This is a decent place , the food is really fresh and taste is on point. The service is nice and inviting for a late night ale place. The ambiance is typical bar style with pool tables. Worth the try!!!

This neighborhood joint is a short hop from Oak Brook Center. A cozy and friendly haven, the attractions here are exceptionally good food at remarkably down-to-earth prices and a calendar populated with entertainment and fun events. It's not a huge place, but on a Saturday evening when you can't squeeze into most Oak Brook restaurants without a reservation or enduring an hour+ wait, there is ample parking in 2 lots, and a few tables were available upon our arrival. The bar offers a goodly variety of craft beers on tap and in bottles featuring Midwest brews. Compared to other neighborhood watering holes, their menu is more extensive and offers more options. Fries come with sandwiches, but for a modest $1 upcharge you can substitute tater tots, onion rings, soup, or salad. I ordered the Santa Fe chicken sandwich. This was one of the tastiest grilled chicken breast sandwiches I've had lately, and the enormous beer-battered onion rings were among the best. Ditto for my Missus' burger and fries. We boxed up some of our meals because we absolutely had to share an order of cronuts (a cross between a croissant and a donut) for dessert. Four pastries were artfully plated around a centerpiece of vanilla ice cream. We didn't expect to find food of this caliber here. The kitchen was backed up and there was a fair wait for our meals, but our server was wonderful. Live entertainment - a talented vocalist with karaoke accompaniment - began around 7:00, so we lingered. Y'know what? We prefer Manny's food and genuineness over Oak Brook's overpriced and pretentious national chains.

Fish Tacos, Chicken Tacos, Steak Quesadillas. Sorry, I didn't snap the picture prior to us digging in.

This menu is fantastic!! The food is excellent & the presentation is top notch! Everyone is ALWAYS friendly & welcoming! Great place to become a regular! because unlike so many places now a days, they actually remember you when you walk in. I highly recommend you check this place out for yourself!!

If you're looking for a quick bite, sips or a leisurely afternoon of playing pool and picking up easy conversation with strangers - Manny's is where neighbors and travelers alike gather. Beer offerings are perfect from ales to s'more stout. The menu is eclectic to say the least, take a food tour from Chicago to Mexico and hop over to Greece in a sitting- always order a side of fries, they get it all right. I'm looking forward to Friday night karaoke. Above all, Manny and Kim were the faces behind the bar for my experiences so far and they made me feel at home. They're not trying to be hospitable, they are hospitality at its finest. Check them out!

Okay! Let me just saw.. I was NOT ready to be THIS impressed. I started off with the spinach artichoke dip; the waitress commented it was "to die for" and she wasn't wrong! Almost wanted to lick the plate but ya know.. Covid... My husband got the Tuscan sandwich & I got the Santa Fe sandwich. Honestly so good and fulfilling with every bite. DEFINITELY making this a new date night regular! Can't wait to try the rest of the menu! PS: idk what they put in that chicken noodle soup but, it was magical !

Very kind bartender, carol! Came after 12:30 so it was pretty empty but that's alright when you're on your lunch break! Lots of specials and even have Bears football specials. I mean nothing crazy special about the food but I guess when you've been drinking, everything tastes good! Will come back soon!

Saturday lunch. Bar area. Nice, comfortable restaurant.

The bar staff is always friendly, quick and attentive, and it's always very clean. But for the life of me, I cannot figure out what goes on with the food selection in this place I've been coming here for probably about 10 years and they have had probably as many themes. Between a palace of bacon and then not and then partially bacon and then bacon and vegan, and then just vegan and regular pub fare. It's close to the house so I will occasionally stop in for a beer and something after work. Usually, I will get a chicken Caesar wrap because that's pretty much impossible to screw up, but once in a while, I will have a taste for a burger and after all, this is a bar...and I've had bad bar burgers at bars all across the country, they usually are at least serviceable. Not here. Each time I order one I remember why I go back to the chicken Caesar wrap. Newest exhibit being their new Smash-burger. I selected the pretzel bun so I knew it was not going to be a typical smash burger but when the patties come out like gray school cafeteria burgers without a trace of smash or crisp to them, I'm not sure whoever created this menu has ever met the kitchen staff. Generally a Smash-burger should be a homogenous congealed mass held together by good will and melted cheese. I cut this thing in half and it fell over like a Jenga tower. The buns are consistently pretty stale. I can't imagine if burgers are this much of a gamble...how are entrees like pot roast? Who is even ordering enough of these things for it to be fresh when it seems like everyone's getting sliders and nachos.

We stopped in for dinner on a Friday night and were able to snag a table in the busy place. We setup in a cozy corner and began looking over the menu. Our waiter stopped by and we immediately knew he was going to be top notch. He was so friendly but very chill and seemed like he was reading our minds when it came to suggestions. After finally deciding, we placed our order and were impressed by the speed at which our food came out! It was fast for a sit-down restaurant! While we devoured our meal, which was INCREDIBLE by the way (I had the meatloaf and it was delicious!), our wonderful waiter continually checked in to see if we needed anything (but not to an annoying level). Then the manager (I think?) stopped by and even the owner (which I found out who he was later) asked how things were. And it wasn't a check-the-box, they were genuinely interested in making sure everything was to our liking. The restaurant/bar-ish is a bit of a mix. It has a bar feel but is right on the cusp of being something more upscale. And they should embrace that because their food and service level support something leveled-up! On the way out I tapped the owner on the shoulder and told him what an amazing time we had - he appreciated it. We'll be back here again, many more times!

I've driven by this place hundreds of times and never noticed it. I'm so glad we got to stop in. The staff was super friendly. We split the smoke meat quartto and had leftovers to take home. What a great combination, we really enjoyed it! The restaurant itself is lovely, with a great looking outdoor space as well. I can't wait to come back and try more of their offerings.
