5.Trenton Burger
Taniesha A.

Had the loaded onion dog and Trenton burger and I must say they were good. When they say loaded they mean loaded. I love how the onions are shoe string thin almost like sauerkraut. The Trenton burger doesn't disappoint if you are a pork roll (Taylor ham) fan. I would have liked the burger a little less cooked but it was still tasty.

When my friend suggested meeting up at 30Burgers, I'm so glad she did. Not only is there a huge selection of burgers, but there are also options for fish, chicken, hot dogs, and much more. I was a bit overwhelmed by all the choices, so I asked Kiley, the lovely cashier, for a recommendation. She told me her favorite was the Bullseye BBQ Burger. It features bacon, BBQ sauce, crispy onion straws, cheddar cheese, and the usual lettuce, tomato, and condiments, all nestled in a soft and delicious Miami onion bun. My ravenous friend ordered the Texas Dog, topped with a hearty amount of chili, and the Cajun Fish Burger, which consists of grilled tilapia seasoned with Cajun spices. Her sandwich came on a baked deli bun. She was impressed by the robust flavors and declared it her new favorite. Everything was made fresh and brought to us by Kailey, our wonderful cashier. The place is clean, with tables lined up along the wall and a beautiful mural welcoming guests to the Freehold, NJ location.

Overpriced, poorly constructed burger. It's like a salad with a slice of meat...that only took 15 min to make when the store was empty. Cashier was on her phone the whole time. Avoid this place. The other reviewers must hat Burger King as a benchmark

Onion rings and French fries

30 Burgers just opened up a new location in Freehold! With 30 different kinds of burgers to choose from, you may be like me and find yourself having a hard time deciding what burger to order! Pick from a variety of angus beef burgers, chicken burgers, as well as speciality burgers like veggie, gyro and turkey options! My bacon royal burger was cooked to perfection, and tasted fresh and juicy. Burgers may be the star of the show, but they go beyond that! Try some of their wings (I enjoyed the garlic parmesan wings), and you've gotta add a side of fries or onion rings to your order! Wash it all down with a delicious, creamy milkshake! I loved my Oreo milkshake and they have great flavors to choose from. The service was very friendly and efficient. The dining area is spacious and clean. If you find yourself in the Freehold area, make sure to give them a try! I will definitely be returning.

Regular Fries

Solid three stars. We ordered their two vegetarian options--the bean burger and the veggie burger. Both were okay, nothing spectacular. They needed a sauce or something, and were much better once we dipped in ketchup. The fries weren't my favorite--they're battered.

Bad management was waiting online to order for 10 minutes. Ridiculous. No one came to the register.

I would've never known this burger shop was tucked away in the heart of New Hope if it weren't for…read moremy fiancé's friend. He spoke very highly of the burgers from here. There are no cashiers, but instead several touch screen kiosks laid out for you to place your order. There is a small window where you can visibly see the cooks in the kitchen. I ordered the Veggie Legendary with the Beyond Meat patty. Not kidding when I say the brioche bun makes it better, but overall this is one of the best tasting burgers I've had. It was hard to resist eating the whole thing. The patty had bbq sauce and mushrooms piled high on it. The cheese was melty and the fresh greens oozed out. Fries were hot and crispy. Their table setup is quite interesting - it's like a doctor's office where you remove the disposable paper from the bed after each patient, but in this case, from a table after each customer that dines. We did it ourselves and it was easy. We found seating for 4 pretty quickly, but it may be tricky for groups of 5 or more to find seats together. Cutesy artwork can be found on the walls along with a frame TV that had the Tiny Desk concerts playing. Prices were a little higher than usual, but it is New Hope so that's to be expected. We asked a woman in the kitchen for a to-go box and she provided one right away. The ratings here are accurate! A really great place for burgers and fries.

I absolutely loved our experience at The Burgerly!…read more The ambience was perfect. Clean beautiful wood tables / benches, classy decorations and fun paper to draw on the tabletops. They even had games like Uno! The French fries were huge but still crispy. The Simply Amazing burger was just as it sounded - simply amazing. We loved the fun bottled soda options and the extra sauce variety pack we ordered. The food came out quickly and our server was great. A lovely, easy going experience for a Sunday lunch so I highly recommend giving it a go next time you're in town!

