This review is LONG overdue but one that I'm glad to write. I have been coming to this shop for the past couple of years and have had nothing but excellent service everytime. They recently opened up their new location ( across the street from their previous location ) and man it's coming together. Far bigger store where they get to put up more goods to sell. The team is generally full of well informed and expert opinions that can guide your purchasing decisions. Special shout outs to Ethan who was one of the first staff members I interacted with and have since developed an immense gratitude for his knowledge and service attitude, frequently picking his brain and taking up his time, never making me feel rushed. Additionally aside from Ethan , it's been great getting to know Tyler and Kyle whom also exemplify great knowledge, great service, and general patience for a guy like me with a million questions. The shops selection is insane with your usual popular options and even select harder find options that aren't readily available at other lgs. The team/staff seem to be growing to match their high customer volume ( of which I have had the opportunity to work with through my several purchases ). Also while not directly involved in my purchases with processing paperwork's but often giving approval or influencing the deals that make purchases easy, Aubri has also been impactful and always takes the time to say hello! The og's that I mentioned have led/taught the growing staff well. If the owner/owners are reading this, please understand how much impact the aforementioned staff have made for guys like me. Don't buy anything from here unless you want to risk criminal charges ... bought a serialized p80 frame from them that they had to register as a bolt action just to get it serialized but rip all of the components off before selling it to you just to get around California law . They told me to contact polymer 80 when I called them a week after receiving it since it was defective and received a new frame from polymer 80 with a different serial number . Now I'm out 700 bucks over something they should have handled because there was never any paperwork done on the new frame I received . Luckily everything is recorded , maybe I'll have to contact DOJ and let them know about this and the 1$ gun lock I supposedly bought since they won't even answer their phone ...luckily everything is recorded there...now I have to go out and buy a new gun out of pocket . I know these guys are busy, but the tiniest bit of customer service would go a LONG way. Maybe a little eye contact and "hey guys, we are super busy, but give us a a few minutes and we will help you out"- but nothing. Clearly not interested in making a sale, or creating any rapport with customers. I hope the person that has money invested in this business sees this and has a little meeting with his employees-hey guys let's act like humans be cool to people that want to give us money. Disappointing support. Friendly, helpful salespeople here. The second firearm I purchased at 2a had a major issue, no big deal and not 2a's fault - Ruger will pay to ship, repair, and return. They recommend shipping be done through the ffl of purchase. 1 week after taking possession of the firearm at 2a, I brought it back and I spent a good long time waiting in line, then going through the process only to be rung up by the manager for $66 for shipping and handling. I kindly reminded him that Ruger will pay shipping both ways and I have the item in its case. Rather than waive most or all of this bogus fee he changes his explanation and says it's just a handling fee now for his staff's time... his staff's time to support a product I purchased in his store a week ago for about $1,000. Unbelievable. This store will happily sell you items but don't expect any support after purchase at least where the day manager is involved. read more

I went on Wednesday 2/28 and talked to Bobby and I explained what I was looking for and he showed me 3 options and gave his input on all 3. Not once did he pressure me on buying anything. my wife had been asking me to get protection for our home before they outlawed it, I texted the number and they texted me back later that day, after a conversation we determined what i needed for my home, and set up an appointment 2 weeks out (due to high demand), to go in and view the gun. I went in and took the firearms safety test (written) that day, passed, and registered at that same moment. they showed me a few extra firearms, and i picked the one that was right for me. The price of the firearm had increased but they honored the price they quoted me in the text and saved that particular one for me. Went here to take my FSC test and DROS a transfer. The store was packed when I arrived mid day on a Friday. There were 5 people ahead of me and 6 customers being helped by staff. My wait in line was about 25 minutes, which isn't bad as I already expected a crowd due to the popularity of the store. I completed my FSC test and DROS in about 25 minutes. As you've probably seen from the reviews customer service seems to be the top priority of this store and I can validate that one hundred percent. Just observing the staff take their time with each customer making sure their needs are met and treating everyone respectfully was really good to see.
