Town Square Diner is one of the better diners I've had recently. Their monster shakes are fun but the shake itself didn't live you to the presentation. The potatoes could have used more salt but the dish was what I expected from a diner. Their sourdough bread is huge and I enjoyed learning/reading about their specials while looking at their dessert display. read more

We went here on a Saturday night for dinner. We were promptly seated by a smiling hostess. Our waiter came right over and took our drink order. He was very nice. I never heard him say his name. We placed our food order and we're surprised how quick and hot the food came out. I ordered the French dip panini. It was very delicious. It came with very good fries, Cole slaw and a pickle. There were a lot of fries on the plate. My wife ordered chicken Italiano. She said it was very good. The menu was very large. The restaurant was very clean and decorated with pictures of the Jersey shore. For a nice quiet meal I would definitely recommend the town square diner. read more

We are regulars here. We had burgers tonight which were good but the prices have really gone up. Almost $20 for the Santa Monica burger. Deluxe means that you get fries. It's getting a bit too pricey for me. Sodas are $4. Service is always excellent and friendly. Total for two people-2 burgers and sodas was about $60 (including tip). read more

Not great...maybe it was just what I ordered...but disappointed. Got the chicken bacon quesadilla appetizer for a meal and it was kinda gross..like pre frozen /pre made breaded chicken which was not good and tasted like low quality chicken....plus breaded chicken in a quesadilla? Weird. The cheese wasn't good either...cheap looking and tasting "cheese". I think it was supposed to come with salsa or something too but only got ranch. I ate a small piece...the rest-- took home but nope. I feel like, in general in the past few years especially, that the quality of food at restaurants has gone down but prices are still too high. My husband didn't care for his meal either. Anyway, sorry...but that's my review & unfortunately won't be back. read more

If I could give this place zero stars, I would. Absolutely awful experience from start to finish. We were seated and never given silverware. After the food was delivered we asked immediately for silverware --we had to wait 10 minutes while our food sat getting cold. Eventually, we had to flag someone down just to be able to eat. It only got worse from there. My son ordered waffles with fruit on top, and we were hit with a $10 upcharge for the fruit--something the waitress never mentioned when taking the order. No warning, no transparency, just an unpleasant surprise on the bill. When we brought these issues to the manager, the response was essentially a shrug and an "oh well." No apology, no attempt to make things right--just complete indifference. Hands down the worst diner experience we've had. Save yourself the frustration and go across the street to Park Place instead. read more

Party of 6 around 11 on a Saturday and service was excellent. Food was delicious and they are great with gluten free. For those who are GF they have bread, waffles and pancakes. Hubs and I decided to give this place after getting our knives sharpened. Originally, we were going to go to a Chinese place but they weren't opened yet. We didn't realize that there was a diner in this strip mall. We were immediately seated after arriving. Place was cuter than I expected it to be. When you look at the outside, you wouldn't expect the inside to look festive. Hubs had the Vegetarian omelette, which has peppers, onions, spinach, tomato and mushrooms. He also got rye bread and home fries. He liked it a lot. It was healthy but it tasted pretty good as well. I had the Breakfast Special for $9.99, which was 2 eggs over easy with bacon well done and short stack pancakes instead of toast and home fries. It was delicious and surprisingly fluffy. The bacon was nicely crispy as well. Service was quick and friendly. I'm glad the original restaurant that we were going to wasn't opened yet. Otherwise, we wouldn't have gotten around to trying this place out. Will definitely return to try other items on the menu. read more
