What can I say about Burger Kraze? Hands down the best addition to the local area in a while. Absolutely desimates ShakeShack which has lost its quality/value and has never been run well from a staff/management standpoint. Meanwhile, owner (Isaac) delivers a personal touch and pride of ownership that is unparalleled. Place is spotless and staff offers phenomenal customer service with a smile. Isaac gives his patrons numerous options. There's the classics done well with high quality ingredients and the phenomenal cultural twists to burgers, chicken sandwiches and even corn dogs. I haven't had a corn dog in forever. This was some kind of tempura-ish fried coating (with a little sweetness to the batter) that I've never seen coupled with a hot dog. I can't wait to go back for the Doritos version. Burger Kraze has already done one promotion for my son's elementary that was a huge hit. The change away from using peanut oil helps broaden the options for those that couldn't enjoy before. Just shows that Isaac has a pulse on the community and that's the touch that you can only find from a local small business owner. The corn dogs taste just like the ones you'd get at the state fair. The potato dog is the standout and makes ordering fries unnecessary (even though the steak fries are good too). The Klassic Dog with Japanese mayo comes in a close second (and if you skip the mayo, I don't trust you). The Dorito dog had great flavor but was definitely too salty; would love to see them offer a mini half-size option for that one. The Rainbow Dog was a miss. The cereal topping doesn't stick well, and the sweetness feels off balance. The burger was fine, but with Hey Burger right nearby and clearly the better burger spot, it's not something I'd order here again. On the bright side, the milkshakes were good; they've got a homemade taste that Shake Shack can't match. I'd 100% come back just for the corn dogs and shakes. read more

Great burger. Unique twist on the sauces too with Korean influence. Thought the chicken batter was a bit thick for my taste but the flavor was solid and moist. The other burgers are delicious and the fries/onion rings were fried perfectly. Would not get another chicken burger because of the batter thickness but the other burgers are unique and delicious. Food is OK. Nothing really special. I had a basic Cheeseburger and Fries. My main knock is the cost. $20 for a burger fries and drink is a bit much for b what it was. Similar to Shake Shack in taste and cost. read more

Amazing corn dogs. We got the ramen, spicy Cheeto, Dorito, and an original. All were awesome! CHEESE PULL was perfection. Fresh and made to order not just sitting under a hot light. Employee's were welcoming and professional. Nice clean establishment, really nice vibe. Will definitely be back to try the fruity pebbles covered one, and their burgers cause they looked amazing! UPDATE: Went back for the fruity pebbles corndog, also ordered a double kraze burger and the onion rings. Awesome! Burger was so fresh made to order, fresh ingredients and awesome grill flavor. In the quest for burger perfection I came across Burger Kraze. This is in the strip mall with Old Village Pub. This is a one off burger and Mochi Dog place ran by a really nice guy who was born and raised right here in Middletown. He prides himself on providing the most wholesome home styled food. The burger is splendid. Crispy chat on the outside and cooked perfectly inside. The toppings are fresh and the presentation is phenomenal. The Cheeto corn dog is great it's a neater delicious dog in a tasty chewy coating and topped with Cheetos there is also a crispy potato and a Doritos version. Guys you have to try this place it's the best burger in town. The dining area is nice and open. Awesome pop music playing and the video menus are beautiful. I promise if you want a burger you will be totally impressed. read more

We visit MSK hospital in the area often and glad we found this place. The place is a little hidden but don't let that stop you. It's worth it!!!!!! Keep up the great food and service!!!! Very good experience here. The smash burger was excellent, made even better by the (largish) patty size-atypical but good for its type. Being brand new the place is spotless, and I'm sure it'll stay that way. Fries are bigger than standard, almost a hybrid steak fry size. Next time I'll ask for them unseasoned, as they use a spice salt not to my taste. read more

This place is a gem for the area! I got a bulgogi burger, the new ramen Korean corn dog, and a cinnamon maple milkshake, and honestly... insane. The burger had super tender beef on top and a really tasty spicy mayo that made every bite perfect. It was sweet, savory, and juicy. For the corn dog, I did half hotdog and half mozzarella. It had a wild cheese pull and was perfectly crunchy. The milkshake was thick, creamy, and the maple cinnamon combo was the perfect cozy touch for fall. What a find! Independent burger joint that is accessible AND has a personality! I should've reviewed this sooner, but forgot! We went shortly after their opening and enjoyed the quirkiness of the food! There's nowhere else around here (to my knowledge) that has anything like it! Service was fast and they have comfortable seating. The one thing that surprised us was the price of their milkshakes, and we wouldn't splurge on them again unless they reduced the price. Tried this new spot to check out the burgers. I only ordered the double smash cheeseburger, plain but with onion straws. As others have said, the burgers were big - but they were not "smashed". More like just a double. I like my burgers medium well but these were overcooked a bit because there was zero juice left in them. Still an ok and filling burger. Would have been a 5 if burgers were really smashed and had some char and juice. Inside is clean and has about 8 nice tables if you want to eat in. Owner friendly. The mushroom Swiss burger was juicy and flavorful, had a nice crispy edge on the smash burger. The whole grain mustard sauce added a nice flavor that you won't find on any other burger joint. Probably one of the best burgers I've ever had, it's like if Koreans made American food (exactly what it is) The meat is cooked perfectly, the toppings go well with it. This is one of those places that you could get a plain burger and it would still be spectacular. It has an authentic atmosphere, and is very chill to be in.
