The result of Andy's master instruction after the first exercise that we did!
    Ayanna S.

Andy is AMAZING! I had little to no experience shooting (only have shot at the range once), but wanted to become proficient in handgun handling. I can wholeheartedly say that after taking Trigger Press' Handgun Fundamentals course, I am confident in my knowledge and handling of firearms! Andy is so kind, patient, and extremely knowledgeable. From the beginning, I felt very comfortable and knew that I was in the hands of an expert. The course has a diverse range of activities that made the experience educational and very engaging. I was truly blown away by the thoroughness of the course and Andy's training. Every minute was packed full of information, and the value that I received was incredible! Everything was done with excellence, and you can tell take Andy genuinely loves teaching firearm handling and safety. Andy's instruction turned this handgun noob into a pretty sharp and safe shooter! I am so excited to have found Trigger Press training and will be continuing my training and education with Andy!

    Ready to go!

I highly recommended Trigger Press Training. Andy was amazing! You worked hard the whole class, he told you what to do and demonstrated everything. Safety is his top priority. There was actually another class going on near us and those participants were constantly watching our class. We learned a ton, the drills he put us through were meaningful and fun. I will continue to come back to Andy for more training in the future. I cannot imagine a better class, Andy is a true professional!

The atmosphere was relaxed but still very polished, which made learning feel natural and enjoyable. We covered everything from table manners / social interactions / professional etiquette / communication skills, and the guidance felt modern and practical--not outdated or intimidating. The class sparked great conversations afterward and gave us tools we'll genuinely use in everyday life. If you're considering an etiquette class for your family or a private group, I highly recommend Jonnie with Magnolia School of Etiquette. It was a valuable and memorable experience.

Mrs. Flanagan provided hands on experience by preparing a delicious meal and going through the entire dining protocol. The workshop not only focused on dining, but proper social etiquette such as making eye contact and how to have a proper handshake. I think this should be a mandatory workshop for kids, especially with today's lack of social interactions due to technology! I am very confident that my husband and son will present exemplary manners the next time they dine at a fine restaurant!

Drastically improved my skills - worth every penny! Last month I took the Adobe Premiere Pro Bootcamp with Kristian Gabriel - AMAZING CLASS! Highly recommend if you're doing any work in Premiere Pro - and Kristian even touches a little on Photoshop, After Effects & Illustrator too. The bootcamp definitely kicked my video editing skills up several notches! I wish I had taken the class much sooner haha! That being said, I'm glad I had already worked with Premiere Pro bc the bootcamp made a lot more sense. The software can be complicated, especially if you're just starting out, and the bootcamp moves fast...so it can be hard to keep up. BUT Training Connection gives you one free repeat!! You can come back and take the same class again once more - how awesome is that?? Kristian is an absolutely FANTASTIC teacher!! He's professional, passionate, extremely knowledgeable, patient, kind and caring - his expertise is impressive! He knows Adobe inside and out. I would happily take any of his classes again and definitely plan to take the After Effects and Illustrator classes in the future. The building is great also - the suite is sleek and always clean. They have high tech equipment in the classrooms - all their computers are fast Apples. Even the break room has a very fancy coffee machine offering all sorts of lattes and such. And all the rooms have lovely views of DTLA. Very nice facility. The prices for their classes are extremely reasonable considering the value of the lectures and the fact that they let you do one free retake. There are tons of eateries and cafes and food courts nearby so lunch is fun everyday! You can park in their underground lot but it's expensive at $35 a day. However, there's lots of security and it felt very safe, clean and convenient. I took the metro gold line the first two days and actually got urinated on by a vagrant the second morning - so I didn't hesitate to pay for parking after that lol. There's a cheaper lot around the corner but no security so be aware.

