They were not condescending or eager to get on to higher-value customers. Don't let the small size of this store fool you... this place is PACKED with merchandise and more importantly it's packed with friendly and knowledgeable staff! Arrived on a Friday afternoon without an appointment and only waited in line for 15 minutes or so. Went in with some general and more specific questions and Brian impressed the hell out of us with both his selection of merchandise and his knowledge of all of the pieces and rules associated with them. He was friendly, efficient and incredibly helpful. We ended up leaving with something that we have been trying to find for months at other shops with no success and 2nd AMENDMENT ZONE had it hanging on the wall. I'm a first time gun owner and I've been shopping around (online mostly), I reached out to the most common places, ammo bros, turner, bass pro, and I was left disappointed and discouraged...however upon further research I stumbled upon 2nd amendment zone. I send a text as suggested when you call, and they got back to me within 30 min. They answered all my questions, I then proceeded to make an appointment on their online platform. An appointment is not needed however in the limited times of COVID I would recommend it. My boyfriend and I both had to take the firearm safety test to get certified so they have you arrive 15 min before your appointment. After taking the test we were helped by Gary, which was very informative, helpful, and efficient. He was patient, attentive, since it was my first time my father was with me and Gary answered all of his questions as well. I ended up purchasing my first handgun. Needless to say I will be back and hope to use them for all future firearms purchases. read more

If you're within 100 miles of this location, it's worth it for you to come down here and make them your go-to FFL. Brett and his wife have a passion for not just the business but being 2A advocates who are actively involved in the latest and greatest. They hired employees who have a similar passion and aren't just pushing folks to make a quick sale or get you out the door. The place can busy but that's cuz they're worth it. If you're a seasoned, experienced individual, you can zip in and out. If you're new to the whole thing, they'll take the time to help you along (within reason). Here's the real important thing to remember! Just because they're strong 2A believers, don't put them in an awkward position (can't you skip the 10 day? Do you have full capacity mags? Can I skip the certificate? Can someone else buy the gun for me?).
