This was our first time at this location, we often dine at the Rio Rancho location. But we were trying to find a place to eat a late dinner on New Year's Eve. We had family traveling from afar and we wanted to meet them at this place. There were many places to choose from, but my family really wanted Italian food and somewhere close to their hotel. They were very busy that night. We were hopeful that we could still dine here. We did not have reservations, but they still took us in. We did not have to wait too long, which was great! When we sat down, Christina, our waitress, was ready to take our drink orders. We started off with some beer and an espresso martini. It was so delicious! Most of the tables were full of patrons there for the same reasons. We were able to order our food in a timely manner. Enjoyed our dinner and libations. That I did not get a chance to take food photos from anyone's dinner but mine. I'm thankful that they were so accommodating. Service was fantastic for it being New Year's Eve. We did see that they offered Brunch at this location, which is definitely something to try one day! Thank you for a night to remember! read more

I ordered delivery of the family board and added garlic (only two cloves were given), mushrooms (about a teaspoon's worth), red onions (not included), and sun dried tomatoes (also not included). The added veggies were a huge disappointment and a total rip off. The delivery was also about ten minutes late despite my ordering several hours ahead because it was Friday and also the start of balloon fiesta. I wanted to give the team at the restaurant enough time and leeway to complete my order on time. This was not the driver's fault. I was tracking them and they had to wait for the order. With that said, my DoorDasher did not follow the instructions I left, and instead rang my doorbell and waited for me to come get the order, which is not what I requested. Went twice in a week - once for dinner, back for happy hour. Dinner was the winner largely due to service. Charles L. was fantastic; helped make the meal feel very relaxed, and wow - what a smile! My expectations were set for Italian-American, but even still, the food was just okay. Bread basket appetizer was a let down - not even three full pieces. Pretty cheap of ya, MT25... It's just bread! Fill up the darn basket! Meal portions, on the other hand, were generous. I also appreciate how they allow half portions for those with smaller appetites. Smart service, MT25. The chicken scallopini was crispy without being greasy, so yay, but the accompanying pasta was another miss. I'd read reviews about how the spaghettini is overcooked consistently, so I purposely asked for linguini (thinking a thicker noodle would come out al dente)... Alas. (And mushy noods aside, that "creamy Pecorino" sauce didn't taste like Pecorino to me.) Found myself back there for HH with a friend (her pick). Tried the wild mushroom bruschetta with a seasonal gin and tonic. Wasn't mad at the bruschetta, but I wouldn't order it again because although MT25 got the textures right, the mushrooms were under-seasoned, so the whole dish was just kinda boring. Came to M'tucci's on a Saturday night at 8:30 pm. The restaurant was busy and bustling! It has a very chic vibe, with low lighting and unique wall art/accessories. We were seated and attended to immediately. We ordered the smoked prosciutto + apple flatbread and braised lamb parpadelle. Both dishes arrived at the table very quickly. The dough of the flatbread was very thin, making it almost crunchy. The combination of prosciutto and apple, along with the balsamic, is delicious. I will note that the white mozzarella is gooped onto the dough, so the toppings will move around when eating the pizza. The lamb pappardelle came with peas, which I personally thought to be unique! The lamb was cooked well, very tender. The dish does turn lukewarm pretty quickly, so I recommend eating it fast. I felt that the noodles could've been more al dente; it felt like there was somewhat an inconsistent texture of the pasta with each bite. Regardless, I really enjoyed the flavor profile of the sauce. M'tucci's has a large menu, serving flavorful Italian dishes. I'd love to come back and try some appetizers and eat some more pasta! read more

Today was my first time here. I went for lunch with some family from out of town. The items on the lunch menu were small. The items on the dinner menu were quite a bit bigger, or group had some from each menu. It was pretty much a full house I think every table had someone sitting at it. The servers were trying to keep up but I only saw two. Look like the manager was trying to help out. Unfortunately they were understaffed. Had to wait for drink refills. The bread did not come out until most everybody was done eating. My plate did not come out until everyone else was half done eating. I did get the dinner plate though instead of the lunch special. Very nice place I will go back and try their other locations as well. Nothing bad to say, the food was excellent! read more