I can't believe I waited so long to come back to Harvest. What was I thinking ?…read more We went out for lunch to celebrate my friend's birthday and Harvest turned out to be a great choice! The location is a little further than we would normally travel, but it was worth it. I loved all the farm to table foods they have. They even nicely promote all the partners they use right on the wall of the restaurant, so you know where all your food comes from. Everyone loved their meals! I had the Thai chicken sandwich and it was so flavorful and delicious. It came with a side and I picked baked sweet potato wedges that were really good and so memorable that a week later I am still thinking about them. Other dishes ordered were the chicken salad and strawberry salad which my friends both enjoyed. Our server was very good and didn't rush us as we were just chatting up a storm. The restaurant suggests reservations which are a good idea, especially for dinner. I will definitely be back and can't wait to put Harvest on my restaurant rotation. Sorry no photos this time... the food was just so good and we were hungry!

Tucked away in a small town, you will find a cozy nook to discover American cuisine…read more Brand: 5/5 Harvest is a small restaurant in Farmingdale specializing in New American cuisine. The entrance stands out in this borough, despite its small size. I do think that sign with the wooden background reflected the cozy interior quite well with a homey style. The country décor on the walls also enhances the aesthetics. Website: 5/5 It wastes no time, for it immediately opens you to the menu where most of the items have their own images. I appreciated the minimalistic design where the understandable font provides you with the information. The basic description of the establishment does say that they rely on locally sourced ingredients. Ambiance: 5/5 Normally, dark interiors would not necessarily work for eateries unless they achieve a cozy vibe; which is what Harvest did perfectly. The wooden walls provide a sense of comfort underneath lights dim enough to not offend the eyes but bright enough to see. Despite the cramped space, I did think that the interior fitted the ambiance, along with the smooth country music playing over the radio. Service: 5/5 The staff was quite jovial and patiently explained a part of the menu. We had no issues with our orders. Wait Time: 5/5 I did wait awhile for the meals, though we managed to get our orders without any interruptions. Food: 4/5 I ordered the Grilled Chicken Thai Sandwich with no additional sides, with a free, complementary glass of water. It has ciabatta beard containing grilled chicken, spinach, cucumbers, and Thai sauce. I do not know if the signature sauce is authentically Thai, but I will say that I could barely tolerate the pungent taste and smell. I cannot say whether it is the feature. Every other part, such as the spinach and the cucumbers, definitely complemented the grilled chicken with a juicy taste. The ciabatta bread buns managed to hold their form, even as the contents started to fall off. Worth The Money?: 2/5 I will say that Harvest brand has as much of a highfalutin status as its prices. While the restaurant reflects the New American cuisine, it does not come off as condescending. Nevertheless, I still thought that the limited menu items just do not help with the prices. For the website, I would suggest a list of all the farms and independent distributors that Harvest relies on for ingredients, and to include a backstory about how Harvest began and where the name came from. I find local-sourcing incredibly important and commend Harvest for incorporating this into their business model. Concerning the food, I will say that the Grilled Chicken Thai sandwich did have suffice within the ambiance. The wait time it took to make the meal was appropriate enough. I will say that the wait time did feel long within the establishment, especially when no one else was around. Nevertheless, the service did make the food worth the wait and the ambiance worth immersing in. With all of this being said, would I say that the overall price would bring me back? Not really. Even the complementary water could not win me over when compared to the prices. Prestigious New American eateries tend to have a focus on specific consumer bases, and I am just not one of them. I do not score low on this part out of spite, rather based on my current station and many other people. I did tip the staff and I did have enough satisfaction with the meal. Rating: 4/5 Stars I do not know how Harvest would carry itself into the future, though I can see how it would suffice as a New American restaurant. Recommend To... Anyone with enough disposable income looking for a quiet restaurant.
