I cannot say enough about this family owned company so if my post seems lengthy, know that I left some out. I requested quotes from three different companies I found on Yelp, they were the fastest to respond...bonus, and the most seemingly knowledgeable (what do I know about bees) and sensitive to the three plus years of unpaid tenants I had shacking up under the eaves of my 2nd story roof...only recently have the bees become aggressive...otherwise, they were the nicest unwanted guests you could have. Best bee keepers we have ever worked with! We have had to deal with bees on five separate occasions and this was the most knowledgeable and professional company we have ever worked with. We had a big bee hive in our driveway and called one company and after three weeks finally gave up on them because we still had bees. We called 3BeeGuys Bee Removal and they should up in the morning and had all the bees gone before lunch. 3BeeGuys (Jim) give me a quote and then showed up as scheduled to begin removing the bees via a vacuum into a screened box and also removed the comb from inside the tree. Once it was determined that the bees had been safely removed, Jim started the process of sealing the holes in the tree so that they could not return. Work performed: located hive, removed 5 gallons of rotted honeycomb and invasive beetle larvae, disinfected and sealed the cavity where the hive was located. I'm so glad I found 3BeeGuys. Lewis and Jim were able to quickly pinpoint where the weakened beehive was located. Very knowledgeable, experienced, and professional. By the time their crew was done with the removal and cleanup, you can't even tell anyone was ever here. Some companies do not perform the repair/replacement for cutouts they make (e.g. Sheet rock inside the house, or exterior brick) after their work is done. But this company has the expertise...they even happened to carry the same color shingle we needed for replacing a small section if the roof they removed! All inclusive in the price. Price is a little on the high side, but Jim just came across as someone who is honest and can be trusted to get the job done well. I got another bid from someone else who apparently did not even get the type of larvae correctly! This other guy said the larvae are fly maggots when they are actually hive beetle larvae (I looked it up to confirm. Fly larvae are much bigger than the ones in our house). This other guy was going to cut through the drywall inside the house which would have been unnecessary. That's why it's always good to interview and get bids from multiple companies. He answered every question i (and all my neighbors) had and helped me understand why the bees came to my house and what he was going to do. 3BeeGuys are the best in the business! True professionals in bee removal! We had bees get through a small opening between the hardie siding and the brick. They built around 5 or 6 honeycombs inside space between upstairs floor and ceiling of garage. We needed the bees removed to save our house but didn't want to kill the bees since they are endangered. 3BeeGuys had the solution and quoted a price which they kept. They showed up and assessed the situation. Then gently removed the siding and the wood behind the siding to open up the crawl space where the bees were building their factory. They safely transported all the bees from our house into a box using a vacuum technique. It was somewhere around 5,000 to 6,000 bees! They removed all the honeycombs (no honey yet). Cleaned out and sprayed the area inside and outside to ensure no scent left behind to attract other bees or rodents. Put in new insulation. Re-attached the wood and siding with special tools. Sealed up the area with silicon. Re-painted the siding with paint that we provided that matched our house color. It looks as good as new and no more bees! They also sprayed the outside of the house near the area just in case any other bees returned. This would deter any stragglers from re-entering after the others were removed. I said goodbye to the bees as they were safely relocated to a bee farm. It was a win/win for the bees and our home. Thank you 3BeeGuys! Great work!! I totally recommend them.
