We ordered the following: Western Benedict - two poached eggs over a small western omelette on a toasted English muffin with a hollandaise sauce. She loved that there were multiple eggs on this order and didn't realize that. LOL. She loved it a lot. She said that she never had an omelette inside a Benedict before. Hubs ordered Hamburger Deluxe, which came with lettuce, tomatoes, fries, coleslaw and pickle. He ordered it rare with extra onions, but he got it medium rare. The fries were nice and well done. Hubs said that it was a nice classic diner burger platter. Everything was as nice as it could be. He appreciated the effort making it as rare as possible. Waffles with bananas - this was pretty good. The food and service are fine but the management is not patron friendly and in fact I felt totally cheated on our last visit. I ordered a breakfast special which included coffee. I asked for an iced coffee instead of hot cup and was subsequently charged $3.50 for the glass of ice and coffee. We spoke to the manager who insisted that was their policy. I love coming to diners in NJ. They usually always have great food. My girlfriend and I stopped by this one, since we were nearby. The staff was very nice and friendly. Lots of parking too this diner had. We got seated right away, since it was a Wednesday night. They have so many menu options here. Most diners do. We just tried out 2 different Wraps. Both Wraps came with fries; I added cheese to my fries as I love cheese fries. We had a turkey wrap and a southwest chicken wrap. They were both very good. Nothing spectacular, but a solid wrap. Would of loved to try out some of their other items. But I can't go above 3 stars, since I had better Wraps at different diners. I'm extremely disappointed with my most recent experience at All Seasons Diner II. My family has eaten here before, and my son once had the chicken parm, which was actually pretty good. Because of that, we trusted the place and came back tonight. Unfortunately, that was a huge mistake. This time he ordered the chicken francese, and almost immediately after eating it, he started feeling really sick. Not just a stomachache -- he is currently in the bathroom, and it is coming out of both ends. He's miserable, and we had to cut our night short because of how suddenly and intensely he got sick. It completely ruined our evening. I don't know what happened with the food tonight, but something was clearly off. The meal didn't look right, didn't taste right, and now my son is paying the price for it. For a place we used to think was reliable, this was an awful experience that makes us question the quality and consistency of the food being served. We will not be returning, and I highly recommend others think twice before coming here. Based on tonight, I would give this place 0 stars. This is one of my favorite Jersey diners. When I am back in town visiting family I always like to have a meal here. I am surprised I haven't reviewed them sooner since I have been here more than a dozen times. I had lunch here yesterday and thoroughly enjoyed my meal. I ordered the lunch beef goulash which was super good. The portion was huge. I started with motzah ball soup since that is not something the diners in Maryland serve. I've missed it! My mom had the eggplant parm and my dad had a wrap. They both enjoyed their meals and we all had leftovers. Kim provided excellent service. She was friendly and attentive. Late Review -- I was here last month with my wife & In-Laws. We stopped for lunch, 1st time I had been to this NJ Diner. I went with an open-faced pastrami on grilled rye w/ waffle fries. After running some errands and shopping in the area we wanted to get some lunch. As we were driving around we remembered passing a diner. We did a round about and came back to this diner. Their parking lot was pretty full and it looked busy. Personally, when I go to a diner that I have never been to before I try to order the basics because you can't really go wrong. We ordered a Cheeseburger with fries, Pastrami Rueben and a Gyro platter with fried zucchini sticks . I have to say everything was delicious and fresh everyone enjoyed everything. The Pastrami Rueben was so fresh, tender and delicious plus it wasn't greasy. I would definitely come back just for the pastrami sandwich itself. Fall from Grace! What use to be one of the top diner is Monmouth county has given me my second bad meal with not so good service. We got there for breakfast wasn't really crowded. Half far side was empty. Took about 35 minutes for eggs and my order was completely wrong. Well done home fries were barely cooked omelette and bacon on the side both warm at best. When I asked the waitress she asked to take my order back. I asked her to bring me a new side well done when she returned. She told me that the way they were done the best they could do now the kitchen got busy they were the exact same undercooked. We sat outside in a comfortable seating area. It doesn't doesn't hurt that it was a beautiful day to sit outside for lunch. I like being able to go to a different diner and trying a dish I have not seen in too many places if at all. Today I had the Loaded Caesar Gyro Salad and it was a good dish and also a large dish. Plenty of gyro meat in it. No skimp here. My friend had the triple decker turkey club with bacon and said both the sandwich and the fries were tasty. Thirty pages of laminated promises suggesting mastery of everything from surf 'n turf and a vodka martini to a plain bagel with a tap water chaser. Most diners in the Garden State just can't seem to resist the incessant need to exaggerate their competence and for my part, I can't seem to resist tempting fate. Which brings me to the All Seasons diner in Freehold. Against my better judgement I ordered a steak which unfortunately, I am still chewing. My very sane better half had an omelette which she thoroughly enjoyed. If I were remotely capable of taking my own advice, I would have snickered at their steak proposition and rigidly clung to my standing diner order of chicken salad on toasted rye thereby ensuring a tasty meal from the heart of their wheelhouse. Five stars for fantastic service and a meal that would have been perfect if I had just stuck to the script. read more

