Trashy customers and sub par food. Poor management and never busy for good reason. Better options all over the area.

Great thin pizza and service. Got to chat the owner, nice guy and place just open in August 23. Outdoor sitting in back.

The host was very accommodating and made sure we were seated where we wanted. I ordered the Pitmaster with truffle fries, and both were easily a 10/10. The mac and cheese was a great side, and the fried pickles were the perfect addition to the meal. As someone who gets full pretty quickly, I ended up sharing my burger and fries, and there was still plenty to enjoy. It wasn't very busy when we first arrived, but the restaurant gradually filled up and became quite packed as the evening went on. Overall, a great experience with delicious food and a lively atmosphere!

We tried their award-winning chili, cauliflower tots, two cheeseburger kids' meals, a Wagyu burger (sub jalapeño bacon) with onion rings, and a butternut squash salad w/ steak. The server was very helpful and offered wonderful recommendations, including the jalapeño bacon on the burger. He made sure our drinks were always filled and gave us updates on when we could expect our apps and entrees. Definitely check it out if you're in the area.

Pies are about 10" in diameter, enough for one person plus leftovers; maybe not enough for two. We got the Garden of the Gods; Help Me Cheeses; and Lemon Capri (sliced lemon, olive oil, ricotta). The thick crust is basically focaccia and it's delicious; you also get the crisped cheese on the edges that you do with Detroit. The Garden of the Gods was also good (tomatoes, green pepper, onions, mushrooms) as was the 3-cheese, which my friend raved about. Service was friendly and they didn't throw us out as closing approached, which we appreciated. We were inside and it was pretty quiet as it was after 9pm. I see they bill themselves as a sports bar; guess I didn't realize, which for me is a good thing. Anyway, pizza is delicous, priced reasonably, and they have 5 vegetarian specialty pizzas plus plain cheese, so I'll definitely be adding this to my downtown restaurant rotation. Menu also features some tasty looking dips and a tomato / mozzarella salad, hmm!

We went on a Friday night; there was a band playing and a $10 cover for the backyard. Eating in the restaurant did not have a cover, though. They have Detroit and New Haven Style pizzas. I thought they were very good. I wouldn't rant and rave, but it is a very nice addition to downtown Wheaton and we will likely be back!

Update 2/2026 Proof…read moreNo. 5 has officially become one of my all-time suburban favorites. I've been here many times for brunch and dinner, and it truly never disappoints. This visit was extra meaningful because they quite literally saved my birthday evening. We had reservations at the new Bien Trucha in Wheaton, only to arrive and find it closed... with no notice. Not exactly festive. Enter Proof No. 5, swooping in like the culinary hero of the night. We enjoyed an exquisite tuna crudo, rich and beautifully balanced, and meatballs over polenta that felt like comfort dressed up for a celebration. The medallions with mushrooms and three sauces were excellent, layered, and deeply satisfying. And the cocktails? Some of the best crafted in the suburbs. Thoughtful, balanced, and dangerously easy to order a second. Warm atmosphere, consistently great food, and a team that delivers every time. We'll keep coming back. And back. And back.

Found out this place is closing soon and really sad I can't try all their dishes. Shared the Whipped Feta with olive spread on naan bread and gluten free bread. Really delicious and light and creamy. Had the wagon rider non alcoholic cocktail. Hint of raspberry and lime. My main meal I had the roasted beets salad and added salmon. Had the right amount of dressing. There were air dried and roasted beets. Get the crunch from air dried beets and pistachios. Also had a Light sweet taste. Have option to add steak, salmon, or chicken. Choose the salmon and was cooked perfectly. Very flaky and moist. There is free parking on the streets and not far from the parking garage.

Old Town Pour House surprised me with how vegetarian-friendly it was for a sports bar…read more We tried the pretzel bites, Kung Pao cauliflower, Southern Mac & Cheese, a flatbread, and finished with the skillet cookie and ice cream. The Southern Mac & Cheese was probably the standout for me -- creamy, with a nice kick and crispy onions on top. Portions across the board were very generous, so it's definitely worth keeping that in mind before ordering too much. We had a really nice evening here. There's plenty of space, TVs everywhere, and the whole place has that lively sports-bar energy without feeling cramped. We were there while the IU-Northwestern game was on, so it was especially fun if you enjoy watching a game while eating with friends. The overall experience felt relaxed and easy, which makes it a good option for meeting up with a group. Between the dedicated vegetarian section, big portions, lively atmosphere, and game-day setup, it's much better for vegetarians than I expected from a traditional sports bar. And definitely save room for the skillet cookie.

We were seated immediately and sat outside. It was kind of chilly but we were next to a fireplace and a little later they turned on the burner stands. Our server stopped by a few times but we let him know we are waiting for a few others. When all of us were there, he took drink orders as we looked over the menu. We eventually ordered our food and the server was great with answering our questions. I ordered a combo meal with grilled wings and ribs. I requested just flats for the wings and he accommodated. I got French Fries and mashed potatoes. The wings were good and I dipped it in the habanero sauce. The ribs were tangy and had some meat on the bones. The meal only came with 4 wings and 4 ribs but it was plenty and I was full at the end. Maybe it was double the carbs. I enjoyed the food and loved catching up with the guys.
