I love comedy clubs! I enjoy going to a nice venue, seeing a good show with some drinks and food. I was not disappointed!! Went to see Cristela last night and we started with dinner at the cantina. Since moving here we have been fairly disappointed with the "Mexican" food. You always judge a restaurant on two things - the beans and rice!! The beans were amazing!! The rice was a little wet for my liking but the flavor was great!! Loved the salsa bar and the options there!! Such a nice large basket of chips!! I had heard prior the food was meh. I also heard they improved it so I was looking forward to trying - food was overall very good!! I had a chicken chimichanga and my partner had the fish tacos. He was not too impressed with the fish tacos but said they tasted good. The chimichanga was delicious!! Not over fried or greasy, chicken was moist and flavorful and not too much cheese! It was also huge!!! Lots of chicken!! I ate about a fourth and my partner finished the rest!! The waitress was very prompt and friendly!! She checked on us often and was very helpful! I loved that the tables were very well spread out! Mostly high tops though. Being disabled, high tops can be uncomfortable for my partner so having some low tops was great! The club itself was a different set up then I'm used to but it was great!! We were close to the stage, not too crowded, service was fast!!! I had no problem with the sound, the view, overall a great show!! I did wonder how the people in back could see and how they differentiated premium from GA but my seat was great for GA. Overall - for $150 I had two tickets to a great show, 4 alcoholic drinks, two sodas, full meal and tip! Pretty great price point for a night out!!! THE CONS - I wish they would start the line for the show outside the restaurant before the doors open. We arrived in time to eat and get I to show - about hour and a half early. Half hour into dinner, people started lining up. For a few diners who table was near the line, it made it awkward! Getting to the restroom was slightly difficult with a big line there! Having the line out side the restaurant would be better. May even having a special line for those who eat there, like first spots in line if you have dinner could boost before show dining. At Improv, they have dinner tickets so you get first seats. Higher price point, more sales = happy patrons! The drinks - I also judge on the margarita. They need some work. In the restaurant, the premium was not that great. Barely any flavor and honestly could not tell if there was alcohol. The blended in the show was worse! Strawberry did not have a strawberry flavor, I could taste the alcohol, which you could tell was some cheap wanna be tequila. For a "cantina" you better have some top notch margs!! I will try so thing else next time but the mags were a nah dog!! The seats - like the actual chairs were horrible!! Hard as hell and super uncomfortable!! Both my partner and I were hurting about 30 minutes I to our visit. Overall we really enjoyed it and cannot wait to come back!! We love that it's close to home (we live in Rio Rancho), good food, great comedians, and a beautiful clean casino!! One of the cleanest casinos I have ever seen!! My friend and I go to Quezada's at least twice a month. The room is beautiful, the staff are kind and accommodating. I've been to a couple of dozen shows, but I would go all the time if I could afford it. The comedians are top-notch, Caroline Rhea is coming back this fall. I've seen Kevin Nealon (not my favorite), Leslie Jones, Preacher Lawson and so many more. The last 2 New Year's Eve's I saw Jay Mohr and David Koechner. Next week Steven Michael Quezada will be there. We are so excited to see him again. I'm a widow and laughing is necessary. Quezada's does that for me. read more

The comic (the Chinese lady who asks what species we are during crowd work) was loud and clear, and the staff were awesome. We had the chips and variety of dips and they were solid! Dropped $40 on Quezeda's "VIP experience" for the Leo Gonzalez show, drove in from Santa Fe, dressed up, dinner and drinks at the venue prior to show and ended up babysitting a front-row table of loud mouth ghetto trash cans. One guy even stopped the entire show to shout about the sound. The comedian called him out! What did security do? Nada. Zip. They claim there's a "no heckling" policy guess it took the night off too. It wasn't just me. The room was whispering for that table to shut up. Total disrespect to the comics and the audience. But here's where it really goes off.. I contacted management. Multiple times. Was told someone would get back to me. That was nine days ago. I'm still waiting. At this point, I assume the manager's stuck at that same table with the hecklers. We've already let others in the local comedy community know- this kind of nonsense shouldn't slide. Comedians, choose a venue that has your back!! Audiences, spend your money somewhere that respects the show. This ain't it. Punchline? I came for laughs, left with regret. Never again. read more

