Had a great experience with previous work done with the Glock 20SF so I came back because I wanted to build a custom AR-15 . Edgar helped me pick parts for a high-end level build and this was my first build from scratch so he walked me through what parts to get with recommendations for a premium AR-15. The shop can special orders for lower receivers and parts like the stripped OD green Radian lower receiver I chose for this rifle. I would recommend coming in if you are interested in doing a custom build and need help or looking for parts that require special order, especially with it becoming more difficult with California laws to order.

Please pay these guys a visit. Unbelievable customer service and top notch gunsmith. My pistols red dot had a screw head break off, while leaving the rest of the screw stuck in the slide (see picture). I stopped by to drop off my slide to see if they could fix it and they fixed it on the spot. Took maybe 15 minutes and it was done. I dont know anywhere else that offers on the spot gunsmithing. This isn't even the first time I've seen this level of customer service. I had a different pistol slide cut for a red dot and they called a few hours later to let me know it was complete. Dont miss out, visit this shop and see how they can help you.

Harley and Sean were awesome, they helped me Cerakote the 9mm barrel for my 1911, and the whole experience was simple and fast. Very helpful, easy to talk to, and just good people all around. If you're in the SGV and looking to cerakote, pick up a new piece, or grab some parts, this is the spot to go.

Precise Armory was recommended to me by a couple of employees at a local range. I called PA to get pricing for stippling and slide cuts, was asked to email pics of any specific design I wanted. I got a quick reply with some quotes and set up an appointment to drop off the frame. I was told stippling will be done within two weeks (unlike some other places that told me 4-6 weeks). After ten days I pickup up the frame. Very happy with the work, pricing is fair, and turnaround is quick. I stopped by Precise Armory during their listed business hours and saw the open sign on. I rang the doorbell multiple times and waited for quite a while, but no one ever came to the door or responded. I completely understand that things can come up during the day, but it would really help customers if the open sign reflected actual availability. Even a small note on the door or an update to the hours would prevent people from making an unnecessary trip. I'm hoping this was just an off day because first impressions matter, especially for new customers was looking forward to getting my slide optic cut with them but if they don't seem to answer the door I rather not risk it and do business with someone else. Other reviewers have mentioned this in their review that they will not answer doors despite visiting the store during business hours. read more

I've been going to Precise Armory for over 2 years for everything gun related from painting my slide, fixing vintage guns, buying parts, cleaning my guns, asking for recommendations with all just great experiences. They have a great selection for colors, they can do milling and slide cuts. Edgar is extremely knowledgeable and skilled at gun smithing, he fixed my vintage gun and a couple other guns that I messed up so bad that I thought it would be impossible to fix. Precise Armory was able to repair my P365 very quickly and for a great price. I needed a simple repair and was afraid of being without my P365 for any length of time. Luckily, Precise Armory was able to fix it overnight, and I had my P365 back the next day. Very pleased so far. I plan to bring other guns for service since they're so convenient, close to where the 210 meets the 605. read more

Every time I enter this business, I get what I want. Good customer service, patient explanations, and comfortable conversations with the staff. They're quick with their work. The only downside is their stock. They do not keep a lot for sale and has low variety. There isn't too much to say yet, I will update when I get more work done. Highly recommend. read more

I had an issue with a stripped T10 torx screw on my P365 grip module. Called them and Harley answered. She was very kind and said they could easily remove the screw for me. Went ahead and dropped it off and picked it up after about an hour. They did not charge me to my surprise. Overall, this is a LGS I would highly recommend. I haven't tried their other offerings such as stippling, cerakote, etc, but I intend on coming back again as they have superb customer service and overall a very friendly environment! read more

