Bruschetta with sourdough bread, extra virgin olive oil and aged balsamic vinegar.

I ordered delivery of the family board and added garlic (only two cloves were given), mushrooms (about a teaspoon's worth), red onions (not included), and sun dried tomatoes (also not included). The added veggies were a huge disappointment and a total rip off. The delivery was also about ten minutes late despite my ordering several hours ahead because it was Friday and also the start of balloon fiesta. I wanted to give the team at the restaurant enough time and leeway to complete my order on time. This was not the driver's fault. I was tracking them and they had to wait for the order. With that said, my DoorDasher did not follow the instructions I left, and instead rang my doorbell and waited for me to come get the order, which is not what I requested. The food we did get was good but I'll definitely reconsider ordering from this establishment given my most recent experience.

This is a fun Italian spot by the movie theaters. I liked the Tuscan salad with steak and potatoes. Steak was good the potatoes were a little dry and green beans way too salty. Loved the rosemary bread.

Went twice in a week - once for dinner, back for happy hour. Dinner was the winner largely due to service. Charles L. was fantastic; helped make the meal feel very relaxed, and wow - what a smile! My expectations were set for Italian-American, but even still, the food was just okay. Bread basket appetizer was a let down - not even three full pieces. Pretty cheap of ya, MT25... It's just bread! Fill up the darn basket! Meal portions, on the other hand, were generous. I also appreciate how they allow half portions for those with smaller appetites. Smart service, MT25. The chicken scallopini was crispy without being greasy, so yay, but the accompanying pasta was another miss. I'd read reviews about how the spaghettini is overcooked consistently, so I purposely asked for linguini (thinking a thicker noodle would come out al dente)... Alas. (And mushy noods aside, that "creamy Pecorino" sauce didn't taste like Pecorino to me.) Found myself back there for HH with a friend (her pick). Tried the wild mushroom bruschetta with a seasonal gin and tonic. Wasn't mad at the bruschetta, but I wouldn't order it again because although MT25 got the textures right, the mushrooms were under-seasoned, so the whole dish was just kinda boring. As for the g+t, my glass was 2/3 full, and 1/3 of it was ice. 66% of a $7 drink? Boooooo.

Came to M'tucci's on a Saturday night at 8:30 pm. The restaurant was busy and bustling! It has a very chic vibe, with low lighting and unique wall art/accessories. We were seated and attended to immediately. We ordered the smoked prosciutto + apple flatbread and braised lamb parpadelle. Both dishes arrived at the table very quickly. The dough of the flatbread was very thin, making it almost crunchy. The combination of prosciutto and apple, along with the balsamic, is delicious. I will note that the white mozzarella is gooped onto the dough, so the toppings will move around when eating the pizza. The lamb pappardelle came with peas, which I personally thought to be unique! The lamb was cooked well, very tender. The dish does turn lukewarm pretty quickly, so I recommend eating it fast. I felt that the noodles could've been more al dente; it felt like there was somewhat an inconsistent texture of the pasta with each bite. Regardless, I really enjoyed the flavor profile of the sauce. M'tucci's has a large menu, serving flavorful Italian dishes. I'd love to come back and try some appetizers and eat some more pasta!

Eggplant parmesan and a house salad!

Today was my first time here. I went for lunch with some family from out of town. The items on the lunch menu were small. The items on the dinner menu were quite a bit bigger, or group had some from each menu. It was pretty much a full house I think every table had someone sitting at it. The servers were trying to keep up but I only saw two. Look like the manager was trying to help out. Unfortunately they were understaffed. Had to wait for drink refills. The bread did not come out until most everybody was done eating. My plate did not come out until everyone else was half done eating. I did get the dinner plate though instead of the lunch special. Very nice place I will go back and try their other locations as well. Nothing bad to say, the food was excellent!

I had the lunch half house salad with dressing half spaghettini & meatball. It was good. I had good service. The waitress was so nice. She explained about the lunch menu. I really liked the lunch lemon cookies they were so good you could really taste the lemon. Was my first time eating there.

I don't live in Albuquerque but I come and fly here twice a month. And I absolutely have to come here once or twice while I'm here every visit. The food is outstanding the quality and you have to ask for the server Joseph. He goes above and beyond to make your dining experience so enjoyable he has a lot of knowledge of the food and caters to you.

