The best meal in a long time. The fresh ingredients were on point. Chicken sandwich was juicy! Best cheese curds ever! Will definitely be back! All three of us were impressed. read more

Our server was fantastic and gave us some great recs! We had the cheese curds- delicious, hard to go wrong with fried cheese :) We didn't love the dipping sauce. I think a good homemade ranch would be great with these. The Best Dam salad with grilled chicken was light, fresh, flavorful and had lots of great components like candied pecans, quinoa, spinach, goat cheese, dried cranberries and green goddess dressing. This was very good! It was a very nice space and we had a comfortable booth. It has an elevated lodge style that we enjoyed. read more

Service was the worst I've received in a while. We were seated and after a long time waiting I had to go ask where our waiter was. When she brought our appetizer places didn't even look at our table or us, her attitude was highly unpleasant. The food was ok but I for sure will not be going back. The waiter needs an other job, can tell she hated it. read more

Was in the area so came here for some food, drinks and to watch baseball. The wedge salad was good, although too much blue cheese chunks! The shrimp with the buffalo sauce at first tasted good but then was shrimpy-fishy. But the ambience was very cool and the staff were nice and attentive. read more

We decided to try this place out for lunch based on reviews and images I've seen on my local parents page, and boy am I glad! The restaurant wasn't super busy for lunch, but it's a great space with parking and is easy to get to. Service was impeccable and so friendly! The food was delicious! Definitely stick to your ribs and well made and presented. The ambiance and decor was fun. I especially enjoyed the thoughtfulness behind putting a word search on the bathroom stall door. Hilarious! I'll be back to support this locally owned establishment! What a treasure! read more

Our service here was really great! Shout out to our waitress Genesis, she was wonderful. It was a nice place to bring a big family and was kid friendly. It was casual so we didn't need to dress up, but it still felt like a nice night out. The food was pretty good, too. The menu had nice variety so there's something for everyone. read more

Food and service were great. The restaurant is huge and there were several large screen TVs showing different sports. When I came for dinner on a Wednesday, there were plenty of tables open and no wait. Badger burger $18 - Big juicy burger. Beef Terderloin Kabobs $26 - Beef was tender. Bloomin' Pretzel $21 - Comes with cheese dip and mustard dip. This pull apart pretzel was stuffed with cheese and big enough to share with 5-6 people. Birthday cheesecake - Complimentary .|\---/| | @_@ | ..\_^_/..2025 read more

Driftwood Grille is right up my alley. The whole place is decorated like some kind of hunting lodge. The Badger Burger ($18) is awesome and totally slayed my hunger. (Half Pound Angus Patty, Applewood Smoked Bacon, our house made Wisconsin Beer Cheese Fondue, onion straws, pretzel Bun) I came here with my kids and they were happy with the menu as well. I would happily go back for that outstanding burger and a fun atmosphere. read more

Driftwood Grille - Badger Burger - Outstanding! - Sports Bars Near Me - Oakbrook Terrace, Illinois

I was originally looking for this spot because I was interesting in finding a brunch with a slightly different menu, since I have lots of friends who enjoy brunch and it can feel a bit monotonous at times. This spot certainly provides that, as familiar items have a special twist or elevated ingredients to provide a more unique experience. Fortunately for me, my visit met all my expectations and more. This spot is fairly large, with plenty of parking -- something that can be an issue with busier brunch spots, particularly with all the cross traffic. On this visit on a Sunday, we were seated fairly quickly and the spacing between the tables was fairly good. We weren't rushed to order and got water refills at a fairly good pace. While not the cheapest, the menu is pretty in line with the more premium brunch options nearby -- with better than average preparations to match the pricing. After trying the delicious food here like the super rich amaretto buttercream stuffed croissants, comforting orange marmalade buttermilk pancakes, and well balanced chicken and waffles -- I'd actually happily pay these prices to be guaranteed a quality dish. Though the portion sizes weren't exactly the largest, it made it for it in the quality of the food -- a lot of it being in the execution of great textures and the complexity of the flavor combinations. If the rest of the menu reflects the same level of quality, I'm excited to come back another day to try their entrees - though the unique dessert options that include incredible sounding options like bananas foster bread pudding, smores skillet, and a mix of dark chocolate mousse and ganache are another reason to make a special trip. Overall, wonderful breakfast experience and I can't wait to come back and try more dishes here with my brunch loving friends. read more