Edgar was at the front counter and helped me out. I had an optic mounted on my Glock just a few days prior and needed to zero it in. Edgar hooked it up and zeroed in the optic to where it does not shoot low anymore. He was very knowledgeable, professional, and polite. First time buyer and also I did my FSC here…read more This was the closest gun store and I was interested in having my own firearm. I did some research myself and have gone to ranges so I had an idea of what I wanted and what I needed to do. When I arrived, the store is in a small lot and looks a bit hidden and old. Only one room I think had AC but that was where I took my test and spent my whole time in. It's not very assuming or a luxurious place, but it has a charm and very honest feel to it. The staff there were friendly, patient, and helpful (The 2 ladies that helped me were, Tami and I didn't get the name of the other lady, but she felt like the owner). They were both very knowledgeable, honest, and transparent with their answers and recommendations, and I didn't feel pressured for anything. I was given a few firearms to try that I talked to them about and a few that they recommended. They also said anything that they did not have in store, they could order for me and did their best to accommodate or find something similar for me to feel out. They had a wide assortment of firearms, at least in my eyes, and what they kept stocked made sense. I didn't look through the whole store and everything they had, but I will tomorrow. From what I browsed and saw while I walked in and around, they have many standard picks and accessories that make sense to get in person, and a few interesting pieces. Larger items or more common items, like safes, they were very transparent and said they did not stock and that it's better to find one online, which made sense business wise. I like that they understood what is feasible for them to stock and what not to; both for their interest of keeping their inventory moving, but also to not peddle something that the customer wouldn't want or be satisfied with. I was shown everything in great detail and kindly. I made my purchase and was given instruction on what to do, what to expect, and a time frame for when I can pick things up. For my FSC, I got clear instruction, some helpful preface, and then the paperwork was straightforward and simple. I was guided for it to be as smooth as possible. I got my card and everything done and the prices were as expected and fair. I will update my review if anything changes, but considering the positive experience and friendliness of the staff, I don't think I will have anything to update. I don't know enough about prices for different models and ammo to split hairs on that, and this is a local small business, so it doesn't make sense coming here with the expectation of below market prices. The price range on the models I looked at seemed to be around the ballpark range of what I saw online for MSRP. I'm sure you could look around and get quotes to find things cheaper, but considering this is a local business and near me, I'm not coming here to try to haggle for the lowest price. I care more for the experience and personal interaction. With that said though, I also don't like small businesses that don't keep prices competitive with the rest of the market. I think this business does a fair job with it. As I mentioned before, the items I looked at, I did some research on, and the prices were in the ballpark of what I saw online which is a great indication. For what I purchased, it came as a set and luckily for me, was also on sale, so I feel my purchase was actually on the better price range.

I ordered a lower through them and maglock. They were able to give me a good price since I was getting both. Quick paperwork, and I was out When it was time to pick up the lower, the wait was insane. I spent about 1.5h waiting for a simple pickup. Not sure why they staff 2 workers on the day before a holiday. When I got my stuff I did notice I only recieve a portion of the maglock kit and luckily I caught it before I left. Overally knowledgeable guys. Service is good if its not a crazy long wait. Get there early if you want to be first in line. Plenty of parking. Can be a long wait. Fair prices.

Bob Day installed a choke on an old J.C. Higgins manufactured by High Standard, 12 gauge with an antiquated choke system that plugged up the muzzle with plastic wadding that was sheared off when shooting. It was dangerous to shoot. Bob also installed a new Trulock choke system and a recoil pad on an old Model 11 (Humpback) fixed-full choked barrel. Both guns were handed down to me by family. Frankly I had this work done for sentimental reasons as well as practical. Perhaps someone reading this review may have an old hand-me-down shotgun that hasn't been used for a long time for a variety of reasons and wants to resurrect its function and bring it back to life. In that case if a choke/barrel issue is the obstacle, they may want to check with Bob Day.

Worst experience at any gun store I've been to. Do not trust them with your gun…read more Their communication is horrible. Their records often inaccurate. The gun smith says one thing -- their shop sales person another -- their manager a third. I initially had them set to work on a Nighthawk custom 1911. Simple job adding an RMR optic. When I realized it would void the warranty, I went into the store and asked them to ship the gun to nighthawk. They confirmed no work had taken place and they would send it. 3 visits later + several phone calls and emails -- it took them 2.5 months to mail the gun. Eventually, with me having to handle it. 2.5 months. To ship something. Nothing unstandard. Each time I'd visit or call they'd say they had it under control. One of the times I called in, they informed me that they had finished cutting the optic into the guns slide. Which is exactly what I asked them not to do, since it would void the lifetime warranty. Luckily their computer system is so bad and their communication so inaccurate that it turned out they were wrong - they hadn't worked on the gun. and it still hadn't shipped. Then after waiting 2.5 months to send the gun - Nighthawk receives it, and notes that the gun wasn't shipped with my Trijicon RMR. Again -- now I'm waiting for the RMR to ship in. On april 24th the manager Will said he would send it. I confirmed and sent him an email. No response. Finally following up yet again, I see he put it in the mail a week after my request. Followed up again to get tracking. Avoid them at all costs. Total clowns. No apologies for their horrible service on the phone. Excuses and BS. Told me the original gun smith wasn't at the company anymore -- but that doesn't excuse the timeline, lack of communication, or bad service.

What better place than a local shop who specializes in targets and supplies numerous police departments. I got to meet Arthur who was such a cool person to talk to and get advice about shooting. He gave me his opinion on which targets would suite my needs and for outdoor use. I ended up getting the BT-5SB3 Shooting Target Variety Pack along with two boxes of clay pigeons and their B 27E targets. The BT 5SB3 worked very well you can see your shots through the paper. Worked very well and very pleased will definitely get more of those when i run out. Great company who makes their targets in house and supply law enforcement departments with targets. Will definitely be back check out their other items and targets. Great place for targets. Highly recommend!!
