We visited Texas Roadhouse today for Father's Day. My adult son and I drove down to visit Dad (80), and we took him and his wife (79) for lunch. They chose the place, and I certainly was willing to go along because I had been to a different Texas Roadhouse and really enjoyed it, so I thought this was a good idea here. It was extremely loud, and I think that might have played into part of the things that went wrong. However, my Dad's wife didn't help things. She had a coupon for a free appetizer and kept insisting it meant a free appetizer for everyone at the table, not just one. I understood it was for one but she was argumentative with the server and a manager. It was ridiculous on her part but I think it flustered the server. Anyway, we ordered. I picked the small sirloin, rare, with Caesar salad and corn. When it arrived it was perfectly rare and quite good. My son ordered the country fried chicken with mashed potatoes. He asked for brown gravy on the potatoes but the regular country gravy on the chicken. When it arrived they had put brown gravy on the chicken. He was disappointed but didn't send it back because he didn't want this outing to drag on. Dad had steak tips with a house salad, enjoyed everything. His wife ordered steak kabobs with mashed potatoes instead of rice. They brought it out on a bed of rice but included the mashed potatoes in a bowl on the side, and she complained about the rice being on the plate. They had bread when we first sat down. I don't eat bread right now so I didn't reach for it, but apparently they didn't include the butter which started another round of complaints. Her free appetizer and her free add-on of ribs were packed to go. Was the food good? I thought mine was. My son was disappointed. I think Dad enjoyed the food. This is only my second time ever had a Texas roadhouse. I love the smell of the bread when you walk in. We did put our name down on the waitlist and got seated shortly after. Got the filet medium well a little dry and would probably try medium next time even though my partner got that and it looked a little pink for me. I did top it with sautéed mushrooms which were good and for a baked potato and the Caesar salad with dressing on the side. Reasonably priced. read more

Good service, clean environment. A bit loud but thats ok. The food for the price point is not bad. The sirloin was juicy. Its char grilled, and has nice grill marks, but the lack of a full sear can detract from some of the savory flavor, however the fattiness and texture of the steak is great. Just a dash of maldon would help. The baked potato, loaded, is pretty solid. The corn was good. The chili good as well, however could turn the heat up on it. The beer was nice and chilled. I don't know why I keep going back. I keep thinking it will get better but it doesn't. Every time I go they always mess up my order. Tonight I went with my family for dinner I ordered a simple burger and fries it came out raw. By the time they came to the table to rectify my meal my family was already done eating. They wanted to replace my meal but by the time they asked to do so everyone was done eating there was no point. They did end up taking my meal off the bill and offered me a free appetizer card but that defeated the purpose because I went out for meal with my family. I asked to speak to the manager again I wait longer just for her to see the raw meat and say ok I'll let them know and walked away. We recently came here after work on a Wednesday evening. We got there around 530pm, which was the perfect time, as we were able to get a table right away. I love that they serve you fresh warm rolls with cinnamon butter. These are so delicious. The highlight of the menu here. Can't eat to much though as they will fill you up lol. For our appetizer, we ordered the rattlesnake bits. This was another great choice. Loved the jack cheese filling inside them along with the diced jalapeños. Now for our main meals, we tried the sirloin steak and ribeye steak. The steaks were good, but nothing spectacular. They were cooked medium, seasoned well, and tasted great. If you're looking for a casual place to have a decent steak, I can recommend Texas Roadhouse. The staff are all very welcoming. They did a nice "Happy Birthday" for a young patron. The service was a little slow, but not to the point of being unacceptable. My rib eye was cooked to the correct temperature. The sides are all good. And the cinnamon(?) butter for the rolls is great! This is my favorite Texas Roadhouse location. It's always clean and the managers go around to every table to see how things are going. All the workers are visible and working all over. It can be very loud but they are always busy so that can be expected. The food is cooked to however you ask for it and they have amazing steaks. The shrimp are also great! Came here on a Friday night and had a short wait to be seated for a group of 4. As always, the bread and cinnamon butter were delicious and several baskets were polished off. We appreciated our server bringing us extras so that we could take some home. I always get the chili and it hit the spot. My cousins felt it was very heavy on the salt and pepper, but it was still satisfying. Unfortunately, my pulled pork entree was horrible. It was not "pulled" at all and resembled large chunks of meat. They didn't have much flavor and the only sauce provided was a small container of BBQ sauce on the side. The meat itself was dry. Typical Texas decor inside service is always good. This is the third time I was there and the ribs were dry.

