Cheese curds

Amazing beer, food and patio/beer garden! Came by today with our pup and sat on the covered patio! My husband and I shared a flight (plus a couple) and our favs were the strawberry blonde and I loved the fruited sour! We got a bunch of food to share and everything was delicious! The pretzel and beer cheese was our fav - but the cheese curds were great! And the chicken sandwich and burger too! Love finding a dog friendly spot and so glad it's not far from home! We'll be back!

Super cute brewery in what looks like a remodeled/repurposed house. Smaller indoor seating area but great backyard/back patio space! We tried the chicken sandwich and their bacon & guac with the chicken instead of hamburger. Delicious. Also tried the Artichoke dip which was yummy too. It's counter service or QR code to order. food came out quick and bartender was nice.

I've passed by Wolfden many of times and have only heard good things about it. My husband and I decided to venture in to check it out! The inside is a cute cabin feel with large bar, (2) seating areas, and a cozy larger group table by the entry fireplace. On the front patio, they have a couple of 2-4 person seating groups; but out back, they have plenty of additional seating for all size groups. We decided to sit at the bar and thoroughly enjoyed talking to Mariam & Jack working. They told us the stories behind the fun knick-knacks found around the inside, made great drink recommendations, and were just simply had great energy! We decided to try the Coffee Old Fashioned & Midlife Crisis. The Old Fashioned had more subtle coffee flavor but was well balanced. The Midlife Crisis was recommended and may have been one of the better Malort drinks I've tried. It wouldn't be my regular go-to but was fun to taste. Wolfden does plenty of events & W Th & Sun Specials. They are extremely dog friendly with having an off leash area and dog items on menu to buy. Additionally, they try to add a new beer to the rotation every 1-2 weeks. I really loved my experience here and will happily be back to enjoy more soon! Would highly recommend stopping into Wolfden when in the area!

Great bar tender, I got to sample a lot of different beers. Good selection of beers. Very nice place, the porch out front was very quaint and the seating out back very good for larger groups. All in all this is a very good place to go!

We had Jeremy and Miriam as our bartenders! They did a wonderful job while wearing their shrek ears. Definitely had a home vibe. Big back yard for people to hangout with their dogs. Ended up buying two white crewneck sweaters which Jeremy found in the closet. Thanks again buddy! Super friendly place. Would recommend.

Burgers "newer" on the menu (I'm a bit out of the loop) and they perfectly fit the space. Felt like I was eating a back yard burger expertly cooked by my favorite uncle right before he hit his High Life threshold, instead of some bougie monstrosity with 14 toppings. Great beer selection and always friendly staff. Still the coolest brewery space in the burbs.

Very cool place. Once you cross the threshold you feel like you're in a cozy cabin in a small town. Decor and vibe is outdoorsy cabin. Outdoor porch offers comfortable seating. We were there for a party. Our friends had reserved a separate bar space a few stairs up from the main floor. We ordered food and drinks at the bar but had privacy and comfortable seating in the event space. The pretzel bites, which I don't usually care for, were delicious, hot and buttery. The gluten free hummus and veggie appetizer was a hit. The pizzas were very good. My favorite was the Italian beef and gardenia pizza but the mushroom/truffle pizza and the pepperoni were also great choices. There was a lot of variety in the beverage menu. I tried a raspberry paczki beer, but really enjoyed the lavender lemonade. The beer selection was great and everyone enjoyed the evening. The establishment even allowed us to bring a celebratory cake in.

Heard so many great things & had high expectations for my first visit only to be let down. This place is small & brews were average at best. Came on a weeknight with a friend who also heard the same. Wasn't busy at all so we sat at the bar & tried a few offerings. He tried to order a BA option but was told they only tap on weekends, bummer. Nothing special, don't know if I'll be back.

Ask the Community - Wolfden Brewing Company

Are pups allowed on the patio?

At this time, we have decided to make the beer garden 21 and up, as well as no dogs. Sorry about that!

Could anyone confirm if dogs are welcome inside the brewery? I'm planning a day in the winter to visit. :)…

Hi, unfortunately due to the health depts rules, we are not able to have dogs inside because we serve food. We are working on closing in the front porch and having heaters out there so we can still have pups come during the winter :)

Not sure what was going on with the system they had going for the patio this most recent visit, but it was bad. I think the management needs to reevaluate whatever they had going on. They do not have a host, so customers basically just go up to the patio and sit wherever they want, which is nice only if the restaurant can handle that. No one was cleaning the tables after customers left. I watched about 4 groups of people sit down at dirty tables, and they sat there for like 15-20 minutes with no acknowledgement and no one coming to clean the dirty tables from the previous customers. They had to get up and ask someone themselves for the table to be cleaned. There were maybe 2 or 3 waiters and maybe 2 or 3 food runners, and it still seemed like they were all overwhelmed. I don't think it should have been as complicated. Not sure who even was our waiter because they kept switching. One runner kept bringing food and drinks to wrong tables, and claimed she was confused because they changed up the patio seating so maybe that had something to do with it.
