32 Shea - Coffee & Tea Near Me - Phoenix, Arizona

First, please don't view my four star rating as anything that went wrong or unsatisfactory with my food. I rarely give five star reviews, especially if I use a delivery service, which I did for this order, because I'm not able to personally give an opinion about service or the overall impression of the restaurant itself. Anyway, I ordered the Lox (gluten free bagel) and Chai Latte. Simply yummy. I was pleasantly surprised that I enjoyed it so much because I rarely eat anything but a plain bagel...this was an Everything bagel which I didn't catch in the description. My fault, because it was definitely listed. They didn't skimp on the salmon, which was delicately smoked. I ordered a small Chai Latte, cold, which had just the right amount of sweetness and spice. I'm definitely going to keep this place as my go to work place restaurant to order from. read more

Chef jordan is the best! So impressed with all his menus . I have eaten here twice for a private Showcase of the new menu. I highly recommend doing that. He should have his own close or at least be on Tv. He is very talented and creative with food. You will not regret eating here! read more

What an absolute fantastic find! This place had the most amazing coffee on a hot Phoenix morning. It has a perfect little patio area with misters that is shaded and a great spot for coffee or breakfast with the fur babies. Will definitely make a point to come back here again soon! read more

This is my go-to place for a quiet dinner date or a lunch meeting with co-workers. The space is small and inside tables are hard to come by, but the patio and the tables outside are charming and very comfortable. They have heaters for the winter months - which have proved useful! I just love the food! I have had a variety of different meals there, but every one is delicious. I highly recommend this place! read more

How can I not update my review to 4 stars when my husband and I are practically regulars? We both enjoy the coffee here. His go to- iced vanilla latte and mine is the iced Nutella Mocha with almond milk. Original: 32 Shea was a good place to have breakfast when you want something quick and easy. Our order: early bird sandwich, bacon cheddar waffles and an iced vanilla latte jumbo size. Hubby loved the fact they had 32 oz cups available. We sat down and waited patiently for our food. Our entrees come "simple" with no sides so the presentation isn't spectacular. The sandwich was ok, slightly slim. I enjoyed the bacon cheddar waffles. Overall, quick, easy and we left full. read more

This is a cute little spot for some coffee or a sandwich! The patio is secluded and well decorated so it's a nice place to sit and eat-- but the drive through is also prompt. The food is good and I have not had issues getting exactly what I ordered (I ask for no mustard and have not gotten mustard). read more

Use to have nasty coffee, now it's some of the best! 2023. Great food as well. Thank you.

I found this place on the Local First Arizona website and 32 Shea is quickly becoming both my local hangout and my stop for an afterwork cocktail. I really love this place - especially their outdoor patio. The way that the owners have worked to convert an old photomat into a spot of relaxation and good vibe is amazing. It's small but I've always been able to get a table and their outdoor patio is dog friendly. I've been for breakfast, lunch, and dinner and all three have been a good experience. They even have a drive-thru for coffee in the mornings. For breakfast, I like the egg-white bites. Their flatbreads change daily and they also do some specials during the week that my family enjoys like burgers and milkshakes. Their cocktails are innovative and delicious and its a great relaxing spot for connecting with friends after work. There was recently a fundraising campaign for an elderly gentleman in the area and when I went on the website to make a donation, I saw that 32Shea had made a generous contribution for this man. This is the type of business that I want to support. read more

This little coffee shop off of Cactus and the 51 freeway is similar to finding a ring in a Cracker Jax box. It's totally unexpected. The surrounding area is so "ho hum" and almost sketch, you would never think you would find a cute coffee hangout. There is a small patio area surrounded by greenery and small tables perfect for conversation. The benches against the fence have colorful square pillows lining the entire back and umbrellas provide perfect shade for midday sun. The ambiance is peaceful and inspiring. Indoors is a little darker and more intimate setting since the shop is not as spread out as the patio. There were sandwiches available and some pastries to accompany whatever coffee you may enjoy. I tried a dirty chai latte. Although I asked for it cold, I received a hot one, but I didn't bother to have him change it, because I didn't really care one way or another. It was really good! I am just curious to have it cold next time. Or maybe I'll try the pumpkin latte... They had quite a few choices and the menu was very clear on their chalkboard overhead. The staff is really friendly and talkative as are the people who seem to be regulars here. There is really nothing bad to be said about this place at all, except for that one minor mistake. I do plan on returning again when I'm in the area. read more