The most INCREDIBLE meal I've had and it was only $15. I ordered the Eggplant Benedict and it was so delicious. We also ordered the Lemon Ricotta Pancake and Sourdough Bread Pudding French Toast. As always, we had the Fried Brie for an appetizer and it was so good. M'Tucci's is always my go to restaurant and the one I recommend the most.

Following a paleo diet so chose M'tucci's to have some steak, fish, and veggies. The ribeye special came marinated in something... any good steak or cut of meat does not need a marinade or a sauce unless there is something to hide. Ordered zucchini appetizer was alright but tasted of low quality seed oils. Service was average and flavors were below average. There are higher quality Italian restaurants nearby :)

We came on a busy Friday night and were able to grab a spot at the bar. Our bartender Diego was fantastic! He made us great drinks, including the famous espresso martini, which is probably the best one I've ever had, and was very personable while being super busy. We also tried the blackberry walnut old fashioned, and a specialty cocktail on the weekend menu. For dinner we had the hanger steak and a ribeye on the weekend menu. The food was cooked perfectly, and it was an overall excellent meal. For dessert we had the mocha cappuccino cheesecake. The ambiance was fun, and we'll definitely be back!

A friend had heard it was the best in town, and I have to agree! Two large slices of eggplant with crisp breading accompanied by cacio e Pepe pasta and some marinara sauce. The eggplant was well seasoned fried perfectly. The serving was so large that I took half of it home. I also ordered tiramisu which was creamy and delicious. I saw the cannoli and the dulce de leche cheesecake as well- they all looked great. The location has plenty of street parking by it. I walked from the CNM campus and it was only a couple of blocks. Ambiance was cute, looked like exactly what it is in the very best way. I definitely plan on coming back soon...and next time I'll remember to take pictures! Delicious!

We just had dinner here tonight, introducing two family members to the restaurant.... and we had a VERY DISAPPOINTING EXPERIENCE. FOOD: I've appreciated their eggplant parmigiana in the past, a favorite of mine. Not tonight. It wasn't crispy and was served with very little sauce. It is served with a cacio de pepe linguine that was quite DRY. One family member had the lasagna. Presentation was nice but she found the dish lacking. She said it was OK but that she has had better... She's Italian and grew up with homemade lasagna. My partner and our second dinner guest had the spaghetti with meatballs dish. My partner has been a fan of this plate. He found the pasta a bit dry, short of sauce (again). Our dinner guest commented on how DELICIOUS the meatballs were, with which my partner agreed. For dessert we had the crème brûlée and the canelones. The crème brûlée tasted more like a pudding and a custard, and the flavor was very different from what were used to in the crème brûlée... Deficient. As for the cannelloni, the filling was tasty. The crusty wrap was very thick and dry. All in all quite a disappointing meal experience. AMBIENCE: A small comfortable neighborhood restaurant with charm. SERVICE: A big robust personality had our waitress. A bit on the loud side, a bit much on the robustness which felt a bit over bearing at the tableside. She herself was not unpleasant, but her presentation was a bit of nails on the chalkboard. To say the least, it was a disappointing experience tonight and as much as we have enjoyed this place in the past I'm not sure that we would return again. Especially disappointing because we live less than 2 miles away and it really has felt like our neighborhood place.

We waited about 15 minutes before we were approached. She seemed surprised to see us, like no one had told her someone had been seated there. We ordered wine and started reading the menu she brought us. The waitress came back about 15 minutes later. My wife decided on the Chicken Marsala and I ordered the Chicken Parmigiano. You should note that it is about 7:30pm at this point. After another 15 minutes we got our salads. Our waitress was a short, heavy woman with little reach, which may explain why she TOSSED the salad plate at me from the other side of the table! If you are keeping track it is now about 7:45pm. The restaurant closes at 9:00pm, but staff is clearing the tables in our area of the restaurant. By clearing I mean removing the silver wear and salt and pepper. Our area is being shut down. In the main dining room there is light and laughter and patrons eating. We are alone, in the dim corner...forgotten. At 8:15pm I ask one of the staff cleaning our area (sweeping the floor) to find our waitress. She arrives and, once again, seems surprised at our presence. With a brief apology she rushes off to the kitchen to see about our food. A few minutes later she brings our entrees out - yes, I have the Chicken Parm tossed at me from the other side of the table - and we dig in. One problem, mine is really, really hot...not temperature...spicy. We had eaten at Trombino's before. It had been a go to for special occasions - Mother's Day, birthdays, anniversaries - and I always got the Chicken Parmigiano. This was not that. It was eye watering, sinus clearing, spicy. Inedible. I waited for the waitress to come back to see if everything was okay...and waited...and waited. At about 8:45pm she comes by to see if we wanted dessert. I pointed at my full plate and expressed my dissatisfaction with the dish. She immediately got attitude. The kitchen was closed and there was nothing she could do. I asked to speak with the manager. She huffed off. About 5 minutes later she is back saying that they are taking the Chicken Parm off our bill. Damn nice of them. That was our last dinner at Trombino's. A few postscripts... As were were leaving, at just a few minutes before 9:00pm, we see them bringing food out to some guests in the main dining area. I guess the kitchen was still open for them. I checked out the menu online after we got home and I think I figured it out. Either they ran out of regular tomato sauce and substituted, or they made a mistake, but I am pretty sure I got the Fra Diavolo sauce from the Seafood Fra Diavolo instead of the regular tomato sauce.

