I can only really speak for their Happy Hour, but that alone is worth a visit. A group of 10 coworkers decided to head out for drinks after work one day, and after much contemplatio,n we decided on Brooks. Not only do they have happy hour every day, but they also have daily specials. I truly do believe we ordered two of every bite we could on the HH menu. It was all fabulous! It came out in a timely manner, drinks kept flowing, and it was shockingly affordable. , With all the items we ordered, we were quite surprised to pay under $40 a person, including a proper tip. This is definitely a restaurant we have at the top of our list for next happy hour. I'm also looking forward to experiencing a full meal here, if they do apps that good, I'm sure their other options won't disappoint.

Blackened Chicken Tortellini and Short Rib & Mushroom Flatbread

We stopped by for a quick dinner before heading to the United Center for a game and hit the spot. We were early so the place was pretty empty but the food and service were excellent so I'd imagine during normal meal hours it would be busy. For food we had the Blackened Chicken Tortellini (spicy, big portion, filling and delicious) and the Short Rib & Mushroom Flatbread (crispy, perfect for a meal or shared appetizer). Food came quick. Service was attentive and helpful. Tables and bathrooms were clean.

Happy Hour Review! Brook's Kitchen & Tap is located off Butterfield Rs on Meyers Rd in Oak Brook. The inside is nicely designed and separated into three areas: bar, main dinings, additional dining. They also have a large outdoor patio area off the bar. I came on a Tuesday for Happy Hour with a group of five. I started with an Old Fashioned off their Happy Hour Menu. Overall, it tasted good but wasn't your typical presentation. My friend got the House Marg and was happy they could add flavors to elevate the taste. Within our group, a couple of people split a bottle of their Freakshow Red Blend as it seemed to be the best value on the reds list. It was very tasty and I would definitely get it again! For food, we got quite a bit of different appetizers to share. Portions were appropriate to the happy hour pricing sections. Our group's favorites were the Classic Bruschetta, Steak Taco, Burger Sliders & Cheese Curds. Overall, this was a great spot to enjoy catching up with friends. The happy hour prices were very fair and it wasn't crowded when we visited. Our server did a great job tending to us and didn't push us out since we stayed a while. Tip: Happy Hour is EVERYDAY from 3-6pm!

Haven't been back in a while and I decided to take a short ride back to brooks. The menu has changed a little bit due to change of a new chef, we sat at the bar having good service and conversation with Harry the bartender. The bar is well stocked and great lighting, TV's placed where you can see almost any place in the restaurant.... We kept it simple and just had some drinks and an deep fried Italian beef egg rolls a burger and a salad which was very tasty

I haven't had a bad meal and experience here. I've tried various dishes from the handful of times that I've dined at Brook's. I've always been satisfied and happy with my orders. The salads are fresh and all other dishes are tasty as well. Service is consistent and solid. Parking is easy and the place is always clean. Brook's is always a great choice for delicious food and good drinks. 'Til next time!

Salmon with risotto

Awesome place! Had salmon risotto, and it was one of the best meals I've ever had. Loved the presentation, flavor, etc. service was great! Very good beer selection. If I lived nearby, I would be here all the time!

I was meeting a friend of mine who lives at near by apartment complex. We came here for dinner and it was very cool vibe - we just hung out with drinks and food. Everything was delicious and our server was also very nice and friendly. Vibes were fantastic!

Absolutely love this place. This place has amazing food. Bacon wrapped brie was so good. The chef came out a couple of times and asked if the food was good. Amazing Service top-notch my Cosmo was great. Seriously this place is cute especially with the Slot machines. lol definitely will come again and love the fact that they have TVs. So you can watch a game. Come check this place out!!! You will not be disappointed!!

Brat Plate. Amazing.

The food here is consistently above average to excellent. Occasionally one of their seasonal items misses the mark a little bit, but 95% of the menu is flawless. Good portions, always fresh and priced fairly compared to similar gastropub type places. I do have a small beef with a recent fry change. They had these amazing fries that were like a curly fry version of a fat steak fry. Perfect portion and different from the norm. They've recently switched to a more typical fry, they're good...but they were perfect. Service is friendly and attentive and it's usually pretty calm inside. They always seem steady but rarely packed so you never get the over crowded feel our high levels of noise. Excellent beer selection. Nice amount of styles and seasonals.

Apple Pie

First time here. Just Googled it, and it had decent reviews, so I thought I would try it. Me and a Group of 3 others. Nice restaurant even had an event going on in a different area, a bridal shower, I believe. Has a bar but not overly sportsy feel. I had the Italian beef egg rolls. They were fresh and hot but they kinda lacked flavor to me. Now for my main dish I had the shrimp tacos. Straight . The sauce on the side was great, took the tacos to the next level. The apple pie is decent, good, not great, it was really sweet. They have an apple crisp that comes with ice cream. I would definitely recommend this place. And will go back. Fun Fact: I'm here now for the 2nd time as I write this review.

This was over eight dollars for four pieces of bread.

Situation on a busy corner in the downtown Lombard, this restaurant is pretty tiny but certainly hold its own. I ordered the brie and apple sandwich. The bread was fresh and the flavor combo was absolutely delicious. Even the side salad deserves recognition. It was simple but surprisingly flavorful with crispy lettuce. The fries were also excellent, and I was especially happy to see they serve aioli with them. Yum! The restaurant is housed in a charming historic building with a small interior and an expansive outdoor patio that's dog-friendly. Parking can be a little tricky when downtown is busy. Given the limited seated, I imagine wait times would be longer when the weather isn't kind or during colder months. The prices were very reasonable, especially considering the quality of food. I look forward to returning or grabbing takeout. Definitely a great, if not the best, little spot in downtown Lombard.

Mildly sweet beer. -chicken wings 5 - the chicken wings has flavor even without the bbq sauce. They are nicely grilled then lightly fried. The meat is very tender and juicy. -holy grail pizza 5 - the crust is cracker thin and crispy when it's hot. The pizza has a lot of flavor. You get some mild heat from the jalapeños and hot honey. Then, the mozzarella and ricotta cheese help cool your tongue. Everything is well balanced.
