A 10/10 Experience at 200SocialHouse Tucked into the charming heart of Bernalillo at 200S Camino del Pueblo, 200SocialHouse is an absolute gem in New Mexico's dining scene. Bold yet welcoming, the space is stunning--spacious, stylish, and cozy, with a wraparound patio and fire pits that make you want to stay a while. Ambience & Service From the moment we arrived, the ambiance was on point--warm lighting, inviting décor, and a layout that encourages both conversation and comfort. The attention to detail in the design is matched by the level of service. Robin was phenomenal--genuinely kind, knowledgeable, and made us feel completely taken care of. Dustin, the proprietor, is clearly passionate about creating an exceptional experience, and it shows in every corner of the place. Incredible Cocktails We tried several drinks from the cocktail menu and were blown away: * Look What You Made Me Brew * Pineapple Express * Oaxacan Old Fashioned * Raspberry & Red Chile Margarita Each was creative, balanced, and beautifully presented--bold flavors without being overpowering. The bar program here is clearly top-tier. Small Plates with Big Flavor We shared several dishes and every single one delivered: * Patatas Bravas with a kick of spice * Chamoy Beets--tangy, sweet, and surprisingly addictive * Roasted Cauliflower, perfectly caramelized The use of fresh, locally sourced ingredients was clear in every bite. Standout Main & Dessert The Beef Tenderloin was absolutely melt-in-your-mouth--expertly cooked and packed with flavor. For dessert, the Olive Oil Cake was delicate, moist, and not overly sweet. We capped the night with a pour of Kopke 10yr, which was the perfect touch. Why You'll Love It * Fresh, locally sourced ingredients that elevate each dish * Craft cocktails that are as thoughtful as the food * Exceptional service from a team that genuinely cares * A space that's both elevated and comfortable, perfect for any occasion Final Verdict 200SocialHouse is everything you want in a night out: vibrant flavors, thoughtful presentation, and a staff that makes you feel like a regular on your first visit. Whether you're local or just passing through Bernalillo, make this a destination. It's more than just a meal--it's an experience. 10/10--Can't wait to come back.

Delightful servers. Chill atmosphere. Delicious food and drink -- every sip and bite was perfect. A mocktail, large plate of frittes, and fresh and yummy Caesar salad with shrimp came to $45. I'll be back.

Feels like a hidden gem restaurant in Bernalillo. The service, food and atmosphere were all better than expected.

Beautiful interior, extensive drinks menu, attentive service. We were a party of eight and everyone left happy.

The Prairie Star's location has a fabulous view of the Sandia Mountains. We watched storms move across the horizon through out our meal. Easily want to spend time relaxing and watching the world go by. Our arrival timing was perfect for immediate seating, definitely want reservations. There are covered parking places available in the lot. The staff is well practiced and take care of you throughout the meal. The meal was fabulous. The chef put together a great combination of plates. The appetizer was a soup or salad. Both were excellent and displayed unique touches to enhance the flavors, perfect vinaigrette on the salad. For the main course, I had the sirloin steak, summer vegetables and black beans. The steak was extra tender and a flavorful as a ribeye. The pureed beans acted as a sauce to the steak. The meal also included a bottle of wine. (a white or a red) The red was great with the entire meal. Not quite sure how the white would have stood up to the beef or cioppino. The warm chocolate cake was a fine finish to the meal. The fresh fruit added refreshing flavors, neither too bitter nor too sweet.

***Review for "XO Waffles and Crepes" *** NEW BUSINESS***…read more I was hungry but really couldn't decide on what to eat. A condition that affects millions of adults nationwide. This is an "adulting" challenge no one warns you about in grade school. Anyways, I narrowed it down to comfort food. Then waffles popped up on my phone. Gotta love AI and its creepy, stalker ways. I went to the Block in Rio Rancho. It's a little food hall located at the Enchanted Hills Shopping Center behind Petsmart, but don't get concerned. No animals were harmed in my quest for waffles. I hadn't really been over there before, and this is when I discovered XO Waffles and Crepes! The food was amazing and settled my adulthood dilemma of what to eat. I got a sweet waffles because I earned it, but they have savory options too. Johnny is the operations manager and had a cool NY accent. He was great and friendly. Matt made my order with speed and precision. I was thinking to myself, "Self, you made a good choice for once!" It looked just like the picture (which is more than I can say for any dating app interactions.) The waffle was delicious and visually beautiful. Who knew waffles could be such a treat. So go take your "adulting challenged" self to XO Waffles and Crepes and make good choices! Highly recommend!

