The best dish I've had ALL YEAR! Green chili and chicken cream pasta!
    Dianna M.

You'd not expect to find food of this caliber at a tiny little mixed venue - BUT - Tulipani Pasta gave us the best dish we've had ALL YEAR! = Green chili and chicken cream pasta. Thank you!

Very nice place, they have a very good menu of pastas per day, the price is pretty good they also have a selection of drinks. We try like 3 different pastas and the best one was the truffle one, also this is the first place when ai try the pesto pasta in marinara sauce and it was good, different but good. The place It's convenient for an afternoon with your family or friends when they all want different things because it's located inside of a very nice food court with a variety of good food. The staff seems very busy and probably that is why the girl who is taking the orders was not so nice but I hope that changes.

This market is super cute and once I saw housemade pasta I knew I was gonna get some. Mushroom truffle pasta was awesome, next time I'm gonna ask them to put some chicken in there and it would be perfection. Service was great, u order and they had u a little button and it goes off when it's ready. Fancy some pasta? They got great options.

The green chile chicken cream pasta was sinfully delicious. They put just the right amount of hatch chilies inside, it was spicy enough to add a kick, but not too spicy to rule out most people enjoying it. The flavors were also quite delightful. The cream sauce wasn't too watery nor was it too thick, perfect consistency, flavor, and texture. We also tried the creamy lemon pasta and that one was not as good. The flavor wasn't bad but I feel like it was missing something to really bring it home. It was just okay. They also make their pasta fresh and sell them in bulk by the pound. The service was friendly and knowledgeable, and you get the ambiance of the sawmill market food court. I would definitely go back for the green chile chicken cream pasta.

3.5 for the truffle and mushroom pasta. Good flavor, but not a lot of mushrooms. Portion size was perfect. Service was good, and the Sawmill is a great spot to grab a casual meal. Love that they have compostable containers... to bad Albuquerque doesn't have commercial compost. Perhaps the Sawmill could switch to reusable plates or bowls.

The first posture is excellent and the dish with green hatch chilies Guess the right kind of spicy and since I'm in New Mexico I ate local ingredients.

I loved the green chile chicken pasta. Loved the spicy kick. The pasta was also cooked al denote - perfection. There was also a good amount of cheese shaved on top. Service: average, not the fastest, not too slow Ambiance: Sawmill is a fun place to walk around, and it was nice and warm enough to eat outside.

This place is located inside Sawmill Market. Service was friendly. I ordered the green chile chicken pasta (When in Rome, right?) I could tell that the pasta was very fresh and the chicken had a nice flavor. Unfortunately, it was SO incredibly spicy (very heavy on the red pepper flakes) that I literally couldn't even finish it, and I really wanted to enjoy my meal. I would go back but would try something else.

The handmade pasta here caught my eye while I was browsing options at Sawmill Market. My husband and I shared the Green Chile Chicken. The chicken was a bit dry, but I loved the sauce. The green chile definitely had a kick. There were several other things I wanted to try, so I would come back again.

Have you ever wanted pasta without that "too full" feeling after? This is the place to fill that pasta fix. They make small batches of the pasta so it is cooked to perfection and the right portion. They then top it off with fresh cheese but feel free to ask for less or none at all. The sauce was light and creamy, with the right amount of seasoning. The chicken also was seasoned right but there wasn't the opportunity to add more to the dish. They are conveniently located as soon as you walk in and there is plenty of seating near by.

At Sawmill I decided on trying Tulipani and got the lemon cream chicken pasta that additionally came with capers. It looked delicious, and the airy shredded parmesan on top was intriguing. What a disappointment. The pasta itself was slightly dry (versus al dente) and the chicken was both tough and dry. With some of the larger chicken pieces they were rubbery in addition to tough. The pasta was counter serve, so of course the chicken was not cooked fresh and had likely been sitting under a heat lamp or in some sort of warmer for some time. I wish I could say the sauce would have saved the pasta had the noodles and chicken not been dry, but it wouldn't have even if those were moist. The sauce was... there. It wasn't memorable either way. I think two stars is a fair assessment. The service was fine, the presentation interesting, and the food not unpalatable. But would I eat there again? No!

