I've always heard that New Jersey is the home of diners, so we decided to check out Park Place Diner, and it fit that classic diner reputation very well. When we arrived, we met the owner, and she was very kind and welcoming. She came around to check on us during the meal, which added a nice personal touch. The portions here are huge. I ordered the Asian chicken salad, and even after eating a good amount, I still had half left to take home. Someone else in our group had the Jack Daniels burger, and others ordered hero sandwiches. Everything looked good, and it seemed like everyone at the table enjoyed their food. Service was pretty good overall, and the desserts and cakes in the display case looked excellent like the kind of place that's been around for a long time and takes pride in its baking. All in all, large portions, friendly ownership, and a solid diner experience. I'm giving Park Place Diner 4 stars.

REALLY enjoyed the vibe of this place. Lots of families and happy seniors here, and guess what? The coffee is good! I know the bar is low around here but really it's a pleasure to see. My egg sandwich was tasty and my companion had an egg white "healthy choice" scallion omelet. She says it was "terrific."

Standard Nj Diner Pleasantly surprised with this diner. Large area that seems to have been renovated some time ago. Staff were friendly and super quick & helpful. The steak was pretty decent, a little fatty but cooked to my liking. I always ask for the home fries to be cooked super well, I love crunchy crispy home fries & as most places don't make it exactly to my request park place actually did! Omelette was cooked well & everything was great. Would visit again in the future if in the area.

This place is often packed, both in customers and also nostalgia for those craving an old-fashioned diner experience. I visited for Sunday brunch in a party of four, and we were still seated quickly despite its popularity. Service was great; our waiter frequently checked in on us, and we received the food shortly after ordering. Most of our dishes were excellent, and I personally really enjoyed my breakfast platter. The only hiccup was that the bread itself for the Avocado Toast was burnt, but we were able to get it substituted without any issues. There's a 3.5% surcharge for credit cards, so do keep that in mind if you happen to have cash ready. The restaurant itself also lies on the side of an intersection, so parking can be tricky to navigate if you're coming at a busy time. Overall, I'd say it was definitely worth the visit and tasty.

Park place Diner Restaurant in NJ. Note: buy bottled water. Be aware they cook their foods in same water. OJ - they've got 2 kinds fresh squeezed or made from concentrate. Maple syrup, you can for a fee buy natural. Roast beef sandwich meat rare and pink. Like it a bit more well done , get it hot / grilled. Sides - flexible, home fries don't come with onions but you can purchase a side. Our waitress had been there for a long time. A local diner good for a meal, with others each can order what they want.

Park Place Diner is one of the few remaining local diners of yesteryear. It still has the charm of many late 90's and early 2000's diners where they serve everything from breakfast, burgers, and seafood. Staff has alway provided excellent service and food is served super fast. I think our server was Alan and he's always on top of providing refills whenever he sees we're low. Whenever I want a solid burger and gries with pickles and coleslaw, Park Place diner does it the best hands down. Their burger patties are cooked on an actual grill where you can taste the char. It feels and tastes like summer. I've tried other diners that have fancy modern upgrades and they simply don't compare.

They have a legendary deli counter loaded with subs, wraps, cheeses, soups, sauces, and their famous fresh-baked bread. The butcher counter is top-notch -- and you've got to try the chicken cutlets, they're some of the best around. Their fresh mozzarella is made daily, and the baked goods (bread, pastries, cookies) are always fresh and impossible to resist. They even have a well-stocked pantry section with all the Italian essentials -- from jars of their own house-made sauce to Antonio's pasta and more. You can even grab Nasto's ice cream for dessert! One of my favorite things about DeMARCO'S is their family dinners, which feed 4-6 people and make weeknights so much easier. I tried the Sunday Sauce Family Dinner and it absolutely did not disappoint -- hearty, homemade, and full of that comforting Italian flavor. And if you're hosting a gathering or event, their catering menu is enormous -- seriously one of the biggest and most impressive I've ever seen. Whatever you need, they've got it covered. DeMARCO'S is one of those places that feels like home -- friendly service, fresh ingredients, and food made with care. From the culinary minds behind Heirloom Kitchen, Lita, and Judy & Harry's, this unassuming spot offers a highbrow take on sandwich classics like the Tuna Melt, Meatball Parm, and Italian Beef. In addition to their standard menu, Abramzon and David regularly feature rotating specials and pop-ups from notable chefs. This review is about one of those. After an hour-long wait, I finally got my hands on Nini Nguyen's chicken bánh mì. With bread flown in from New Orleans' famed Dong Phuong bakery--crackly on the outside, pillowy on the inside--plus lemongrass-marinated chicken, crisp pickled veggies, mayo, and a hit of sambal, one bite instantly transported me back to my twenty-something expat days in Hanoi. Yes, it was $18, but for a sandwich that evoked that kind of nostalgia and flavor, it was worth every penny. To wash it down, I grabbed a glass of their iced Banana Bread Chai. If banana bread were a drink, this would be it; comforting, spiced, and borderline addictive. At $6 a glass, falling for their coffee program could become a dangerously delicious habit. Sure, this isn't your everyday lunch spot, but it's good to know that when the craving hits, I can swing by, splurge a little, and let my taste buds take a little vacation.

Bacon was in bits instead of slices. Way too much sauce between the ranch and the Chipotle marinade. Chicken didn't seem seasoned. With that being said.
