I was recently invited to a dinner here. It's been a few years since I've been back due to the fact that I had a few experiences that left me disappointed. Honestly, I was a bit hesitant to return. Surprisingly, I had a nice night. I had a great little salad that had a lot of flavor, even though it was very simple. I had the short rib, which was very good and quite filling to the point I couldn't even finish it. Much better than the last time I had it flavor wise and for dessert I had the sorbet special which was also good. It seems something has changed since my last visits and I would like to try it again to see if it wasn't just a good night.

Side of Wild Mushrooms... mainly button and creminis. Not seasoned. Lacked any flavor.

Service was good (James was fantastic) and view nice. The restaurant was very busy due to graduation parties. We did not love the food. If we came back, we'd probably just do drinks and apps/salads.

We had a great meal here last night for my birthday! We got the wedge salad, filet trio, and a ribeye and everything was sooooo good! The salad was super fresh and light and the meat was cooked exactly the way we asked for it! I would definitely come back.

I've been to 333 Pacific on several occasions and finally wanted to write this legit review. It's located in the heart of downtown Oceanside by the Pier. This is the best location for amazing ocean views while dining. When I'm there, I feel welcomed. The staff are so friendly and very helpful at the same time being on top of the table service. Of course, the food is on another level...usually tastes really good. But, I did eat an eggnog bread pudding for dessert that was a bit on the dry side. Overall, I always enjoy 333 Pacific :-) FYI: It's recommended to make reservations.

Filet mignon with a little piece of salt on it I guess and mushroom risotto.

It was just okay. Disappointed in the filet mignon. Got it medium rare but was still a bit chewy. Not much flavor. The mashed potatoes, Brussel sprouts, and mushroom risotto were good though. The service was top notch and I like the blue-lit bar tops. I guess you're just paying for the location more than anything.

This place holds its of memories including where we got engaged! We've come here on and off for years but recently just started enjoying it again. The happy hour is amazing . The food has been elevated as of late and the service is always on point! Highly recommend whenever you are in downtown Oceanside and or north county! Finish off with a stroll down the pier. Will keep coming back for sure!

Okay first timers here! We had the best experience! Highly recommend! Our server was David and our busser was Savanna. Both so attentive and amazing! Okay so on top of that the food... holy moly!! SOO good!! The drinks Huge selection and amazing mixed drinks(even took a sip of my man's IPA and I liked it! [im a picky beer drinker]) We will definitely be returning! Thank you David and Savanna!

Perfect date night spot! We came here to celebrate a late Valentine's and our waitress was so welcoming! The shareable portions are actually quite large so don't fill up on those! The Mac and cheese was a bit dry and the short rib on top was sweet?? My boyfriend's burger had a sweet sauce on it rather than the garlic aioli on the menu? A bit pricey but the view is nice and worth it if you're celebrating a special occasion.

came for happy hour - big portions of food. Had the muscles, calamari, Brussels sprouts, Caesar salad & fries. Everything tasted fine! $10 plate for a large portion was reasonable. The berry berry cheesecake was my favorite. Service was quick and easy. It did start to pick up & get busy around dinner time (4:30) Street parking was super easy to find.

Our table for our anniversary dinner!

The. was amazing food was amazing service was complementary . They kind of lied on the intro for the champagne and rose petals but all in all it was delicious. I ordered the salmon black and then my husband ordered halibut and I don't wanna stop eating. It's absolutely delicious. Served timely and delicious!

A delish dinner in a lovely setting. Ocean view from the patio! Super fresh and yummy oysters, flavorful cioppino where the seafood was cooked to perfectly. Crostini was toasted just right and perfect for dipping. My friends enjoyed their filet mignon that was cooked to perfection along with their mushroom risotto. The rosemary rolls came out steaming hot with the creamiest maple butter. Ended our meal with a decadent flourless chocolate cake. Our server Allison was excellent and checked on us often. The sous chef Sergio was great and even checked on us! A great dinner to end a great day of shopping!

The steak was delicious and perfectly cooked, and the drinks were phenomenal. Are favorite dish was the calamari! It's definitely one of the best things on the menu. The service was a little slow, but overall, we had a good experience. The only reason I'm not giving this a five star review is due to the ambience. There was a person knocking on the window from outside yelling at us and we were at a table that felt very crowded and close to the surrounding tables. Our order was also messed up, but was resolved.

Steak sampler ! Pork chop, ribeye, one other that i forget!

