As someone completely new to upland bird hunting, walking into a shop like Pacific Sporting Arms can feel a bit intimidating. Luckily, I ended up working with Rex, and he made the whole process easy. Rex didn't try to oversell me or throw around confusing jargon. Instead, he took the time to listen, explained how shotgun fit actually works, and guided me right to the perfect gun for my first foray into upland hunting--a Caesar Guerini Ellipse Curve in 20-gauge. The fit, balance, and quality of the over/under are incredible, and I couldn't be happier with the choice. Whether you've been shooting for decades or are just starting out like I was, do yourself a favor and talk to Rex at Pacific Sporting Arms in Azusa. You won't find better expertise or service anywhere else. read more

Pacific Sporting Arms - Guns & Ammo Near Me - Azusa, California

The best place in socal for shotguns the prices are fair and the selection of both new and preowned is amazing

This place is amazing! I just got into trap a couple months ago and will hopefully do other clay sports soon. Was kind of bummed going to the sporting goods store in Vegas so decided to do it right and make the drive to Pacific Sporting Arms (7.5 hrs round trip.) Worth it. Absolutely. I wouldn't buy a pair of shoes or a set of golf clubs without trying them first, so why do it with shotguns? They have tons of options. Worked with Rex and Jordon who were both great. Gave them a quick breakdown of what I was looking for and Rex laid out a number choices, both new and used. I was really happy with the whole experience and these folks are incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and dedicated to their craft. I also learned a ton about shotguns while there. Go here and not your big sporting goods stores. read more

A friendly, knowledgeable staff. And a terrific inventory. I only wish that I lived closer.

Highly highly recommend Pacific Sporting Arms! As a petite woman, it's nearly impossible find a good fit on a shotgun at the big chain retail stores. This is the only place I was able to shoulder shotguns that actually fit me, fantastic selection! We truly enjoyed our time with Rex, who was incredibly helpful, patient, and seemed to be enjoying the process just as much as we were! Do yourself a favor and check this place out, it's worth it! read more

Things don't always go according to plan, that's when customer service takes over. Jordon and his staff are top notch, would have no problem purchasing from them again. read more

If you live in Southern California, there is no better option than PSA to meet your shotgun needs. The staff are incredible and the commitment to service is amazing. I have a teenage son, and we've relied on the PSA team to introduce him to all that we need to enjoy trap, skeet, sporting clays, and upland hunting. We feel part of their extended family, and when we have questions we get all the necessary information to continue enjoying both field and sporting opportunities. Could not offer a stronger endorsement... read more

This is the premier shop on the west coast. They had the best deal on my new shotgun without haggling or anything. Great web site too, you see the gun you are buying, not a generic pic of it. Staff was super nice and helpful. read more

Anyone old enough to remember the Pachmayr showroom on Lake Avenue in Pasadena back in the 1980s or the Abercrombie & Fitch in Manhattan in the 1970s will get an idea of what Pacific Sporting Arms is like. I thought Jaqua's in Findlay, Ohio was the last American showroom with super premium shotguns and that employed people who understood and appreciated them. I was overjoyed when I discovered Pacific Sporting Arms last year when I decided I finally had the time to get back into shooting clay targets. I visited PSA's beautiful showroom three times was helped by two salesmen who were patient, knowledgeable, and kind, allowing me to shoulder many different makes and action types before I made my final selection. The purchase experience can truly be described as pleasant, and that is saying a lot. I'm looking for a reason to return soon. read more

