My wife & I always loved a nice Perkins Restaurant breakfast. So, we were surprised, disappointed and a little skeptical when we drove down, pulled into the lot, and realized Perkins was gone and Hangar 36 was in its place. Since we were already there and hungry we gave it a try. Country Sausage Biscuit Platter was always my Perkins goto breakfast. We sat down, opened the menu and there it was.... almost the same identical menu as Perkins, plus daily specials. I had to try it.... Hangar 36 blows Perkins away as far as flavor and freshness. Perkins was a major restaurant chain.... Their quality lacked.... the biscuits were always dried out and relied on the sausage gravy to soften them up. Hangar 36 has fresh everything.... Biscuits were perfectly baked, fresh and delicious. I usually get a plate of fresh fruit on the side... that was fresh as well. I thought maybe, it was beginner's luck...... but I have been back, several times, and they never disappoint. I have tried their Specials too... With the fall season approaching, I would recommend their Pumpkin Pancakes or Waffles. Everything is made fresh. So, if you were a big fan of Perkins, or were disappointed with the quality of Perkins, give Hangar 36 a try..... you will be SURPRISED!! Enjoy read more

Don't order the omelettes. Ordered a western omelette. They got step 1 right, scrambled the eggs and put on the pan. When cooked, put a scoop of peppers inside and rolled it. It was garnished with about 5 pieces of cubed ham. Another ordered ham & cheese omelette. Same thing. Eggs and cheese with a few cubes of ham garnish. Never again. Not for that price. read more

After Perkins closed, we were hoping for a comparable replacement so we decide to check out Hangar 36. Unfortunately, it turned out to be a bit of a disappointment. The service was friendly and gracious. The food fell short on quality and on some items, freshness. Eggs Benedict w hash browns - not good Pancakes- meh Pot roast sandwich w sweet potato fries - meat was so so- French fries were good Caesar salad w crispy chicken - average We were celebrating a belated. birthday and picked the cheesecake. They had no candles, luckily I brought some. Cheesecake didn't taste fresh and was very firm - nah. I wish them well, especially for the staff's sake. They were very kind. Anytime I try a diner I'm always skeptical and I normally stir towards breakfast. My visit at Hanger 36 was not an exception and I had breakfast for dinner. I was pleased to see reasonable prices for once and I thought the amount of food was great for the price. 4 decently sized pancakes, 3 eggs, hash browns, and 4 pieces of bacon for 16 dollars sounded like a good deal to me. Awesome breakfast/lunch spot. We came at prime time on a Sunday and they were able to seat us right away despite seeming pretty crowded. They have booths and regular tables. Our waiter Tony was super nice and service was fast. We gotta the gluten free chocolate chip pancakes and a chicken wrap. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal and will definitely be coming back. They have early bird breakfast specials before 10AM Monday-Friday and lunch specials Monday-Tuesday from 3PM to close. FOR MY GF FRIENDS! : They Gf pancakes were awesome! Served with a choice of potatoes & a choice of pancakes (2), toast, muffin. I chose hash browns and 2 pancakes. It's a big meal so prepare yourself. My fiancé chose the corned beef hash and eggs which also included a choice of potatoes & a choice of pancakes (2), toast, muffin. She chose 2 pancakes. In hindsight due to this large meal I should have chosen toast or a muffin and we could have split the pancakes. But I must say the pancakes were delicious.. The service was great as well. Our server was always coming by for refills and asking if we'd like anything else. I will definitely be going back in. I recommend if you're in the area to stop by. So I have gone back to hangar on several occasions and while their dinners aren't my favorite, there breakfasts are fantastic. Service is always pleasant, coffee is fantastic and eggs and potatoes are delicious. IMHO still a better choice for breakfast, it far surpasses any diner in the area. read more

Tables were sticky the glass doors walking in had fingerprints from last month... Arriving on a Sunday around 1:00pm we were seated right away at a spacious booth of our choice. Not much variety in menu beverage options as I've seen at other diners. Our server seemed distracted throughout our experience and made mistakes on not only our check by including items that weren't ordered but for 2 other tables in our section. We expected a more upscale diner experience given the reviews I'd read and were surprised to find how LOW quality the food was. We ordered chocolate chip pancakes, a breakfast bowl and (not pictured) chicken and waffles. The chicken and waffles were horrible. Greasy chicken tenders on top of a soggy "corn bread" waffle (which was just a regular waffle). The description in the menu was very misleading. I even added two poached eggs on the top and it was STILL disappointing. Mind you everyone has their own opinion about what makes 'good food' but THIS was just awful all around. read more

What a great new place! This spot is in the same location as the Perkins used to be. I have been going to Perkins for many years and was very interested to see what the owners did with this new business, I was not disappointed. My first time visiting was on a Sunday morning on Father's Day. The menu was large with very reasonable prices. I saw some old favorites from the Perkins but revamped to their new style. The potato flip was my favorite and with the new Hanger 36 menu they added a perfectly cut up steak bites. The steak had a lot of flavor and was cooked perfectly. My son loved the shredded potato hash browns. With the breakfast items you still have the choice of the shredded potatoes or the cubes of potatoes as your "hash brown" side. We also tried the pancakes and they were perfectly done. The restaurant was packed and with any place that fills up with that many people it did get a little loud, but not too bad that I couldn't hear my family at the table. Staff was great and this place is managed well. I will certainly be back to try more of their items. read more

Went there for dinner this Saturday and highly recommend!! I had the steak tacos which were gluten free and delicious with the most amazing salsa verde with just the right amount of kick! It was awesome being able to get a gluten free meal where I felt safe eating it! My wife had the shrimp tacos and she loved them as well. I went to the restaurant with my friend on her son's recommendation. We were greeted pleasantly and seated at a booth. I had been in the mood for pesto for over a week so imagine my pleasant surprise upon finding the grilled pesto chicken sandwich as a lunch special! I can't begin to tell you how delicious it was! We were greeted by DILLON our young server. He was the most pleasant and educated person on there menu I've ever met. So PERSONABLE so Sweet. Began with chicken rice soup must have been so old the rice was a total glob in the bowl from the starch just forming a clump- hubby tomato rice same way but he ate it. Paper thin cheese burger that was over cooked. The worst was when a family came in and sat next to my table and this woman smelt like a 800lb dead tuna.
