one really seems to expending the least effort possible. And for the record, there was a "specials" slip left on our table, with one of the items noted as "sold out." On a Monday, by 5p. Something is going wrong here. I'm going to try yet again, but the changes that have thus far been made absolutely suck. Ambiance still a 10/10.

The sauce on it was good but too salty. The tofu & shiitake dish was served in a savory and tasty home/brown sauce. Meaning, we were spending time together and just moving through the interaction, like clothes in a spin cycle. But going here made our time together mean something more because we had arrived at a space that elevated our mood and spirits. So we were now feeling the suds and splashes of the movement not just in the monotony of the spin. As we entered, I felt like the place was a Chinese Market but indoors. I have never bene to China (I have yet to die so maybe one day my feet will have the chance to step the Great Wall) but I feel like their street vendors would have stands like the seating motif within the main room of this joint. The place was not packed but there was no space within the wooden booths for Conrad and I. I asked for options, and they showed me two different rooms. The first room was the Hao Pen You room which was heavilty yet beautifully decorated with varying red lanterns in the ceiling. Additionally, there was a paper dragon hanging in the ceiling, swimming in the air amidst the lanterns. The host ushered me in, and milaseconds after I felt a quick sense of awe. Not like the one I felt one I saw the Sisteen Chappel, but one that compelled me to snap quick photos of the aerial view. The host understood. She stopped her explanation to give me the space to feel my wow that was delivered in a red envelope. I eventually decided to sit in this room, so there is more detail that I can deliver, but before I do, I did request to see the other room of the house. So we crossed the room with the wooden booths and stepped into an immersive Tiki Bar that gave shipwreck vibes. Like the survivors of shipwreck took what they could from the boat's carcass, and made a great bar in the beach that glowed with the light of jellyfish and had seaweed on the ceiling as decoration that was not stale like mistletoe on a doorway. When Conrad and I sat in the Hao Pen You room, we learned that it was a quasi speak easy. According to history, in the 1800's it was common for Chinese immigrants to visit gambling and opium dens behind laundry rooms to find a space that they could call their own and escape discrimination. I am sure that dens of the past did not have the blazing style of the room I was sitting in, but I did appreciate learning about the history that inspired the room. Only because the pain of the past was reshaped to honor a culture in theatrical and edgy red. Plus, as one of my pictures show, the dragon's face and laser lit eyes, made it seem like a real creature born to this earth, not one simply reserved for myth and Game of Throne episodes. I appreciated the immersive trip to Chinese's lore and history. The reason why I did not give this place 5 stars, was the food. The food in general was (maybe tragically) basic. Conrad did not confirm this fact until we were outside the restaurant. I asked him why did he not share his feelings with our server when she asked? He explained why would he, she did not cook the food, and she could not do anything? And I am from the camp, where honesty matters but I guess it might only matter to me? He might be right what does honest feedback do for a server? Conrad might have been practicing "restaurant politeness" like keep the situation civil because if one becomes a demanding patron or eater then one breaks the social contract and becomes rude. Specifically, Conrad and I had the Vegan Dumplings, the pork buns, and rice wrapped in leaves. And even though we had different bites, and each one had their own flavor profile at the end I can only describe each bite as basic. That is my opinion, and I stand by it, as I should, as every one should. Perhaps this restaurant owns this identity. This might be a place that offers theatrical atmosphere, great drinks, vibes that make a Tuesday special, but their food might be the area that remains standard, and in the final score card the servers of the joint might be ok with that.

The only request from anybody was for Pad Thai, the most common dish at all Thai restaurants. I GPS my way over and order the food. I was Khao Soy on the menu and I don't see that at too many Thai places that I've been to, so I got an order of that with chicken. Of course, an order of Pad Thai, 2 orders since I have 5 hungry people to feed. Also, I ordered the Thai coconut soup, I think it's called Tom Kha with chicken. One more noodles dish was the Drunken Noodles, it's kinda like Chinese Chow Fun, but has a more spicy flavor and basil in it. The food was all pack and bagged for me to take back to the hotel. We used my room since I have a bigger room. We had plates and set ups for all five of us and we re-plated the food on the serving plates that came with the room. All the food was really tasty and everybody was happy not to have to leave the hotel. I heard compliments on the Pad Thai and the Coconut soup. The khao soi was delicious as well, but there was a very small amount of meat for the price and the taste didn't blow me away, 6/10. The pork belly was juicy and crispy! It had enough flavors, however, I don't think the sauce was my cup of tea as it was starting to feel a bit overwhelming with the coconut. Lastly, for the Khao Soi noodle soup, I actually thought it was good but definitely not the best dish I've eaten. It's on the lighter side without skipping much of the flavors.