The first time that my fiance and I went there we had lunch, which was an amazing experience! It was a Wednesday afternoon in late January. Our waitress was the best waitress you can ask for, very attentive and on point, number one... Our salads, the Citrus Braised Beet & Pecan Salad and the Arugula & Spinach Caesar Salad, were amazing, number two... And our lunch, Spaghettini & Chianina Meatballs and Eggplant Parmesan, were amazing, number three. Awesome, right?? Here's the kicker.... My fiance wanted to take me either to Bien Shur or Level 5 for Valentine's Day. I'm a girl and he's trying to be very romantic, which I applaud!!! Those restaurants supposedly have the ambience of a romantic setting with views at sunset. So I poured over the menus and Google reviews from those two restaurants as well as other restaurants that friends have suggested and, after wanting the best quality food for a competitive price (even though price is of no object to him, but I AM an absolute food critic, especially coming from New York City and having eaten at different establishments across the country, so he left the final decision to me), I told him that we should go back to M'Tucci's Twenty-Five... I am Italian and he is Spanish, so I was hoping to introduce his tastebuds to the best Italian cuisine near to what I am accustomed to... So we went to M'Tucci's at 5pm on a Wednesday evening hoping to get the same service as last time... Nada, niente We sat down and I already had an idea of how I wanted the courses to go... but from beginning to end, a different waitress tried to rush us through the entire dinner EVERY STEP of the way as if we were a bother to her even though hardly any other customers were there... It was uncomfortable, so I skipped over the salads and went straight to the Applewood Smoked Portobella Risotto and the Pappardelle Porcini Pasta, figuring they would go greatly hand in hand... As we were waiting, I described to my fiance how Risotto is delicate, delicious, and hard to find on any menu because it cannot be under-cooked nor overcooked... it has to be "al dente," cooked but firm... fluffy and tasty with Porcini mushroom sauce, it will be amazing... Well the only thing firm and amazing about the Risotto at M'Tucci's were the few shavings of fresh mushrooms on top. The rest of the dish, ALL of the rice, was just MUSH!!! Which is NOT what's supposed to happen with any type of Risotto. A heartbreaking disappointment!!!... As for the Pappardelle Porcini Pasta, which was pasta in Porcini Cream Sauce with Pan Seared Chicken, the ONLY thing that was fresh were the cuts of chicken on top of the pasta... ALL of the pasta was just MUSH!!! So neither the rice nor the pasta were al dente. We couldn't finish neither dish. It was disappointing, embarrassing, and pretty much inedible. Next, our entrees were the Five Pork Bolognese and the "Cut of the Day, Hand Cut Steak, Garlic Mashed Potatoes, and Grilled Asparagus." He knows that I LOVE Filet Mignon and that that was exactly what I wanted for Valentine's Day, which was why he was trying to take me to Bien Shur. While we were at M'Tucci's, he joked that the Cut of the Day would be a T-Bone. I laughed and said it better not be. Sure enough, it was a huge T-Bone steak!! Thankfully his Five Pork Bolognese turned out well because I can forgo bad dishes, but the least I want is for him to have a bad dish!!! So my T-Bone was okay, not great by any means... definitely not the Valentine's Day dinner nor experience that I was expecting from a high-end restaurant. The wine wasn't even good. Only the Five Pork Bolognese dish was the redeeming factor that night. Needless to say, we haven't gone back there. Don't get your hopes up, especially for a romantic occasion.
