The food was of my garlic bread came out charred on one side and my waiter was barely around us and she kept forgetting it was my dads birthday and I had to remind her it was triable service and all she did was talk to her friends that came in and that's what she did most of the time! We visited on a Friday night and had a pleasant experience. My go-to order is always the fajitas. It's hard to top from other places I visited. I had the steak and chicken with white queso and pico added. I never added the cheese and pico before and for one dollar it was definitely worth it. The service was slower than normal but that's only because our waitress had a large table. They use tablets when taking your orders. I never noticed this before going there but that is a plus. I do enjoy paying on the machine. It def makes a quick turn around. Overall I am happy visiting this restaurant. I am very happy with the quality of the food and service. I can't blame Michael Scott for having work dinners and the Dundies held at Chili's! Great portions, great prices, great taste, and great options (even for a downsizing paper business). Oddly homey but always clean too at this location. Back around Howell where our Applebee's seems to be growing more expensive and remaining at the same quality of food, Chili's holds a "3 for Me" promo for a fountain drink, appetizer, and entree all for one person ranging from $10-15 depending on the entree. Today I got the trio dipper which added a couple bucks to the order, the chicken bacon ranch quesadillas, and a diet coke (like a gentleman). The appetizer given for one person could easily feed a family of 4 (which has been put to the test before, personally), and the meal is quite filling, too. The dipping sauces in the trio are great, and a good reason as to why I grubbed on as many chips as I did today. Also located in a nice area near the Freehold Raceway Mall, and next to a Barnes and Noble store or Jersey Freeze afterward for dessert. read more

Recently I had a not so great experience at another Chili's location so it was a huge surprise to have Chili's contact me and say give us another try. So I did, but here at my usual location. PIC and I ordered our usual dinner the endless chips and salsa, chicken fajitas (rice on the side) for me- and she orders her favorite Margarita chicken dinner and the chocolate chip cookie YES!!!! I have included the pictures so that YOU know what these two main dishes should look like, I mean since these are our go to, we know when it's not up to snuff! My Fajitas were sizzling as they should be-seasoned right and plenty of chicken, lots of guac and soft tortillas, beans yumola and rice on the side- I order my rice on the side. Carrie and Nicki were the two fantastic ladies that were our server and manager and made sure our dinner and every other customers dinner was as they expected and it was like home sweet home! you seriously can't go wrong with the price, quality and customer service and if they mess up, they own it and make it right! and in the oh so many many many years I have eaten at Chili's all ACROSS this Great Nation, I can say that THIS right here folks, is why I stay loyal to Chili's- Customers come first! read more

Haven't been since kids were little but our 17 yr old wanted to go . Ok for apps and burgers. Need to do better on steak made to order. First of all I ordered the bowl- not the cup- and whatever they sent was definitely not a bowl sized serving- way smaller. But that worked out to my benefit because I'm not even sure what I just ate. That was the most disgusting chili Ive ever had in my life. If you can even call it chili. I'm not even sure it was real meat. It also tasted like someone dropped an entire shaker of salt in it. Came here for lunch and the food was okay. Our server was very inattentive and extremely slow to take our order and give us the bill which was a little frustrating. The chips and salsa were very tasty, we just assumed they were complimentary but they are only $5 and worth it! As I write this review of my childhood hometown Chili's, it has a 2.5 star rating. That is baby back bulls***t. Their paper thin, criminally salted chips are as bottomless as my memories. Why would you go across the street to the mall when you can have the "I'm in a mall right now" ambiance that sizzles through this restaurant like a combo fajita? Will each margarita served here be hand-shaken 25 times before it is poured into your glass, like Chili's website says it will be? No. No it will not. Will your expectations be shaken until they are shattered and exceeded? Honestly, almost definitely not. I like it here though. Sometimes. Go ahead and try it. read more

Wow, I actually had a decent meal here that I enjoyed. Bottomless chips and honey chipotle half rack combo w jalapeño sausage sides of corn and broccoli (instead of fries). I would order this again. The meat had that crispy BBQ layer that chipped off at the top. The honey chipotle sauce was just enough and not drenched in some thick overpowering sauce. I really liked it. I also tried the honey jalapeño crispy chicken waffles- sooo good. I had this somewhere else (sugar factory) and Chilis really did such a better job with this. The chicken sliced looked great - thick, white meat cooked just right. Really outstanding meals if you like it a little sweet and spicy. I guess the last time I was here I ordered the fajita and I was lot impressed by the meat or the taste. It was something I loved as a kid here but I guess my taste has outgrown it here. So we decided to give this restaurant another shot. We arrive a little after 8:05pm on a Friday night. Got seated at a table at 8:10. It is now 8:25and still no servers show up at our table. No utensils, no drink orders, no appetizer orders. Nothing. We're just sitting and waiting. I went over to the girl who works up front and told her that no server showed up to our table. She tracked him down and his exact words were "I'm working on it!". All he was doing was cleaning an empty table. So we got up and just walked out the door. Some things never change. Went in on a Saturday night, saw they offered a 3 for 10$ deal. A drink, starter and meal. Got the loaded baked potato soup ( really good) strawberry lemonade which wasn't too sweet which I loved and the margarita chicken which is my go to when going there. The reason I take one star off is that the meal didn't have as thick pieces of chicken as usual , it just had 3 flat pieces of grilled chicken. This is my second time coming to this one and the food was great. 2/19/22 BUT... the atmosphere was horrible !!The hostess Didint even greet us at the stands she just stood there. No hello ! Nothing !!! I had to say something to her. She was to busy on her phone. We got sat in the high top area by the bar . The waiter tired his best but he was all alone the only one to do the seating in the bar area and the bar seating all alone . Lets just say it took a long time to get ANYTHING.