We didn't care for the service or food. There are a few options for ordering, and I chose to go out to the bar to order food to go. They gave me a pager. It never beeped. The burger was dry and bland. The fries were greasy and limp. The iced tea tasted old. The food was flavorless, over priced and not worth eating. Been here before, liked it in the past. Saw Cristela Alonzo in the past, and enjoyed her skit. Tried to watch her tonight, but it was the same old tired jokes, and spewing hatred about Trump, how he should die, how people who support him are so stupid, said this several times. She's not funny, she's angry. My time is valuable. I wasted my evening and supported her hate by buying tickets to see her. Always have a great time there - the comedians have been mostly great, with an occasional flub. But that's normal, as not everyone enjoys all types of comedy. Food is good, fairly priced. We really enjoy going - adults only usually though. Nature of the beast. He's getting good comics, so I'm guessing it'll get even better in the future. read more

Zero stars!!! The headliner (Sheryl Underwood) wasn't even funny. She didn't tell any jokes or stories. She opened up saying she is a Republican and then went on to trash Trump. My wife and I paid $75 to see her show when I could have just watched CNN for free. After 15 minutes and no comedy show we got up and left. Horrible acoustics .Went there years ago and saw top notch entertainment that had great acoustics. Not so much now. Second rate talent combined with the poor sound makes this a pass. I have wasted over $100 to see two shows and could'nt understand half of what was said. Too bad as there aren't a lot of comedy clubs in Albuquerque. read more

Avoid this place like you would avoid a republican!! The old comedy club was nice had tiered seating an large open area with good view of the stage. This new club looks like it was an after thought shoved in the back of a restaurant. It has the worst sound system and you can barely hear the artist especially when people are laughing. Its not tiered seated so seeing the artist can be difficult. Before the show the line stretches into the dining area so you get to stand next to people eating while the serving staff has to work-around the line of people, its very awkward. Whoever designed this crap needs to find a new line of work, maybe a city sewer rat exterminator or the like. The service in the restaurant was crap, the server took nearly 10 minutes to visit our table the 1st time and never came back for refills. We had to go the bar several time to get drinks refilled. However, the food was good and delivered fairly fast. Server was rude and unfriendly but bar staff and others were good. This casino in general is a pretty much a garbage shit hole. We used to go to the old comedy club here very frequently but this new place is trash and we are never going back. I recommend you all avoid the club and restaurant for sure. Disappointed again, 0 Rating for service and 5 for Preacher Lawson: Today, 8/3/24 we bought premium seating for the Preacher Lawson 7:00 pm show, Preacher was awesome. We decided to try this venue's premium seating for the second time and was once again very disappointed. So most definitely not worth the extra money to be treated like crap. The tables are small and accommodate 4 chairs one on each side. Well after we were seated and had ordered our drinks an employee informed us they were adding 2 more chairs to our table. We were told not asked. This made it 5 folks to a 4 chair table but these two turned into 4 more to equal 7 at a 4 chair table. This venue apparently very inconsiderate does not care about it's customers nor do they know simple math or how not to over book premium seating. I tried to give this venue a second chance and they were worse than the 1st time. I will never come back nor will I recommend this comedy club to anyone. read more

Aug 9, 2024 show - My sister was coming in to visit from Hawaii. We wanted to celebrate her birthday there as a girls night out (4 of us). I bought the tickets early to get good seats. I was not aware that it was 1st come, 1st serve. We found that out when we got there and ended up sitting in a back table. The acoustics were so bad that we could not understand half of the 3 comedians that night. Needless to say they need a better theater style sound system so that all can hear the jokes. We were really disappointed and I felt ripped off and probably will not go back. read more