My college friends and i meet every 5 years and we chose this place to have our martini seafood tower lunch. I left notes for the server and boy did they deliver -- gave us a great table with this hilarious photo. Just a great experience I came for the food I stayed for David and Alex the server. Best bartender & server I've ever had. Fantastic vibe and great energy.

No champagne brunch?

I believe they have A brunch on the weekends. Don't know about the Champagne though!

I asked for fresh coffee because the coffee I was originally served was cold. Not only was the issue never corrected promptly, but I was completely forgotten about again while waiting for a new cup. Our order had already been taken, yet after 35 minutes we still had not received a salad, fresh coffee, or even a simple update from our server. To make matters worse, I was moved downstairs again to another small table directly beside the service station, which made the experience feel even more uncomfortable and unwelcoming. After being moved, I was then asked if I had brought my silverware with me. At that point, after already being ignored and waiting excessively, that comment was the last straw. I spoke with the manager on duty and was told the server was new and management was "trying to push him." While I understand new employees need training, placing an inexperienced server on a busy Saturday night without proper support is poor management. Instead of helping the server succeed, it pushed customers away. What was most shocking was that after all of this, I was actually asked why I was leaving. Seriously? After cold coffee, forgotten service, a 35-minute wait with no food, being moved to an undesirable table by the service station, and being asked about my silverware, the reason should have been obvious. Customers should not be made to feel ignored, inconvenienced, or like an afterthought. This experience was unacceptable, and I hope management takes this complaint seriously and reevaluates both customer service standards and how staff are supported during busy hours.

He guided us through the menu and recommended ordering a variety of dishes to share from each category, which turned out to be a great suggestion. We started with the tomato appetizer, cornbread, and the standout dish of the night--the incredible head of broccoli. For our mains, our son and daughter-in-law shared the roasted chicken, while my husband and I shared the pork chop. Every dish was exceptional, but the broccoli truly stole the show--even my husband, who rarely eats vegetables, loved it. Kaden struck the perfect balance with his service--attentive without ever being overbearing--which made the experience even more enjoyable.

Walk-ins usually end up sitting at the communal high top tables. It isn't too bad but a tiny bit uncomfortable for people on the shorter side (like me). The ambiance is fine glamping style so you do want to be just a teeny bit dressed up. Dressing as if you were camping won't quite work in this restaurant. The servers are nice enough but the place is quite loud so you really have to yell to hear each other. My friend and I ordered a bunch of things to share. We got the tomato, the carrot, the broccoli, and the pork belly. I ordered one of their newer ciders but it tasted more like beer than a cider. Among the shareables, the broccoli (which is the most popular) was actually our least favorite. My friend's top choice was the tomato and mine was a very very close tie between the carrot and the pork belly. Those three dishes were unique, absolutely delicious, very different from each other and had a medley of different flavors. The broccoli unfortunately was too oily and felt heavy and single flavor dominant. It wasn't bad but I can't quite see why people aren't about the other clearly superior dishes. We didn't get dessert here because it didn't speak to us. Pricing wise, it is on the pricier side. I guess that is expected for Carlsbad and given who owns this restaurant. Parking is in the public parking lot behind the restaurant.

We settled on Oceanside in hopes of finding good food, as our weekend (end of Feb) had been full of a poor results. This place came up as very well rated on Yelp, as my friend and I searched for places to eat. It was a Saturday night with great weather. The red flag I should have read into was that the lone guy working that night was a one man show. He was doing it all in the front of the house. I tried to get us a table to sit outdoors but he just couldn't get to the table to clean it. After about 20 minutes he finally came and just moved all the bowls to the empty table next to it and wiped it down. When my friends finally arrived we all sat down to sticky menus that had NO descriptions. What you see on the website is exactly what they have on the menu. We had to wait to ask the server/host what each menu item meant. It took a while to get our food from when we ordered. Thank goodness for good company, I didn't clock it. The food options were limited and keep in mind for those who have children, most of the options come with a spicy kick, you'll have to explicitly tell them "no spicy"! There was a party who had been sitting for a while before we got there and a kiddo took a bite of pizza and was crying, screaming from it being so spicy. With my ramen the portions are tiny for what you pay, with 1 piece of meat, not enough noodles. Flavor wise it was spicy and bland. We ordered a couple appetizers which were not very good. The edamame was overly salty and soaked in soy sauce and the karaage was probably the only good thing and that was a little overfried. No one in our party finished our food or took any of the leftovers home. Save yourself the trip, not worth trying the "unique foods".