If you are a fan of premium high quality shotguns, this place is like Disneyland! They've been here for 20 years, but I only went for the first time. Please note that they do NOT sell any handguns or ammo. While I was there, many people called to ask. I repeat NO HANDGUNS OR AMMO. This is a clean, well-organized store. Parking is easy since it's in a light warehouse district. You need to be buzzed in. When I went in, Rex was very helpful. He answered all my questions patiently and expertly, since he was a policeman for many years. He even offered me a cup of coffee while I looked around. Jordan, the store manager, was also very helpful with my purchase. Most of the guns are shotguns, but there are a few rifles and various accessories like clothing, vests, cases and other equipment. There's a small used section. These guys are absolute experts at shotguns. They have high reviews on various websites and a wide variety of premium brands. Some of the inventory is super premium heirloom quality Long Stock and Two Smoking Barrel stuff...like up to $50K for one! I plan to come back, but these are aspirational multi-generational standards. You'd be lucky to have any of these pieces willed to you by a relative. They're probably investment grade and will appreciate over time. I know everyone is freaking out during these challenging times, but please do your research. All information needed is on public government websites regarding FSC and ID requirements. STOP CALLING ABOUT HANDGUNS AND AMMO. On my second visit, I learned that they add all the used inventory to their website and FB. IG is probably coming next. Thank you Rex and Jordan! This is an absolutely beautiful store one can be proud of. I look forward to coming back when I can afford something better! read more

Went in to inquire about a fire arm and spoke to Rex. As a new shooter walking in can be a little intimidating. From the moment I walked in the entire staff was professional, courteous, very knowledgeable and just a bunch of good guys. I did not end up purchasing a fire arm that day but I will be back to purchase one just from the experience I had today. Five stars all the way around read more

I thought I already reviewed Pacific a while back but I guess not since I can't find another entry. Anyhow.... I heard that Pacific Sporting Arms sells and stocks the most high end shotguns in Southern California. When I mean high end, I mean shotguns that start about $3500 for a Beretta and it goes up to 60k+. Most shooters know of this place (and Phillips Wholesale for reloading) because sport or field shooting is a different type of shooting than target, urban or miliary. It requires a more "sophisticated" sales and support model in a more "comfortable" selling environment. Anyhow, John, the owner is a champion shooter and this store reflects that. If you're in the market for trap, skeet, or sporting clays gun, you must do yourself a favor and come here. Famous for: Best high end shotgun store in Southern California. read more

As a young hunter I came into this store with my uncle and was mind blown. I have grown up around guns all my life but seeing the beautiful shotguns that lined the racks of the store was amazing. As we looked at the different types of shotguns we were met by Jordan who made us feel welcome, really listened to our questions, and provided great customer service. A++++ read more

Massive collection of some truly beautiful and rare firearms. Staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Helped me fit my new shotgun, and were more than willing to teach a new shooter about the basics of chokes, their uses, etc. when asked. They even helped me get a new choke wrench when we realized my box didn't have one in it. My brother in law ended up purchasing a pre-owned gun, but I'll surely be back to personally pick something new up in the future. Great store. Great people. read more

Wow, this establishment is A+ !!! I went there today for the first time to buy my retirement gift to myself. It started with a phone call the day prior while meeting over the phone and speaking with Jordon. He helped me find a very specific Beretta o/u shotgun that I have been searching for. He was the friendliest, most knowledgable and the utmost professional dealer that I've ever encountered when buying a firearm. (And I've been buying firearms for nearly four decades). The experience, the friendliness of the entire staff (Rex) and the No-pressure attitude among them was fantastic. Immediately upon walking in through the front doors, the staff treats you like a friend. This company is really a pleasure to do business with and I shall return. One last thing ...the vast collection of fine shotguns, drillings and rifles there is phenomenal and a sight to see! They nwill have that fine shotgun you're looking for. Thank you Pacific Sporting Arms West! read more

Let me start by saying this, if you're looking for hand guns or tacti-cool guns, this is not your place. However, if you are looking for a wonderfully curated selection of high end shotguns along with a knowledgeable staff, this IS the place to shop. The shop is well appointed and comfortably laid out. It reminds me of a nice clubhouse at a country club. I spoke with both Jordan and Ken on the phone at different times and both were extremely helpful. This store is a good 50 miles from my home.... and after my experience today, I will drive there for all my shotgun purchases. I was greeted by a friendly staff who was more than happy to share their wealth of knowledge and experience with me as I was trying to decide between which firearm I wanted to purchase. These guys have great prices...I looked all over and nobody had comparable prices or selection!!! I'm kinda glad they are far away from me, otherwise, I'd be in this store much more often spending $$$. read more

