My family loves this place! The food is always good, never had a bad meal there! My only concern lately, at both locations, has been the layouts. The idea that the kids can run around is nice to a degree, I mean some parents think it's okay to unleash their kids so they run around like they're at a park. I saw some bigger kids running around crazy and the parents are sitting there chatting and drinking. Parents still need to parent. Kids still need to learn etiquette, it is a restaurant after all. That's the main reason why we avoid it at times, because I don't want my kids so distracted that they won't sit down to eat. The bags for adults is smart to add, but if you've been going there awhile you get confused because the green space was typically for kids. It's too small to have a lot of activities on top of kids just running around like crazy. read more

My daughter is 12 yrs old. She has been through a traumatic experience in April. Still in physical therapy for her severe concussion. Her eyes weren't focusing at the same time. Mistakenly, I sent her to the Wheaton Eye Clinic. Instead of helping. She cracked jokes on Leah's expense, the whole time. "The girl that pulled the chair from beneath you (Leah) maybe was trying to tell you to wear your glasses." How insensitive. We ordered to go here. I had trouble with their online ordering system which didn't allow for me to set a future time. So we ordered and tried to haul it over there for the food. We got burgers and fries. The burgers were assembled correctly. The single patty is plenty substantial and al the toppings were fresh and plentiful. The fries are thin and salty. They are great! The value for your money is also very good. It was definitely the best burger experience we've had in a long while. I can't wait to come back! Simple concept and solid food. This place isn't trying to be the latest gourmet burger place. It's your neighborhood burger joint - no more, no less. The menu is simple. Which, if that's the direction you go, it better be good, right? And it is. I recommend the double burger with grilled onions. Also, the pretzel. Yes, it's $10. But if someone told you that there was a $10 pretzel on a menu, what would it need to be in your mind? Huge? Check (fits in a pizza box). Lots of sauces? Check. Soft and hot? Check. Beer menu is also good and rotates often. The fries are a little underwhelming, but for $2, they're good enough. The only suggestion I'd make is to add normal sized hotdogs, especially for kids. The $10, foot long, 1lb dog is a bit much, even for the grown ups. Overall, this place will be on regular rotation. The prices are right. The atmosphere is relaxed and enjoyable. Great place. Kudos to the owners for keeping it simple and delivering high quality product in a great space. Great for families. The kiddos loved the grilled cheeses. Burgers were the best I've had in the area: well seasoned, and nicely cooked. The outdoor space was nice, even on a chilly, yet sunny fall day. We will definitely be back. One suggestion - Follow Edzo's seating model and advise people not to reserve seating space until they've gotten their food. It all works out. An aggressive family who arrived while we were waiting for our order to get called hovered over a table that was getting ready to be vacated, and put their coats on the chairs, then got in line to place their order.