The family board is fun to share with a group, and pair that with any of their shrubs (love that they have non-alcoholic options now too), and I'm set. We went in on a slow Tuesday afternoon for an office Xmas party. There was only 4 of us and it was 2 in the afternoon so it wasnt very busy. The. One other office Xmas party and that was it for the customers. The other Xmas party lunch that was there had 15 ppl. All paying separately! So right away the waitress disappeared on us to make up 15 separate checks for them. What a rewarding company where the employees have to pay for themselves at a xmas lunch. That said we didn't see the waitress for quite a long time then, which made sense, but then and later in the lunch when there was no one else she disappeared again. When she would come by the table she was nice. We started with the crispy shrimp diavolo and seared beef tips. Both were very good. The table unanimously agreed the beef tips were the better of the two! Perfect taste and texture! Our table also unanimously ordered the same entree. Lobster ravioli. The most INCREDIBLE meal I've had and it was only $15. I ordered the Eggplant Benedict and it was so delicious. We also ordered the Lemon Ricotta Pancake and Sourdough Bread Pudding French Toast. Following a paleo diet so chose M'tucci's to have some steak, fish, and veggies. The ribeye special came marinated in something... any good steak or cut of meat does not need a marinade or a sauce unless there is something to hide. Ordered zucchini appetizer was alright but tasted of low quality seed oils. Service was average and flavors were below average. There are higher quality Italian restaurants nearby :) read more