I recently visited this store with a friend who is this in the market for a new O/U. I'm all stocked up on shotguns at the moment and just bought a range bag. But I was extremely impressed with their inventory, store layout, and the extremely knowledgable sales associates. This is not a discount store though, so if you're looking for a $500 Remington pump or something, probably best to go elsewhere. Great selection of accessories, vests, etc. too. read more

I think I just found my new gun shop! The two times I was there I was helped by three different people with questions and advice, and all were very helpful and precessional. Beautiful shop with an awesome staff...... we even exchanged some hunting stories. read more

Called this place with a question because one of the gun companies online listed them as an official dealer in area. The guy picked up, listened to my question and... hung up on me. Yes, it did not get disconnected, he just hung up. Now I see reviews saying that they dont sell pistols and ammo, in addition it looks like they also lack manners and simple customer service. read more

I've bought 3 shotguns from them and had one transferred in here. Its always a pleasurable experience dealing with Ken and Jordan as they definitely know what they are talking about and couldn't be a nicer pair of guys. The place itself is off the beaten path a little bit but is totally worth the drive. All SoCal trap/sporting/skeet guys know about this place as its the only one of its kind in SoCal. Highly recommend. read more

I have purchased several firearms from Pacific Sporting Arms. I have always had a great experience and support from them. Fantastic experience. Spoke with Jordan about consigning two high end items, a Mauser hunting rifle and a Beretta shotgun. Jordan set clear expectations on the price range we could realize and how long the items could take to sell. Both sales fell within expectations in terms of pricing and timing. Communication, service and experience were all 5 star. read more

I was searching for a high end used trap shotgun. A friend recommended Pacific Sporting Arms and after checking it out on-line, my wife and I made the 4 hour drive to check it out. The minute we walked into the store we were blown away by possibly the largest selection of the finest quality firearms in the world, a spotless store with amazing shotgun displays and a very professional sales team - especially Jordan. They listened to what I was looking for and proceeded to show me Krieghoff, Beretta, Caesar Guerini, Kolar and finally a beautiful Perazzi. They let me handle these world class guns and talked about the pros and cons in detail. I had always dreamed of owning a Perazzi and this almost new shotgun did not disappoint. I thought this dream gun would be out of my price range but Jordan worked with me and while far from cheap, we were able to reach a very fair price. I have been back a couple of times to inquire about maintaining the gun and to buy accessories - always top notch service. The Perazzi has been perfect and the more I talk to other Perazzi owners, the more I realize what an amazing deal I was given. Thank you Jordan and thank you Pacific Sporting Arms !! read more

A knowledgable staff and a superb array of shotguns -- but how often do you come away from a business encounter thinking hey, these are really honorable people? I went in thinking I needed a custom stock, and in about 30 seconds Ken showed me how to hold my gun properly. He could have sold me something expensive and chose just to give me good advice -- and I have huge respect for any merchant who will do that. So, of course, I bought a new gun... Well, I saved money on that custom stock, didn't I? read more

Visited Pacific Sporting Arms during their Open House and spoke to different reps about different kinds of shotty. I went back again during regular business hours again and spoke to Jordan. He was extremely knowledgeable and was able to work with me to get what I wanted. One time he was busy with another customer but at least he acknowledged me first to indicate that he knows my presence. Like all previous reviews, they carry all high end brands such as Perazzi, Kreighoff, Blaser, Caesar Guerini. They also have average brands like Beretta, Browning, and Benelli . You get what you paid for. They do have a corner which sells used and cosignment guns if you're not ready to buy new. Very organize and has the best selection I've ever seen. They also carry accessories and gears for different brands. read more

I call this the candy store of shotguns. If you are a experienced shooter or interested in getting into the sport this would be the place to start. Jordan and his team members are all experienced shooters of different levels. Their is no pressure to buy a gun. I appreciate the freedom to look around. Their stock of guns is amazing. Don't let the term high end gun store stop you from going in for a meet and greet. Yes their guns range from $750.00 to $100,000.00 but the knowledge they offer is worth the visit. For the lady shooters it is not a total Man's Cave. The Motor cycles are a nice touch. Yes, I bought a gun and plans for another. read more