Even worse, management couldn't be bothered to come address it in the moment and instead doubled down afterward without hearing both sides. This also wasn't the first issue with that bartender, which makes it pretty clear nothing is being managed the way it should be. At a certain point, it's not a staff problem--it's a leadership problem. Plenty of better places in Rio Rancho that actually know how to treat people.

They provided chips and salsa and our entrees came out quickly. I had the chile relleno plate, Christmas. I don't know which of the chiles was hot, but that's how I like it! They had a variety of cocktails, draft and canned beer options. An hour before the show, you are allowed entry to the show room for the comedy show. There is a QR code at every table that you can use to order food and drinks and pay on your phone. Very simple and convenient so you don't have to get up and miss any part of the show. They are delivered quickly too. I know the quality of the show is gonna very depending on the talent of the acts, but the venue is great and is set up and run very well. Smoking areas and bathroom signs are clearly displayed so there's no confusion where to go. I'll definitely come back for future shows.

Went to see Cristela last night and we started with dinner at the cantina. Since moving here we have been fairly disappointed with the "Mexican" food. You always judge a restaurant on two things - the beans and rice!! The beans were amazing!! The rice was a little wet for my liking but the flavor was great!! Loved the salsa bar and the options there!! Such a nice large basket of chips!! I had heard prior the food was meh. I also heard they improved it so I was looking forward to trying - food was overall very good!! I had a chicken chimichanga and my partner had the fish tacos. He was not too impressed with the fish tacos but said they tasted good. The chimichanga was delicious!! Not over fried or greasy, chicken was moist and flavorful and not too much cheese! It was also huge!!! Lots of chicken!! I ate about a fourth and my partner finished the rest!! The waitress was very prompt and friendly!! She checked on us often and was very helpful! I loved that the tables were very well spread out! Mostly high tops though. Being disabled, high tops can be uncomfortable for my partner so having some low tops was great! The club itself was a different set up then I'm used to but it was great!! We were close to the stage, not too crowded, service was fast!!! I had no problem with the sound, the view, overall a great show!! I did wonder how the people in back could see and how they differentiated premium from GA but my seat was great for GA. Overall - for $150 I had two tickets to a great show, 4 alcoholic drinks, two sodas, full meal and tip! Pretty great price point for a night out!!! THE CONS - I wish they would start the line for the show outside the restaurant before the doors open. We arrived in time to eat and get I to show - about hour and a half early. Half hour into dinner, people started lining up. For a few diners who table was near the line, it made it awkward! Getting to the restroom was slightly difficult with a big line there! Having the line out side the restaurant would be better. May even having a special line for those who eat there, like first spots in line if you have dinner could boost before show dining. At Improv, they have dinner tickets so you get first seats. Higher price point, more sales = happy patrons! The drinks - I also judge on the margarita. They need some work. In the restaurant, the premium was not that great. Barely any flavor and honestly could not tell if there was alcohol. The blended in the show was worse! Strawberry did not have a strawberry flavor, I could taste the alcohol, which you could tell was some cheap wanna be tequila. For a "cantina" you better have some top notch margs!! I will try so thing else next time but the mags were a nah dog!! The seats - like the actual chairs were horrible!! Hard as hell and super uncomfortable!! Both my partner and I were hurting about 30 minutes I to our visit. Overall we really enjoyed it and cannot wait to come back!! We love that it's close to home (we live in Rio Rancho), good food, great comedians, and a beautiful clean casino!! One of the cleanest casinos I have ever seen!! For the price it was absolutely worth the price for a great date night!!!
