Nice Shake Shack, seating inside and outdoors, parking lot separate from the rest of the shopping plaza. We got a few burgers as well as the limited-time onion rings. All the burger customizations were right, the food was ready quickly, and the quality was the same as what you would expect from a good burger at any Shack location. I just wish the onion rings were on the permanent menu and not a temporary special. While the food was good, the restaurant did need a little more upkeep - no water cups, toilet paper out in one stall, stuff like that. Small inconvenience, and overall a good Shack experience. read more

The Dubai shake is really good. They only have limited quantities per day so if you're looking to try one, go early. I went at 3:30pm & supposedly got the last one. Service was kinda slow but that's because they were so busy. The place itself is nice cause it's new read more

Brandon C. recommended Shake Shack, and to be honest, I was a bit apprehensive at first. I love a burger loaded with lettuce, tomatoes, and all the toppings, and I wasn't sure Shake Shack could deliver on that front. Driving up was a breeze as it is on Route 9 in the Trader Joe's shopping center complex. Parking was plentiful, so I was off to a good start with my fast-food adventure. I placed my order through the newly downloaded Shake Shack app, opting for their famous ShackBurger, fries, and a milkshake, vanilla & chocolate shake. It should be noted that they do not offer any "value meals" as the fries come separately. After taking a few bites, I quickly realized that calling this "fast food" doesn't do it justice. The food at Shake Shack is fresh, and once you place your order, the app tells you exactly when to expect it. If you order via the in-store kiosk, you have the option to dine in or take out, but the app only allows takeout. The ShackBurger didn't disappoint. It came loaded with fresh lettuce, tomatoes, and a delicious sauce, all sandwiched in a perfectly soft potato bun. I'm picky about potato buns, and I hate when they're stale or cold, but Shake Shack's was fresh and warm. As for the milkshake, it was incredibly thick; so much so that I had to grab a spoon because it was nearly impossible to drink through a straw. Rich, creamy, and indulgent, it was the perfect treat. Madison, a friendly employee, was busy delivering orders and opening doors for customers. Other staff members also kept busy, wiping down tables after customers left to ensure everything was neat and clean. Overall, I was impressed. Shake Shack may be "fast food," but it feels more like a higher-end experience with fresh, flavorful ingredients and excellent service. read more

You need to know what you are paying for here - the brand name. Nothing else. I have never tasted worse burgers. And I have had food poisoning for McDonalds before. They just throw these together. Sloppily. No lettuce, tomato. $10 smashed crappy burger with rubbery buns. Fries are frozen out of a bag. No taste. What read more

I like Shake Shack! Ordered was a ShackBurger, fries and a Vanilla & Chocolate Shake. Cooked to perfection, the Angus beef cheeseburger was warm, with the slightest tinge of pink, topped with lettuce, tomato, and ShackSauce on a toasted potato bun, fries were crisp and warm and the shake was thick and sweet. All were good!! Area was kept clean and the dine-in experience was exceptional due to staff member, Madison, who was attentive, kind and friendly. I look forward to exploring more of their menu. Notes: *If you're dining in, kiosks offers dine-in or take-out options. *App only allows take-out option. read more

This the first time we've been to this location. I ordered the portabella mushroom burger. It was delicious, gooey with lots of cheese. BF had the Carolina chicken sandwich which he enjoyed. We shared cheese fries, which were good and we had chocolate shakes, also good. Yes, prices are a bit high, but once in a while is not a big deal. Service was pretty quick, staff were friendly. Place appeared clean. It was pretty quiet for dinner time read more

This Shake Shack recently opened and I am only rating 4 stars because they only had 1 working kiosk to order from. Other orders had to be placed with the cashier. This location is well kept and well staffed. Food was accurate, service was quick and staff is friendly. They have a good amount of indoor seating, there's also outdoor seating and a drive thru. read more

I came here on the Thursday after they opened Monday. We tried coming the day before, around 7:30, Wednesday, but the line was out the door. The line was still pretty long on Thursday, both inside and the drive through. There are three kiosks to self order from, but only one was working. There's also only one person taking orders, and they aren't available for online orders at this time. Despite all that, it wasn't too long until we ordered and I think less than ten minutes until we got our food delivered to our table. Everyone was relatively friendly, especially the girl taking our order. The food was fresh, the soda slightly flat but that's okay. read more

Great tasting food. Very clean location. Went twice during dinner and wasn't too busy either time. Food came out pretty quickly.