Place was hopping so we sat at the bar, which had immediate availability. The bar tender was excellent. Ribs, bbq chicken, shrimp with salad and sweet potatoes. The house salad is one of my favourites as it has chopped egg and cheese. The food was really great. Shrimp were delicious but just a little salty. This was my first time ever going to Texas Roadhouse. It was decorated very cute which I appreciated. We got to watch the birthday song and the bull you get to sit on that was very cute. For appetizers we got fried pickles which were addicting. I wish I could have endless amounts of the fried pickles. I got 7 oz sirloin with corn and mashed potatoes. The mashed potatoes were amazing. When I was visiting family in NJ, we ended up going here for dinner one evening in the middle of the week. I was surprised that it was such a long wait considering it was the middle of the week. (I usually go with steak fries and seasoned rice) The steaks are seasoned pretty well, though I would say it is on the saltier side. Service/Environment: Staff is very courteous and attentive. Restaurant itself is pretty spacious, though the wait can take a little bit sometimes if you don't ask for a reservation beforehand. Price: For the amount of food, the price is definitely worth. Steaks usually aren't any more than $25 for the 12+ ounce cuts. Overall: Though some of the food is a little salty for my taste, this place definitely gives you a good bang for your buck. I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of of the beef used in the steak Kabobs. So tender and tasty over a bed of flavorful rice with skewered onions, peppers and mushrooms. My choice of side was a Ceasar salad which was a healthy portion. Usually don't eat the bread before a meal but their rolls with honey butter with magical! I come here when I'm craving a steak at an affordable price. My bf and I frequent this location a lot. My steak is usually cooked right, sometimes a little undercooked but no problem. The time management at this location is extremely poor. I'm not typically a critical person, however, I've been here a dozen times and the last 4 times have made me not want to return to this location. I keep trying, because we love the food and prices. But the staff and food quality have pushed me away. Firstly, I understand weekends are busy. But on a Sunday, You'll book an online reservation and it says "40 minutes" so we show up when it says only to wait ANOTHER HOUR for a table. This has happened to us twice. Telling us wrong wait times. But whatever, we looked past that. This latest visit was my last straw. We get sat on a Sunday night around 8pm pretty quickly. They gave us our bread and butter but no silverware. Those are some butter filled rolls- I need a napkin! Our waitress did not greet us, acknowledge us, or even get us glasses of water for the first 10 minutes of sitting there. They had to do birthday shoutouts at a table near us and across the restaurant. It would have been nice to be acknowledged when she walked right past us and said "I'll be with you shortly" or anything- but no! She walked past us 3 times and we didn't even know she was our waitress. After sitting there for a while, she came up to us and was apologetic. My boyfriend and I are very patient and understanding, so we acknowledged that it was busy for her. Whatever, we order our steak and chicken Caesar salads. I got a side Caesar salad with my steak and asked for extra croutons. The food runner brought out my side salad first with no croutons and no dressing. I was baffled looking at a plate of lettuce! I called him back and politely asked for extra croutons. Then out of the corner of my eye, I see him and the waitress talking and I thought I saw him roll his eyes looking over in our direction. At this point, my patience was fading. This was at least the 4th bad experience I've had at this location, leading me to write this review. When she came back with the croutons, THEN she said they ran out of Caesar dressing, forcing my boyfriend to change his entire order. I understand it's late on a Sunday but no Caesar dressing or any accommodations after ordering two salads with Caesar? Mine was delivered to me with no dressing! When my boyfriend's "ranch chicken salad" finally came out as a substitute- it was the most dry and disgusting chicken he's ever had. Chewing on rubber. The salad was not even TOSSED when it came out to us. I will be leaving this country themed establishment behind. I go here for the food, and that's it. Hi my name is Jamie I had come in here to pick up for me and my friend to eat we were really really excited cause we love Texas Roadhouse but I guess today was not there day we had orders a few things my friend had gotten the burger and fries and I got the chicken tenders with mashed potatoes we also got mozzarella sticks, the rolls with the butter, fried pickles and some dessert I just want to say that the burger was pretty good actually but the chicken tenders came with maybe 4 or 5 chicken tenders and there was no utensils or napkins and the mozzarella sticks were cold and I will say they gave us a lot of rolls which so so so good that's my favorite part but that was prolly the only good part of this dinner. We got the Apple pie and the brownie which is supposed to be HOT btw it was cold and the Apple pie had freezer burn and was litterly freezing. They didn't warm it up or nothing.
