Photo of menu showing it clearly shows either or is included.

Let me start by saying I've patronized this diner for several years and never once experienced this until ownership and the staff changed. I met someone for breakfast today. We tried to order the one egg platter which clearly comes with either home fries or potato pancakes (picture attached). The waitress (Rosa) tried to charge us for an up charge. When I said the menu clearly says either or is included, the response was well they're changing the menu it's a up charge. When I questioned it again the response was well prices are going up, the menus changing, and it shows a $2 charge in the computer. Well I'm sorry the public can't see your computer. Instead of just honoring what the menu clearly showed she just kept arguing with stupid excuses. I'll definitely never be back.

Stopped in for lunch. The staff was friendly and the menu was typical diner fare. The place is larger than it seems from the outside strip mall look and we were made comfortable before perusing the menu. We ordered a grilled chicken wrap and a bacon cheeseburger. You can't really go wrong with those at a diner and we were not disappointed. There's plenty of other choices to be had if you're so inclined and find yourself in the area. If I'm back in the area I would stop in again.

Good heart warming fast and cozy. Food always looks fresh. Feels like I'm eating at home.

Okay - I gave it another shot and I was impressed. The restaurant was slow but my server was attentive and stopped by my table to ask about my satisfaction. I ordered the Park Ave Eggs Benedict (added spinach and tomato) which was excellent. My home fries were cooked correctly (I asked for them to be well done and crispy) and the eggs perfectly poached. My meal was served in a timely manner. Last, but not least, the coffee was good and topped off twice. Nice turn around for me and I will stop in again.

Walking in felt like going to a carnival--bright, lively, and full of energy. I initially expected a simple diner, but I quickly realized it's much more; there are so many menu options that it was actually a bit overwhelming in the best way. My daughter ordered an iced vanilla latte along with a California omelette, which came with breakfast potatoes. I had a regular coffee and a croissant sandwich with bacon, ham, and cheese. They also have a great kids' menu. My granddaughter had a blueberry pancake with scrambled eggs on the side, and she absolutely loved it. The service was fantastic--our server was very attentive throughout our visit. The ambiance was also perfect for a mid-Friday morning: lively but still comfortable. Overall, a great first visit, and I can see why my daughter enjoys coming here so often.

Fast moving place to say the least. Gets crowded quickly on special event days like Mothers Day…read more We waited for nearly 90 mins. Not my choice to wait. I don't wait for food. Definitely not 90 mins.. My daughter just had to have Brownstone. The worst part of the wait was their system. They do not notify you by text or restaurant pager. They come to the door and yell out a name. If you miss hearing your name or they mispronounced your name, they pass you by. That's crazy considering the amount of names they get and the house doesn't pronounce it correctly The food: All of our order was VERY good. Only complaint. My skirt steak was cooked well, not medium well. But it was not over cooked. Was still tender and delicious. If you can't tell by all the photos. We took a lot of food home. The waitress was really attentive. But it looked like all the staff was attentive. Not over bearing at all. Super busy place. And they only take 1st come, 1st call. But make a waiting list as it gets crowded. The seating was a little tight. And that was throughout the place. Nice menu selections. So we'll be back to try few other items. Clean restrooms which are a plus for me. DEFINITELY would recommend this place.

Our first visit was so positive that I specifically requested to sit with Nick again, and I'm so glad I did. I even brought my twin brother so we could enjoy a special birthday breakfast together, and Nick helped make it truly memorable. Nick is an outstanding waiter--friendly, attentive, professional, and genuinely warm. He made us feel welcomed from the moment we sat down and went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect. His positive attitude and attention to detail really elevated the entire experience and made our birthday celebration feel extra special. Because of how wonderful this visit was, we will absolutely be back, and not just by ourselves--we'll be bringing friends and encouraging family members and others to visit as well. The Skillet Restaurant has earned lifelong customers, and Nick is a huge reason why. Highly recommend both the restaurant and asking for Nick if you want an exceptional dining experience!

We were seated immediately upon arrival (party of 4 at 11:15 on a Saturday!) and ordered a variety of menu options. Loved the variety of the menu , there was truly something for everyone's taste ! The Lemon Orange ricotta pancake was phenomenal and I love that they offer a single pancake (plain or specialty!) as a side so you can have your sweet treat post meal - more places should do this! The Fried rice under the coconut shrimp wasn't cooked super well; this was probably the most disappointing menu item. Their iced coffee can also be ordered to go; I had a black iced coffee so not much to review but the coffee itself was tasty! Loved the decor of the restaurant but it was very noisy and chaotic. Need something to absorb the noise to make for a much nicer experience. Overall definitely would return, especially if eating outside on a warmer day!

To add to my disappointment, the pint glasses were so sticky. I ordered two beers from the bar while we waited to be seated. It was going to be about 44 min which was fine with us since our kids were eager to start playing. I went to the bar to get two pint glasses of beer & not only did it take about 15 min but when I got the glasses they were so cloudy. At first I didn't notice how gross they were while they were filled. I thought my hands were sticky from all the game machines. After a few sips of beer I was grossed out. We continued playing & finally it was time to eat. I pointed out to our waiter about the glasses & our second round of drinks were perfect. He was really nice about it & said he understood. Our waiter was awesome, kept checking on us despite how busy it was. The food itself was so salty but good enough. Next time I'll ask them to please take it easy on the salt. My kids had a great time playing & myself and my husband had a great time playing. Just the service and cleanliness is what I'd like to see improvement on.
