It has what you expect in a place like this. Cheap booze and fried greasy bar food like wings and crap. The best things are the slots and TVs for basic entertainment. Came in for a bit. It wasn't busy but it felt crowded because the place is small. The crowds are kind of rough but they usually don't start fights and thankfully I haven't seen any yet. Beer is the best thing on the menu. It's $2 for a typical draft and they have the basic shit like Miller and stuff. There's usually a few taps not working. Such a dive bar. The food is basic fried and greasy stuff. It doesn't have Irish food. They do occasionally like on St. Patrick's Day and so. Get some cheap ass beer. It's your best bet, including on the slots. Irish whiskey because we felt like getting lucky. That's on the gaming slots, get your mind out of the gutter, pervert. Both of us got Jameson to be precise, with ginger ale. It's $5 a pour. The food wasn't memorable so we forgot mostly about it but it was just okay. About the only thing not meat was the Pretzel Bites. It's $9 for the normal price. This is $6 for when it's happy hour though. Okay but nothing that special about these other than just something to munch on while talking and gaming. The rest of the menu is stuff like lamb and pork. It looked like typical fried bar food. Nothing surprising since it is in fact a bar. The ambiance was the worst part for me. We were there for karaoke night and it was like all the jocks came out to play that night. Not my cup of tea, but I'm sure some of their other patrons may enjoy that crowd. The song books for karaoke are sticky and nasty. From a great perspective, I was sitting in a chair and went to move and felt something poke me. It was a pair of random scissors! On this coldish Wednesday winter evening, it wasn't as busy and boisterous as our previous visits, and that was just fine for our usual catchup party of 3.  Sam was our fine and attentive server and she adequately took care of the whole dining room on this night. Arriving at 5:30pm, we took advantage of Happy Hour and had 6 beers by 6pm for $5 each.  We also had a cheese curds appetizer for $10 (discounted from regular $12). I had my usual 3 beers for our catchup session, namely: - Moreover hazy IPA, 6.5% ABV - Mango Double Marbles Imperial IPA, 8.0% ABV - Appetizer hazy IPA, 5.5% ABV For food, I had their chicken tikka masala platter for $22.  My colleagues had a high steak sandwich with salad ($20), and an Italian Beef with fries ($18).  All were delicious.  There is now a 3% credit card fee.  Overall, still one of the best Chicagoland brewpubs around.