I went here for a business meeting. My wife and son joined since we had a Lions Club meeting in the same area afterward. This place was perfect! The patio was nice and secluded with running water and Buddha heads. The food was delicious. We all shared the green shake, the grilled cheese and some tea. The staff was very nice and helpful. There is a dog patio and lots of trees. I'd recommend this place to anyone for any usage. read more

Two words: Lavender Latte Holy, thank you Lord for this delicious concoction and for this homely place called 32 Shea. Looks like a bar ... but let me tell you it feels like home- without a doubt. I had a lovely cashier who was just a sweetheart and was sporting a leather hat that I was mirin', he was quick to take my order yet made it feel unrushed and was sure to answer my questions. I got the Lavender Latte and Steel Cut Oats with fruit. My order came out in a timely manner and was absolutely perfect. The Lavender Latte was out of this world and had beautiful smooth latte art. My biggest thing with Lavender and Rose (floral) flavors in food or coffee is the balance, too much and it's like you're eating soap though when it lacks it's underwhelming. 32 got it spot on in the middle, it was amazing. The oats were good, typical steel cut and more on the wet side. It came with slices of banana, berry, cinnamon and brown sugar. It also didn't cost an arm and a leg, so you can bet the portion is about a cup or so. Prices aren't too bad either! 32 Shea has a spacious open patio, that is secluded enough to make you forget you're sitting in a random plaza parking lot. Serves up great coffee and provides killer food, also they have a twelve hour happy hour. Did I grab a craft beer at 9 in the morning? No, but now I know that I can without some kind of judgement being passed here. Limited space indoors, but airy and open enough to get fresh air and light with a view of the bar as well. Really great vibe here, everyone seems to be in the best mood and looks like there are tons of frequents ... which isn't surprising. Can't wait to try out their Rosemary syrup, Nutella Mocha, Green Smoothie and Toddy next! read more

Yay! My favorite Chai mix with several milk alternatives. Seriously, favorite Chai blend- and the spicy is divine. Before I even tasted my drink, I mentioned Maya chai and was elated to hear that's what they serve. Normally I make my own and boycott the overly sweet, bland stuff served at a famous big brand. Sugar is a luxury for me so I tend to choose carefully. The staff are so friendly and willing to accommodate requests. I can't wait to go back to sample the food. read more

We've been going here for the past few years for brunch. The outdoor dog-friendly seating keeps us coming back. Had breakfast yesterday, 5/19/23 and were disappointed in the food. Ordered the short rib breakfast burrito, which sounds amazing on the menu. arrives as just a burrito on a plate with a ramekin of "homemade green salsa" which is more like an unknown dark green, flavorless puree. I am a green salsa afficianado and could not make out any flavors even remotely close to salsa. no tomatillo, no onion, no cilantro, no salt, no flavor whatsoever. I asked for any regular salsa or pico de Gallo and was told they have nothing else... other than Tapatio or Cholula. The burrito itself was also flavorless. short rib was tender enough but lacked any seasoning or flavor. the scrambled eggs were cooked sheet pan style (I unwrapped the burrito to feed to my dog as I hate to waste perfectly good food but found it totally unappealing; almost inedible. scramble eggs lacked salt or pepper and were the shape of a rectangle. some avocado slices and mushy, flavorless hashbrowns rounded out the burrito. a garnish of parsley or some fruit slices or some actual "salsa" would have done wonders to liven up this sad lonely dish. Pretty sure some Mexican grandmother somewhere is rolling over in her grave that this is called a "burrito" with "homemade green salsa". My husband had the egg white bite.. which is the size of a giant piece of lasagna. kinda square and thick, egg white, spinach, feta. nothing exciting. can't judge that as I had no interest in tasting it but considering how popular this joint is, (pretty full considering size and mid-morning weekday) the food is uninspired and the presentation lackluster. Oh, you also go inside to order at the counter and have to bus your own dishes to a plastic bucket near the entrance. two stars for ambiance and option to order alcohol. read more

