There were also law enforcement individuals who were there from start to end; goes to show that there is always something you can learn, improve and sharpen when it comes to this type of skill. We signed up and she provided all the information via email. I nor my friends had ever shot guns before so we were a little nervous. We got to the range and met Sayaka, who was badass! She assisted us to get geared up and shared about her expertise. There was about 6 people in our class, so it made it very intimate and they were able to assist us individually if needed! Paula and Sayaka went over various topics of safety. Already it made me feel at ease. Paula is so knowledgeable and quite hilarious she had be cracking up the entire class. Paula and Sayaka made a great team and they explained everything thoroughly. Such cool ladies! I was so inspired by them! We went over the movement of pulling the gun out from the holster over and over and over. But we didn't use the gun just learned the movements so we can get comfortable. Then we moved on to actually holding the gun. It was really helpful, because once we began shooting the adrenaline spiked! I got a lil scared and so did my friend but Paula and Sayaka were extremely patient and helpful. They showed us how to shot, where to shot, and how to reload. They gave me so much confidence that I could be badass like them! I will definitely be back and taking the next course. The three hours flew by! It was a lot of fun! We didn't know we were gonna get to shot in the shoothouse so that was a surprise and such a great time! Paula got some cool pics of us. 10/10 experience and I def recommend to women who have never shot before. It's definitely a necessity to protect ourselves and our loved ones!

Things I liked: Your child will SWIM. I think my kids legs…read morefelt like rubber the first day because the philosophy here in both the intermediate and advanced is to just keep swimming! The pool is huge and the instructors send them back and forth over and over! Endurance seems to be the main philosophy. Some of the instructors are very engaging, overall everyone is pretty friendly! Things I noticed Safety is not a huge priority. There is no one on deck keeping an eye out for things the instructors may miss. The first day of class, and multiple after, my kids instructor walked into the building telling the other instructor of the other class to "keep an eye" to which he just kind of laughed and went back to the class he was teaching. Meanwhile she had 4 swimmers in the pool in other lanes behind and the instructor of the other class was faced away from them the entire time. That was my 7 year olds first or second day in the class. I had seen this sort of thing a lot, their instructor would chat with a students mom who was seated in the upper level, she'd face away from the students and just chat. By the 4th class I was ready to let the office know, but then the owner came outside, and held a conversation with the instructor the same way, her back away from the swimmers. My swimmer had been introduced to all of the strokes but I enrolled him to improve his form. He'd taken other classes where there was an emphasis on that. What I found is that there is very little instruction in the advanced class, the students are sent on back and forth several times but only upon request will they be critiqued or given better techniques. It is more like someone standing there somewhat keeping an eye on them and telling them to swim 400 or what not. At one point they had the owner, and at another, her husband and like I mentioned at another point, the other instructor in the other class, "take over" with instructions like "they're doing kickbaord" or "have them do bla" They are not very organized. First day of class the instructor was 5 minutes late. After that the advanced class had multiple people take over. The intermediate class had a lot more consistency, but one of the days Alexis (she did a great job) had to ask the owners husband where her secondary was. She came out a few minutes later , while the class was sorta on hold Things I'm not sure on: The young kids aren't taught to rest float. I've liked other places teach this, in the case that the child knows how to swim but doesn't have energy to get back to shore, or the edge of a pool for whatever reason. I once almost drowned as a kid in a pool right in the middle, I had slowly but surely run out of energy and not noticed til I couldn't keep my head above water. My brother pushed me to the edge. That being said, the rest float is a hard position to get into, so I kinda understand why they don't teach it‍ Overall, i think my kids are stronger swimmers and I'd possibly come back next summer since I trust my kids and I'm keeping an eye the entire time. Its $35 for 30 minutes (so 8 classes comes out to $280) Alexis was very encouraging in the intermediate class and each of the intermediate instructors really pushed the kids, and encouraged them, which I really appreciated:) oh and one more thing, I loved that at the intermediate level, there are two instructors to 4 students! That's a really nice ratio

Most people know that guns stores are run by rude and bitter people, it's like you have to have an attitude problem to work at a gun shop. I've never had a good experience when it comes to good friendly service at a gun shop, but never say never! This shop is run by a great group of guys who were very helpful, informative and patient with all my questions. They have a great selection of AR's hanging on the wall and some cool and low priced tactical accessories. I purchased a really cool Ladesma Arms AR15 (LAM15) rifle with Magpul upgrades. This was my first purchase ever of a assault rifle and I gotta state that I am extremely satisfied with the quality of products and service I received at this shop. I've been shooting guns for 35 years and living in a city where gun stores were un heard of not more than a couple of years ago, (Big Five, Walmart are not gun stores), I've had to go to Orange County or L.A. County to find a gun store or gun smith. It's great to finely have knowledgeable gun dealers and gun smiths who know there stuff like Lou and Wayne. Friendly willing to give good advice and probably most importantly trustworthy, there not going to tell you something just to get a sale, there going to tell what you need for your situation. Just got back my AK47 today from HIT and it came out better then expected. Wayne ceracoated my AK and it looks badass! Can't wait to take it to the range. These guys do awesome work, and they are very knowledgeable about guns. Lou took me out with him to the firing range to test out my AR's when i first got them and really taught me how to use my guns. i am more accurate from a long distance with both handguns and rifles because of Lou and Wayne. The Gun Smith at Hit Armory Wayne is fantastic! I did alot of research on the net and phone reguarding some custom work, action, part changing, and coating and found Hit Armory to be the best. Most shop were far to over priced and asked me to to order the parts and bring then in to be fitted and installed. Wayne said said what ever you want done I have it and can do it. We also talked about different things I might want done. I had the gas block changed, front sight changed and realigned and cerecoted. the best gun store and best gunsmith in town, as compared to Ammo Bros and the rest of the big store cash your money and crappy service. Dave, Big Wayne (the most knowledgeable gunsmith (AKs, ARs, Glocks... you name it) and Lou. Had the most wonderful experience and guns chat while trigger installed. Had a gun built at HIT. Not sure if it was the shop or the builder, but in tandem the build experience I went through on my gun was horrible. The shop said they would call about putting on a side rail with a price, that never happened and I was charged without consenting to the extra work. read more

I took my ak47 parts kit into this shop and after many issues I was given a gun that would fire and then jam up. The shop told me to get a buffer. I had to drive down to San Diego and get the Nodak rails welded up. This shop offered no compensation for my time or hassle. read more

I walked into the store and saw that every gun on the wall was overpriced by like $500. I saw a box of 20rd of 7.62 for like $20!!! And it was Wolf! Go to Turners or another shop and check prices. These guys are price gouging like crazy. read more

LE friendly, Lou is a great and knowledgeable guy. Really tries to help you get what you want and will throw in advice for free. And if he doesn't have what want at the shop, he will get it and won't charge an arm and leg either. read more