He made us great drinks, including the famous espresso martini, which is probably the best one I've ever had, and was very personable while being super busy. We also tried the blackberry walnut old fashioned, and a specialty cocktail on the weekend menu. For dinner we had the hanger steak and a ribeye on the weekend menu. I was really looking forward to this dinner. Everyone has been telling me "Oh you love Italian food?! You HAVE to go to M'tucci's!" As a New Jersey Native, I grew up with some legit Italian food. A lot of family owned restaurants. I miss it :( With that said, I hate to say it, but M'tucci's was an upgraded Olive Garden. If you LOVE Olive Garden then you will love M'tucci's. The price for the meal was not worth it. I ordered $17 eggplant parm for 2 slices of eggplant and a huge side of spaghetti noodles. Eggplant is not expensive. Whether buying or making you're own pasta - that's not expensive. Using San Marzano tomatoes can add up, but this was...mediocre...and for $17...a rip off. The chicken Milanese: Where was the flavor?! Where was the seasoning in the bread crumbs?! $19 for this dish...again...not worth it. The sausage rigatoni ($17) was probably the best of the 3 entrees, but honestly nothing amazing. ....I don't want to talk about the tiramisu. It was the worst tiramisu I've ever had. $8 not worth it. You want legit tiramisu in ABQ go to Linda's Dolci... 3 stars = A-Okay. Food was okay. It was not "amazing" or the "best Italian food" as people have been telling me. AMAZING SERVICE! Hostess was lovely from the get go and while we waited for a table we sat at the bar. The bartender was exceptionally nice and she gave us a menu to look at. Came here our first night in ABQ cuz they had a great deal of half off flatbread pizzas! The food was pretty good but what put it over the top was our great waitperson Kareem who was so friendly and kept coming back to our table to check in on us with different accents. Hhahahah. We ordered the: Applewood Smoked Brisket Ravioli 3/5: This was an interesting dish to me. Was it a soup or was it a pasta or was it a soupy pasta? The brisket was tender but the ravioli was a bit tough, not pillowy soft. It was eh, so I wouldn't order it again. Calamari 5/5: Good solid calamari. You can only go right or wrong with calamari. What made this nice was the garlic dipping sauce that I also ended up using for my pizza crust. Yum! Smoked Prosciutto + Apple Flatbread 5/5: This was a nice smoky combination that I've never had before. A bit of salty and sweet on the flatbread made this a tasty treat! Pork Belly Flatbread 5/5: Pork belly. Is there more to say? Yummy pork belly on flatbread pizza added just the right of amount of meat so it didn't feel like a super fatty meal. In reality I'd give them a 3.5 but there were a few things that made me bump them down. Pizza was good. The pastas were ok. The toast was nice. The salads were ok. The arugula beet salad was good. The goat cheese and blackberry salad was not great. There was no body to it and it lacked the aforementioned goat cheese and blackberries. Two tiny dollops of goat cheese and then maybe like 6 blackberry halves. I asked for more dressing for my salad and they brought us the dressing, it looked pink so I asked the waiter, is this for my salad, and he said yes. It was not. They later brought out my dressing...which was kind of annoying because I did ask. They also said that they were going to come back with freshly cracked black pepper and then never came around for the salad. Our drinks were empty a lot as well. I've been to M'tucci's Twenty-Five a few times now. I don't eat Italian/pasta so often, but when I'm in the mood, M'tucci's is one of the tops in ABQ in my mind. I like this particular location because it is not in a super crowded place with pedestrians (e.g. Nob Hill) but also hopefully has large enough parking spots for others (although there were plenty of spots in this area with so many restaurants around, there were some challenges finding parking spots near the restaurant for sure). My friend and I had mocktail sodas and shared some dishes. I was glad the person asked if we wanted to split the dish into personal plates and we happily obliged, too..so we didn't have to feel awkward trying to split things as we eat. Also, the service was thoughtful. I wanted some of my leftovers to go and they were so nice about it. Specifically, they didn't just bring the box for me to do the job, they brought a person, a standing plate to do all the tasks of harnessing all my leftovers into the box for me! Not necessary as I could do it myself..but very thoughtful! Overall, I enjoyed the meal. It's not cheap or anything but knowing that the pasta is made in house and not just some packaged thing made me appreciate this restaurant more. I would certainly keep M'tucci's in mind, especially when feeling like eating Italian food in the near future again, too! P.S. definitely make the reservation! I have been here a couple times already...and you kind of need a reservation to make sure you can get a table in the dining room area. Otherwise, you can cross your fingers and hope that there are seats available in the bar area. read more

First thing's first: we were fortunate to have Diego (usually a bartender) as our server, and the guy was just on fire. I never wanted for water or iced tea (I was DD this trip - lucky me) and he made sure to give us time to chat after our drinkls, apps and didn't rush us on taking our orders - but he materialized instantly every time anything was lacking. The folks bringing food from the kitchen were likewise pros. Truly wonderful service - I'm actually thinking of sitting in the bar next time we come for supper, just to have that same experience. 5/5 (Diego should be prized, Management.) I am not a fan of the whole frontage road location, with swarms of hoi polloi gunning around parking lots angling for a good spot so they can get their (mainly chain) grub on. That said, we made reservations (Friday night) and came early. And, once in the door, we forgot we were even in the chain restaurant wasteland. M'Tucci's Twenty-Five has a nice, graciously decorated room, and even a dignified patio area (with pretty potted flowers). Gotta love M'tucci's: each of their outlets has a different feel (and menu) and almost everything is made from-scratch in-house. I think this is my favorite M'Tucci's restaurant (followed by Rio Rancho). We got there when it was quiet and left when it was a full-on, Friday dinner madhouse, and the space was comfortable and not overly loud the entire time. As in, we didn't notice the space at all (other than it was pleasant) as we visited with our friends for over two hours. 4/5 The food . . . ah, therein lies the rub. The main reason you go to a restaurant is for the food, right? Well, my special steak was . . . fine. Between fair and good. Seasoned nicely, cooked pretty much the way I ordered it (a little over) and just not the tenderest. Or least gristly. Frankly, not as good as what I'd expect from even a chain steakhouse. The sides were good. Prices were on the reasonable side. (Others in my party seemed happy with their meals: maybe I ordered wrong.) Desserts and after-dinner drinks were solid and reasonably priced. For me, 3/5 is being kind on food quality - again, I may have to revisit this after my next visit, but it's really what I've come to expect at the various M'Tucci's outlets. So . . . M'Tucci's Twenty-Five is popular (make reservations for busy times). Service is great and it's a nice experience insofar as it's a good place for social hour with friends. Food . . . well, you can't have everything: it's fine. Unfortunately, the food is kind of the point, isn't it? I'll have to give it another shot one of these days. And we'll make a point of sitting wherever Diego is orchestrating the service. read more

