My family eat here for lunch after shopping at Yorktown Mall. The menu is big, there's something for everyone. I like the pulled pork sandwich, hamburger, chicken sandwich, tuna sandwich, salads, sweet potato fries and other food items. The staff is great. There's a lot of seating and parking. I like that it is near the mall.

I came to The Patio in Lombard with high expectations. The space is big and bright, surrounded by glass windows. It's casual more of a no-frills diner than a cozy spot but clean and comfortable for a laid-back meal.Has the patio feel as the name suggests. We ordered two full slabs of the traditional baby back ribs, which came with mashed potatoes, bread, and coleslaw. I also had a Caesar salad. The salad was tangy but forgettable the croutons were far too hard. The ribs? Just okay. The sauce was solid, but the meat was dry and thin--not fall-off-the-bone like I hoped. I've had better. Still, I might give it another shot. Based on other reviews, the pulled pork sandwich, chicken kabobs, and Italian beef sound more promising. I also want to try the sweet potato fries and maybe a slice of their homemade chocolate or carrot cake next time. Service was adequate.

Visited today because the smell from outside was sooo inviting! lol This spot is a little different but cute. When you walk in it's almost like a cafeteria feel. You browse the menu, get in line to order then find a seat. They give you a table number for your order. The drinks are self serve. The food was really quick and really good! I got the combo and the was enough for 2 people! I am definitely leaving with a carry out for lunch tomorrow! Tor the amount of food, the pricing was reasonable. They have indoor and outdoor seating. The entire establishment was very clean and the workers very nice. Will definitely be back to try another scrumptious looking dish!

Very comfortable dining room and very friendly service. The food was very good. Nothing jumped out as spectacular, but it was all good.

Tuna Melt - A triangular grilled cheese sandwich with tuna filling is placed on black-and-white checkered paper.

Fast service and delivery of food to table. Large portions (too much to eat all at once). Restaurant has nice large open area for dine in service.

Rock hard ribs - A close-up of a large, saucy barbecue rib on a plate, accompanied by French fries, with a dark wooden table background.

First the cashier could not count the cash I had given him- he counted 3 times and each time said it was $130.... Finally I said to give me the money and I showed him how to count and it was $140. The beef brisket everyone got was ok, little tough but did have good flavor. The ribs were horrible! Very tough, hard to even pull the ribs apart. Will not be back.

BBQ Beef Brisket no sauce, broccoli substituted for coleslaw, and baked potato. - A meal featuring sliced beef brisket, steamed broccoli, a baked potato, and a bread roll on a white disposable plate.

Was able to get brisket without BBQ sauce. Substituted coleslaw for steamed broccoli. I have a restricted diet so gluten and dairy is a no-go. Brisket was a bit dry, but otherwise very good. I just wish they offered it with some of the brisket juices. I was very happy I could find something to eat with my dietary restrictions.

this is a side of overpriced coleslaw - A black plastic cup filled with mashed potatoes and a blue plastic fork, placed on a dark wooden table in a restaurant setting.

This spot got the best ribs ever highly recommended. Especially when there are no other spots nearby that cook ribs

Excellent BBQ! Large Portions. I usually get the pulled pork sandwich. Weird spacing between the drive through windows.

The bar staff is always friendly, quick and attentive, and it's always very clean. But for the life of me, I cannot figure out what goes on with the food selection in this place I've been coming here for probably about 10 years and they have had probably as many themes. Between a palace of bacon and then not and then partially bacon and then bacon and vegan, and then just vegan and regular pub fare. It's close to the house so I will occasionally stop in for a beer and something after work. Usually, I will get a chicken Caesar wrap because that's pretty much impossible to screw up, but once in a while, I will have a taste for a burger and after all, this is a bar...and I've had bad bar burgers at bars all across the country, they usually are at least serviceable. Not here. Each time I order one I remember why I go back to the chicken Caesar wrap. Newest exhibit being their new Smash-burger. I selected the pretzel bun so I knew it was not going to be a typical smash burger but when the patties come out like gray school cafeteria burgers without a trace of smash or crisp to them, I'm not sure whoever created this menu has ever met the kitchen staff. Generally a Smash-burger should be a homogenous congealed mass held together by good will and melted cheese. I cut this thing in half and it fell over like a Jenga tower. The buns are consistently pretty stale. I can't imagine if burgers are this much of a gamble...how are entrees like pot roast? Who is even ordering enough of these things for it to be fresh when it seems like everyone's getting sliders and nachos.