My husband and I met some friends at Driftwood Grille. It looks like a wilderness cabin on the inside and outside. Our server was nice and friendly when explaining our appetizer and drink options. My husband and I ordered off of the weekend brunch menu. I ordered the pancakes, while my husband ordered the Nutella croissants. When our order came, our sever noticed that one of my pancakes was burnt before I could notice a problem. Not only did they replace my pancakes but they also comped the pancakes. I like a business that stands behind the quality of their products. This alone will earn them another visit! All of the rest of the food was excellent. I highly recommend Driftwood Grille! read more

My wife and I visit Chicago every year to see our grandchildren. While here we spotted this place called Driftwood Grille. The place is a hidden jem and is great if you enjoy sports or simply crowds. We were greeted by a server named Jake. Jake welcomed my wife and I as he went on to seat us. We both ordered the Driftwood burger and fries along with two diet cokes. The burgers were cooked medium along with fries being crispy and salted perfectly. The waiter Jake, was doing more then one job. He was polite and courteous with exceptional customer service skills. We also had the cheese steak egg rolls which were exceptional. A establishment is only as good as its staff and service. Jake, made our experience memorable and pleasant. I would have given this place 5 Stars but the lighting was a little to dark to read the menu. Diffinately Two Thumbs Up. read more

Driftwood Grille - Sports Bars Near Me - Oakbrook Terrace, Illinois

Let me start by saying that the building that houses this grill is divided into 2 separate businesses. Driftwood is located at the southern most part of the building. There is only 1 door to enter. Hostess stand is immediately when you enter. There is a bar area to the right and the dining area is to the left. There are at least 4 TVs in the dining area turned to different sporting events. They were offering October specials which sounded very good. Our food came out of the kitchen quickly. First time I ever had a turkey BLT on a pretzel bun ~ but it worked. My husband enjoyed his wrap and the French fires were done perfectly. Very casual and the food is good. read more

Driftwood Grille is a restaurant located in Lombard Chicago. During my week stay at Lombard for an event, on a Tuesday evening, our group had reservations at Driftwood for 5:30 P.M. Driftwood Grille's current hours are the following Sunday - Thursday: 11:00 A.M - 10:00 P.M Friday-Saturday: 11:00 A.M - 12:00 A.M Happy Hour is from 4:00 - 6:00 P.M Monday - Friday! Brunch: Saturday and Sunday from 11:00 A.M until 2:00 P.M! This restaurant is absolutely stunning! There is a fireplace with several dining areas within the restaurant. Plenty of TVs are situated throughout the restaurant on the walls! The menu consists of a wide range of salads, burgers, sandwiches, chicken sandwiches, salmon, chicken, steak, and so much more! I wasn't too hungry Tuesday evening, and ended up just ordering their Yardbird. The Yardbird is a crispy fried chicken breast, cheese, slaw, pickles, on a brioche bun. I ended up opting to leave off the slaw on the sandwich! The fried chicken sandwich also had French Fries on the side. Several members from the group ordered a variety of appetizers and drinks prior to the entrees. The entrees arrived to our table about an hour and a half later after placing the order. The fried chicken sandwich was delicious! The sandwich was relatively large! The breading was perfectly crispy and wasn't burnt. The cheese was a great addition to the sandwich and the pickles were super yummy! I would order the Yardbird again! Unfortunately, I didn't get a chance to order the dessert - S'mores Skillet. Next time I visit the Driftwood Grille, I'll be ordering dessert first! The S'mores skillet looked amazing with the roasted marshmallows, milk chocolate, and crumbled graham crackers! read more