They all know my son and always greeting to him on the hallway, even after he graduated almost one year ago. The younger age room 2 teachers took so good care of my son. Ms. Griselda was always reading and playing with the kids when I picked up my son in the late afternoon. she always shared with me how my son was eating that specific day and other fun facts about him, before I ask. Still also remember how nice and warm Ms. Cecilia was when I didn't make it for Mother's Day activity. They took a lot of pictures and greeted to me with so much love that day when I picked my son up. All the way up to room 6, Ms. G focus more on good behavior and learning. While strict, she is also a fun teacher. My son likes her so much and came back everyday telling me things that Ms. G shared. He also learned so much things, art, math, geology, etc. The school also host many activities and kids performance through the year, my husband enjoyed this a lot. We'll forever be grateful to Ms. Noelle, Carolina, Gie, Sabina, Hailey, Anna, Katie, Sam, Reina, Rabia, Connie, Andrea, Dima, etc. for their patience, dedication, expertise, and wholistic LOVE for the kids, parents, and the community. The staff has ALWAYS been sincere, selfless, and deeply passionate about kids' development. We wish we could stay forever with WIM-"--8 stars, if possible! Stay steadfast & patient to the other parents waiting out there! My girls have attended Kinder Chinese as well as private tutoring and summer camp (Karis also offers ESL, Korean, Coding, Piano and many other enrichment classes) and we have been elated with all of them! As a non-Chinese speaker, a high quality Mandarin education is even more important to me since I can't really help my kids much (although I am having a lot of fun learning some Mandarin too practicing with my daughters!). The teachers are always so nice and translate everything into English & Pinyin for me so I can more easily have my daughters practice at home. Karis has phenomenal, experienced, native speaking, & caring teachers who are really invested in helping children learn languages and having fun doing it! I know both of my girls' teachers truly care about the girls - like an Aunt would - and they always go above and beyond coming up with creative ways to engage my girls and help them really retain the language. Another thing I love is how both of my girls' teachers also teach them about Chinese Culture such as Chinese Poetry, trying Chinese foods, learning about the Chinese holidays, etc. Karis uses the highest quality curriculum complete with a multitude of different books, CDs, DVDs, worksheets and some of the materials they even create themselves! My girls are continuously doing creative craft & art projects and games related to learning Mandarin which is helpful to keep them engaged and looking forward to attending Mandarin classes every week! Another thing I like about Karis Academy is that it is very organized and has a great administrative staff which is helpful for scheduling classes, makeups and also for using Charter School funds (which they accept!). Karis is located on the entire second level of a building conveniently located right off the 5 freeway & Jeffrey (we drive from Newport Beach to get there) and it is a very safe location with plenty of parking. Karis Academy is the perfect school for my daughters and I only wish something like this existed when I was a kid because Karis is so amazing I wish I could attend too!

The teacher, Dana Lewis, is a supportive, intelligent person with a friendly, caring personality that welcomes students. I have absolutely no doubt, given all my experiences with her, that she created this haven, not for her personal benefits but for the students who enter her door with an desire for knowledge and a thirst for a better education. She treats everyone equally and every student feels an unique bond with her, a bond that would last for a while, if not a lifetime. In the cases in which I return to Arcadia, I would always seek a visit to her as she is a reminder of who I was and who've I become. Ms. Dana is not only a teacher in the arts of writing and literature, but a teacher of proper manners and etiquette. With a simple yet strictly enforced set of disciplinary rules, she has managed to transform even the most rowdy and ill-mannered of students into respectable people of our society. In those two years, every paper I turned in would be graded with an intensity of a thousand suns. There was no greater joy than seeing her compliments written on my papers and yet no greater shame than turning in a paper that was produced with the minimum of my available efforts. Nowadays, whenever I read my papers, I become surprised at how far I have advanced since my initial development in writing. I am completely sure that those two years I spent in her classroom has changed me for the better. No longer was I the rambunctious student fooling around in the back of the class, no longer was I the child who fought with his parents everyday, no longer was I the boy full of insults and taunts. I am now someone I could respect. I am a former student of Starcat Prep & Tutorial and I am proud.