The old saying goes "if you don't have something nice to say don't". Unfortunately I feel it my civic duty to WARN customers about the food. My wife and I arrived at the diner last night (I would like to add we haven't been here in 2 years) with great memories of the food. Before arriving, my wife checked out the menu online. All our favorites are still showing, so we decided to go. When we arrived, it didn't look as busy as we remembered so we thought we lucked out. WRONG. The person that seated us did say hello and welcome, but it felt half hearted and a chore to finish and get back to chatting with the person behind the cashiers counter. Our waiter showed up and was a "GEM". He took our drink order and gave us some time to go over the MENU. I'd like to add the MENU is different and did not contain our favorites. The was a typed SPECIAL MENU also given to us with the NEW MENU. We deliberated wether to leave, but since it was after 7PM we decided to give it a go. My wife ordered a combo Lasagna and Chicken Parm, it was dry lots of cheese and little sauce. The sauce was right out of a can with added oregano. They would have been better off using store bought RAGU brand tomato sauce. Horrible. I ordered the Chicken Florentine. It came out BURNT and over cooked. I'm not fussy and was hungry so I gave it a go. 1st mistake. After eating 1 of three pieces given, I notified the waiter and he agreed it looked overcooked. He also informed me they added some gravy on top. The gravy on top was to disguise the condition the chicken was in. I'm of the opinion these were pre-made and frozen or after stuffing them with the spinach mixture cooked to burnt-ville. LOL I should have sent it back 2nd mistake. Our expectations sank at that point and we didn't even complain to ourselves. We were fortunate to have a great waiter and our final foray was the dessert. A word to the owner, not that you care because if you did you would have been more involved with what comes out of your kitchen. I don't know it you answer these feedbacks, but if you do please spare us with "Oh we are sorry to hear.....". Waiter gets PLUS 10 STARS Diner gets MINUS STARS. read more

Recently my good friend and I took a road trip to Freehold, NJ to go to the All Seasons Diner II.  We wanted to go to a new diner and this seemed like a good one. I haven't been to Freehold in a while. Atmosphere: The All Seasons Diner II is a large building located after a bridge on the highway. It stands out. The All Seasons Diner II isn't a shiny, metallic building, but it's a modern building with a large parking lot. Inside the All Seasons Diner II, there is plenty of seating, including booths, tables, and a full-length bar. There is a dessert case as well as a salad bar. The salad bar looked massive, so I knew whatever I ordered, I wanted that. Coffee: The All Seasons Diner II serves the locally brewed Lacas coffee. It was brewed hot, fresh, and the waitress brought plenty of refills.  It was one of the better coffees I've had recently. Food: The All Seasons Diner II menu has everything you can imagine in a diner. In fact, the All Seasons Diner II menu is one of the largest menus of any diner I've ever been too. I wasn't sure what I was in the mood for but the salad bar looked appetizer, so I knew I wanted to order from that. The All Seasons Diner II menu had so many specials, so I decided to order the pork chops from the early bird special. The meal came with soup, salad bar, the pork chops, 2 sides, and bread pudding. It was a lot of food. A lot! For my soup at the All Seasons Diner II I decided to order Manhatten clam chowder.  It wasn't as hot as I like soup, but it tasted good. The All Seasons Diner II salad bar had most everything a salad bar has. There were several different types of pasta salads, green bean salads, and most salad bar toppings. I was surprised the salad bar didn't have olives though, but I'm a big olive fan. In all, it was a good salad bar and one of the better diner salad bars. My pork chops tasted good. They weren't rubbery or overcooked and I liked them--one of the better diner pork chops I've had recently. For my sides at the All Seasons Diner II, I ordered a baked potato and carrots. Something got lost in translation and my waitress brought out green beans. I wasn't that upset because the green beans interested me more. They were in a marinara sauce (which I've never seen them cooked that way.). It was exactly what it looked like: beans and onions in a marinara sauce. It tasted fine; it was just different. Dessert: Since my meal came with dessert, I ordered the bread pudding. The bread pudding came doused in cinnamon. It was good bread pudding; it just tasted like someone dropped a bottle of cinnamon on it. Service: The waitress was friendly and our food came out fast. I have no complaints. Overall Thoughts/Would I Come Back? I liked the All Seasons Diner II and I had a good experience. It's a lot of food and a stereotypical diner. I would go back. read more

I was on the fence between 3 and 4 stars on this one but I'm giving it 3 stars. While our waitress was great and food was good the prices are higher here than other nearby diners. I ordered the grilled cheese and it came with a dish of coleslaw and a half of a pickle. My husband ordered the roast beef sandwich with swiss and it also came with a dish of coleslaw and a half of a pickle. Both were good. I was kind of surprised that neither came with fries. Lunch specials are in the $11+ range but included salad bar and/or soup for the price. Most other dishes on the menu were around the same price. This diner is very popular and a little on the small side so expect a wait if you come at peak times. read more