I have grown to love 32 Shea. The food itself isn't spectacular, but you can't beat the convenience and efficiency of their drive-thru. We go at least once a week, primarily because it's the quickest way to get good, non fast-food breakfast and decent coffee. It is organized and the wait time isn't terrible, especially for how busy they are. Service is always wonderful. We always order the Chorizo and New Mexico Burrito. The green chile sauce is delicious and I love that they don't skimp on the avocado. The bacon-cheddar waffle which is only available on the weekends is good. The last time I ordered this, they had forgotten the homemade syrup. The waffle however was sweet enough on its own. For lunch, I would recommend the OMG sandwich and turkey cranberry. Le Grande Tuna was okay and I found it a little bland for my taste. I can't wait to dine in one of these days, as I have heard the patio is beautiful! read more

Came here last Saturday for lunch with my mom and dad. I'm pretty sure this used to be one of those photo huts when I was growing up. The place is tiny inside. Cute, but a bit noisy. If it was cooler outside, it would have been great to sit on the patio. The sandwiches were good. I had the turkey which I thought was a bit bland, but you could tell it was made with good ingredients. My dad had a BLT that he said was excellent, and my mom had the roast beef sandwich with the horseradish cream sauce. I wish I had gotten that!!!! It was delicious! Next time I go back, I will have that for sure. Their coffees looked nice, and I would like to try them as well. I will be going back for that sandwich. It's a very cute little place. I want to love this place. Been here a couple of times. I would give it a 7/10. Food might be good but there is a hipster style to how menu items are made. To say deconstructed would be kind wine helps and fortunately it is at a decent price point. This is the Veggie-tarian for $9.25. Add $1 for side salad substitute, $2 for added turkey, totaling up $12.25 for take out. It came looking like a shaken mess. There was nothing redeemable. Underwhelming. And overwhelmed by by greens. Bread was on the north side stale. Description said provolone. No provolone. So it's dry bread, tomatoes (the high point), cucumbers that couldn't go on a salad due to their looks, pitiful cream cheese, and about 1/32 of an avocado. Plenty of greens. And a side of hipsters. If this was Subway, I'd be mildly disappointed. But that would have been a $6 sandwich. I'm pissed and hungry. read more

It is rare to find a drive-through that actually serves healthy food. Thank you, 32 Shea, for bringing fast and nutritious food to those in a hurry in the north Phoenix area. I've never actually ordered food from the drive-through myself, but every time I've observed a sale, it seems to be delivered quickly. The menu consists of coffee drinks (and a full bar, though alcohol can't be ordered from your car), as well as salads and sandwiches and a daily soup. With the sandwiches, you get a side of chips or a side salad. I've always gotten the salad, but I prefer swapping the house vinaigrette with ranch. As for the sandwiches, the veggie sandwich, which comes with cream cheese, tomatoes and greens, is tasty - just go light on the greens, unless you'd like a second salad on your sandwich. 32 Shea has a lot going for it - a really cute patio with comfy seating, and eclectic design inside that creates a funky, relaxing ambiance. I really like the restaurant has a bar area. The space can be anything you want - eatery, coffeehouse, bar, patio, or drive-through -- which is awesome. Every time I've dined in for lunch, though, ordering has been an awkward experience. The ordering space is tiny, barely fitting two people comfortably, while anyone else is left to hover over them as they order. It'd be nice to just be able to pick a spot to sit down, then have a server come and take your order. The crampedness of the front ordering space is not a fun way to start your meal. read more