Great burgers. A little expensive but worth it. Drive through a little slow. Communication through the order speaker a little challenging. Even with the few things not 100%, i still buy & Love their food read more

One of my family's favorite places for takeout! I came here a little while ago, I used the drive-thru to order some food. Got up to the window, and the worker said, "We accidentally made two of the same sandwich you ordered. We put the extra one in with your order." Yes! Free sandwich! Who else does this? Never happened to me anywhere else, and I'm sure other restaurants make mistakes from time to time. In fact, I work at one, and we occasionally make delicious mistakes! read more

I don't know what it is but Shake Shack doesn't do it for me. Its not like its bad food or anything but I think there are better fast food burgers out there. I did enjoy the smoke shack. The chicken sandwiches aren't my favorite. Fries also aren't what I prefer. The cheese sauce makes it a little better but not much. Hate to say it but I am more of a Mcdonalds fan! read more

This place is new in the area but definitely a plus the food was good and the customer service excellent. The lounge is clean and the workers are thoughtful checking with you To make sure your experience is a good one . I wish they had combo meals and price alittle high but inflation is the cause. The drinks are very good as well and they offer refills. I will definitely add to to my list of places to go often. Well done thanks to all that made my first experience delightful. read more

Went here on opening day expecting it to be packed but it wasn't that busy. The food was very good and fresh and came out within 10 minutes. Obviously the wait time will depend on time of day and how busy the restaurant is but I was very happy with the food and the service. The vibes were very good and it was a very clean Shake Shack compared to others. Indoor and outdoor seating made it a great place to eat and I definitely recommend going here. read more

They have good food but they always get the order wrong and the food is always cold the service sucks they need to step it up

Contacted Shake Shack, they totally corrected the situation. Amazing customer service. Thank you!

it was busy but overall good service and great food, I waited approximately 20 minutes for my family's order , it was grand opening

Food is OK but not worth the price. I mean almost $20 for a smallish burger, cheese fries, and a small drink. Fries taste like they come out of a bag. Cheese sauce was kind of like melted government cheese. Besides the price, you wait forever for your food. I waited approximately 20 minutes and consider myself lucky as people were waiting 40 or more minutes. Place is somewhat clean. The counter where the ketchup dispensers are is pretty gross! I'd stay away from it. The kids that work there are pretty nice, considering they deal with the angry people standing around waiting for food. read more

I ordered online a burger and the mushroom veggie burger and it was nothing special... the fries were decent and I got the chocolate ice cream which I think was the only good thing. It was my first time trying the Shake Shack but in my opinion is over priced for no reason. Taste the same as Applebees or McDonald's... nothing special nothing tasted fresh.. so I don't know what the big deal is... I would only go back for the ice cream. read more

maddie and sam are the reason for my 5 star review. freehold shake shack has a great vibe inside. the manager sam and employee madison "maddie" are two of the nicest people. they both genuinely make you feel like a valued customer. the burgers and shakes were delicious but i agree with others who say it is way too expensive. the french fries were crinkle cut which i am not a fan of~(you can't please everybody). the burger is definitely different from any other fast food restaurant and it was delicious. the interior is kept super clean and has a great ambiance. honestly, what made the experience most enjoyable was maddie and sam. to both of you~much continued success~you are great at what you do! read more

The drive through is very convenient but it seems coupons etc. received in email from Shake Shack cannot be applied to the drive through. The quality is the same as Eatontown (which seems to have discontinued curbside) and is as good as what I remember at Citi Field. Expensive, yes, quality yes. Missing the 5th star because coupons cannot be used at the drive through. read more

Completely underwhelming. My husband and I decided we needed some comfort food on Wednesday night. Went to the drive-thru and ordered 2 cheeseburgers, 1 order of fries to share, 1 chocolate shake and 1 strawberry shake. $38 and 20 minutes later we were finally at the pick-up window. Burgers were well-done (burned) and the Crinkle-cut fries tasted like frozen fries baked in the oven, no flavor. Shakes were tasty but were served in small cups, not like the shakes at Jersey Freeze. Very disappointing. read more
