On this coldish Wednesday winter evening, it wasn't as busy and boisterous as our previous visits, and that was just fine for our usual catchup party of 3.  Sam was our fine and attentive server and she adequately took care of the whole dining room on this night. Arriving at 5:30pm, we took advantage of Happy Hour and had 6 beers by 6pm for $5 each.  We also had a cheese curds appetizer for $10 (discounted from regular $12). I had my usual 3 beers for our catchup session, namely: - Moreover hazy IPA, 6.5% ABV - Mango Double Marbles Imperial IPA, 8.0% ABV - Appetizer hazy IPA, 5.5% ABV For food, I had their chicken tikka masala platter for $22.  My colleagues had a high steak sandwich with salad ($20), and an Italian Beef with fries ($18).  All were delicious.  There is now a 3% credit card fee.  Overall, still one of the best Chicagoland brewpubs around.

That's a good thing, but it can also become overwhelming when you're trying to decide on what to drink. I don't think I've ever eaten here, so I think they more or less offer bar snacks. I've never had bad service here. Although you may have to order your drinks at the bar if you're sitting at one of the tables. The times that I actually sat at the bar, the service was obviously better. The servers know their beer menu and can hold a good conversation if it's not too busy. It's a great place to stop in and enjoy a pint with friends and play a few rounds of darts.

Staff here was very friendly and you can sit and enjoy your beer at the same time if you wanted to. Prices were actually really well! They always have a crowd and that's expected because there's not many other great places besides this. A lot of beers to choose from. There's a pretty great variety and they always rotate. Beers are the main thing of course. It's got a pretty surprising amount to choose from. There's a lot of these on tap. More in cans. Pretty great variety. A lot are IPAs but there's a few others. It's about $8 a pint. Kind of a lot but they make smaller batches of these. Best one we had of these was the Hazy In The Name Of. This is a New England Hazy IPA, a classic style. Made with citrone and nectaron hops. There's notes of citrus, lime, passionfruit, and peach. Has a few things to munch on. It's about $7 for the Knotty Pretzels. Comes in a big bag. These are a great combination and big enough for sharing. For sure there's lots of great beers. It's actually open daily which is especially rare for a brewery to be honest. They sometimes have food trucks.

The on-site parking lot is quite small, but other business lots and street parking is available nearby, especially during events. I tried a sample of their light pilsner and purchased a 12 ounce prickly pear sour. It had a unique flavor to it and wasn't too tart or sour, as I find some to be. I would like to return and try the cranberry sour and German, dry pilsner. Perhaps after "Dry January!" (Hello Mocktails). I did not order any food but I do plan to return and would like to try some of their menu items. I enjoyed sitting at the bar with others and our server was delightful. I have also had their wheat beers which are tasty. Inside the brewery there is a cozy feel and the singing cook in the kitchen was fun to listen to, as he had a nice voice. The staff started out seeming pretty unfriendly. Since everything is generally ordered on your phone (though you can go to anyone and order instead), there isn't a ton of staff interaction. But after I engaged with the bartender and started talking whiskey, he opened up and was more friendly. My main issue is the price point. Their tap beers are $5-$10 for just 5 ounces. The food is similarly steeply priced. If you come here for dinner and drinks, expect to drop $100 for 2 people, no problem.