I got off from work today and decided to have dinner at the Driftwood Grille with one of my best friends from high school. The restaurant has a cozy log cabin ambiance with plenty of tv screens and open spacious concept. The customer service was extremely friendly, welcoming and efficient. We ordered the following items for dinner: ~ Buffalo Chicken Dip ~ Badger Burger w/ Sweet Potato Fries - Five Cheese Mac & Cheese w/ Chicken ~ Side of Sweet Potato Fries - Belle's Cheesecake Honestly everything we ordered was great but the Buffalo Chicken Dip was my absolute favorite! Food is actually good here but I've never had good service outside of the bar area. Bartender Mike is the best , servers here are the absolute worst especially if you are sitting outside. I've eaten here about a dozen times now and literally there's been an issue(s) at least 10 of those times. We don't like sitting in the bar much because of those stupid slot machines so every time we sit at a table like nobody knows who's taking us. No one tries to figure it out either. Last time we ever go back after being neglected on the patio for 45 mins. Do better Driftwood!! read more

So.. we drive past this place all the time. Never think about it. Never went in. Went out with some friends on a Saturday night. Everywhere else was packed but this place was fairly empty which at first worried me. I wondered why, was the food not good? Is the service bad? It was a group of 9 of us (10 with my lil baby) and we were seated right away. Our waiter was attentive and kept up with all of our orders. Best part... My food...... was soooooo good. I asked the waiter if she liked their truffle fries or sweet potato better.. she chose sweet potato. She was so right. They were fresh and crispy with a maple sauce on them. The burger was tasty. Bread was nice and crunchy but not too hard. Garlic aioli was great! I definitely want to come back. I still don't know why this place was empty read more

First visit at Driftwood; was on the list of places we wanted to try. We were not disappointed -- loved the food, Paloma was the best one I've had and cannot say enough wonderful things about our server - Genesis (A). Beautiful decor and a cool looking space. We were seated on the restaurant side- the bar side looks a little more casual. It is a loud space though, but not much can be done about that. The restaurant was busy, however our server really hustled and promptly took care of us. She was attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. Our food took longer than expected due to a very large private party- our server did let us know when she took our order. Great beer selection, portions were huge, and food was delicious. My husband ordered the Saturday special, prime rib, and it was massive and cooked exactly how he wanted it. We'll be back next time we're in the area to try their burgers. read more

Unfortunately last 2 visits were horrible, we ordered the Blooming Pretzel Loaf it had barely any cheese and was burnt, I got the Brown Butter Gnocchi but what I got was Not So Brown Butter, it wasn't Brown butter at all just a half a bowl of nasty yellow oil, I also ordered the all you can eat fish fry and got 3 tiny pieces of barely warm, grease saturated floppy fish, put in the second order and 15min later 2 tiny pieces of cold, 3rd order came out 20min later with an apology on the time it was taking but unfortunately it was the same cold limp fish been seeing a down word spiral hopefully management can do something to bring back up food quality control...... Also they need to bring back the Sazerac it was one of the best I've had and the last 2 bartenders couldn't make it read more

We had high expectations for Driftwood, they obviously came up short. Although, the service was very good. There were 11 of us so we had quite a mix of food with mixed reviews. The skillets, burgers were good. The French toast was okay. The rest was an epic failure. The biscuits and gravy came out cold, even the eggs were cold. We sent them back and it was obvious that they reheated them because the eggs were rubbery and the gray was very salty. The buffalo chicken wasn't even edible. We also had some bloody Marie's. They were very weak. At least the ice tea was good. Not sure I would give this place a second chance. read more

Every meal I've had here has been terrific. The atmosphere and service is great! A must try.

Came here for work a month ago and loved it, usually if it's good the first time it never is as good the second time. Nope- again good service, great interaction. Shrimp appetizer was darn good, although not sure why it was served on mashed potatoes. Weird- but was still delicious. Went with the wedge salad- really good. Liked the bacon and amount of blue cheese. And a couple of nice cold beers. Would totally come again next time in town. read more

Quite the surprise stopping in here. Had never heard of it but in the area and looking for someplace to stop for lunch we stumbled upon it. The decor is really the highlight! Just pulling in to the parking lot you get the feeling you are in the north woods of Wisconsin. The decor carries over inside with signs and decor to match! The food was outstanding. The Badger burger was amazing and already looking forward to getting it again next time we are in the area. My only complaint was the beer selection seemed pretty weak but depending on what you like to drink they do have several options. Overall a fantastic stop and one that I would recommend everyone try! read more