You know I haven't been here in a long time. I wanna say the last time I was here was for a Yelp event a couple years ago. The staff is phenomenal. They really take care of ya from the start to finish. Although the menu can feel a bit overwhelming the food speaks for itself. Not to mention the relaxing atmosphere in the dining area. This time around I brought my mother who is from Texas. She was visiting and wanted something different. Again going back to the menu it can be a little an overwhelming at first but if you read the details there's a little something for everyone. My last few go arounds I got the pizza but I got curious when I saw the Chicken Milanese. Reading the description it sounded a lot like a chicken parm. My mother loves chicken parm so we both went ahead and ordered it and of course I had to have some pizza so we got that as well. The Chicken Milanese is by far a beautiful masterpiece. Although I ordered the half, let me tell ya that piece of chicken was huge! I took my first bite and I fell in love with the perfectly crispy crust and the delicious perfectly cooked chicken. Combined with the noodles omg I was in heaven. Of course the pizza did not disappoint either. The crust perfectly crispy and fluffy. The pepperoni was magnificent. Bravo M'tucci's.. bravo! Great Italian date place! I feel like that should say it all. They got a bar, a quiet fire place type area and a general for everybody area; not to mention outside seating for when it's warm enough. Service was stellar. I had to order an item unexpectedly last minute after the last call and they still did it for me. Usually I like to give a well rounded review. Service. Food. Ambiance. Price. Usually I find 1 or 2 things the need improvement, tweaking or attention. I don't usually visit an establishment that gets 5 stars across the board for Service AND Food AND Ambiance AND Price but M'Tucci's deserves all of the stars. On the night we visited the Establishment was super clean and neat and orderly and ready to take on a busy night. The Hostess was attentive and quick to acknowledge us and guide us to our table. Our waitress, Rachel K was super friendly and helpful with the menu, suggestions and attentiveness. I highly recommend starting with a Build Your own Charcuterie board! The meats and cheese and olives were fresh and light and a perfect start to our meal. My Lobster Ravioli was .... I want to say delightful but I don't think that word is strong enough to describe just how delicious it was. Who knew Green Chile would pair so well with Lobster Ravioli? Then again, it's green chile so who am I kidding. What does it NOT pair well with? My husband's Grilled Pork Chop and Polenta was mouth watering! I LOVE a well cooked juicy pork chop and this one was it. And the bread.... My Lord the bread! I didn't realize that they had charged us for our second basket of bread but I don't care. Worth every penny! All of this for less than $100 BEFORE Tip. I thoroughly enjoyed everything about my visit to M'Tucci's and highly recommend you give it a try. read more

With out of state guests we wanted to try a different M'Tucci's so we picked 25; what a disaster. The salmon came in some sort of green sauce, said various veggies, these were like little scrap pieces of various leftovers, told it was a "hash"-no seasonings and weird looking, did not eat this. Then the salted smashed potatoes, someone needs to learn to make these, there was some salt on the outside pieces but they were dried out and bland. The Moderna ones are fabulous. The green beans were very under cooked, not even blanched. hard and again no seasoning at all so hard and tasteless, the hanger steak was burnt.