I have been buying this pasta when the owner just had a booth at the farmers market. She would always give me ideas as to how to prepare her pasta and it was always fantastic. And now, I can actually experience her food the way it was intended. I am so happy she is now at SawMill market and almost exclusively eat there when I go. I want to try everything, yet I always turn back to get a warm bowl of pasta with homemade sauce. I just can't help myself. Pro-tip - the take and go cafe across from here sells wine by the glass.

Place was awesome. The truffle and mushroom pasta was the perfect size for us to share and tasted delicious. Price was a little high but that's to be expected!

At the end of the meal, we were shocked to see a $44 automatic gratuity added to our bill, for just two people. This was never mentioned by our server. As visitors, we had no idea this was part of "restaurant week," and no one disclosed it when we ordered. That lack of transparency felt deceptive. Service did not justify that kind of tip. We had very little attention from our waitstaff, long stretches without check-ins and minimal engagement. Meanwhile, the table right next to us received constant attention from both the manager and staff. The manager was explaining dishes and making sure they were taken care of, while we were largely ignored. The difference in treatment was obvious. When we questioned the charge, the manager's response was dismissive: "it's on the website." That's not acceptable. If you're adding a mandatory gratuity of that size, it should be clearly communicated at the table--especially to out-of-town guests. We were happy with the food and pricing, but adding a surprise $44 tip without telling us ruined what should have been a special anniversary dinner. We left feeling misled and undervalued. Be aware: ask about automatic gratuity before you order, or you may end up with unexpected charges like we did. We won't be back.

The first time that my fiance and I went there we had lunch, which was an amazing experience! It was a Wednesday afternoon in late January. Our waitress was the best waitress you can ask for, very attentive and on point, number one... Our salads, the Citrus Braised Beet & Pecan Salad and the Arugula & Spinach Caesar Salad, were amazing, number two... And our lunch, Spaghettini & Chianina Meatballs and Eggplant Parmesan, were amazing, number three. Awesome, right?? Here's the kicker.... My fiance wanted to take me either to Bien Shur or Level 5 for Valentine's Day. I'm a girl and he's trying to be very romantic, which I applaud!!! Those restaurants supposedly have the ambience of a romantic setting with views at sunset. So I poured over the menus and Google reviews from those two restaurants as well as other restaurants that friends have suggested and, after wanting the best quality food for a competitive price (even though price is of no object to him, but I AM an absolute food critic, especially coming from New York City and having eaten at different establishments across the country, so he left the final decision to me), I told him that we should go back to M'Tucci's Twenty-Five... I am Italian and he is Spanish, so I was hoping to introduce his tastebuds to the best Italian cuisine near to what I am accustomed to... So we went to M'Tucci's at 5pm on a Wednesday evening hoping to get the same service as last time... Nada, niente We sat down and I already had an idea of how I wanted the courses to go... but from beginning to end, a different waitress tried to rush us through the entire dinner EVERY STEP of the way as if we were a bother to her even though hardly any other customers were there... It was uncomfortable, so I skipped over the salads and went straight to the Applewood Smoked Portobella Risotto and the Pappardelle Porcini Pasta, figuring they would go greatly hand in hand... As we were waiting, I described to my fiance how Risotto is delicate, delicious, and hard to find on any menu because it cannot be under-cooked nor overcooked... it has to be "al dente," cooked but firm... fluffy and tasty with Porcini mushroom sauce, it will be amazing... Well the only thing firm and amazing about the Risotto at M'Tucci's were the few shavings of fresh mushrooms on top. The rest of the dish, ALL of the rice, was just MUSH!!! Which is NOT what's supposed to happen with any type of Risotto. A heartbreaking disappointment!!!... As for the Pappardelle Porcini Pasta, which was pasta in Porcini Cream Sauce with Pan Seared Chicken, the ONLY thing that was fresh were the cuts of chicken on top of the pasta... ALL of the pasta was just MUSH!!! So neither the rice nor the pasta were al dente. We couldn't finish neither dish. It was disappointing, embarrassing, and pretty much inedible. Next, our entrees were the Five Pork Bolognese and the "Cut of the Day, Hand Cut Steak, Garlic Mashed Potatoes, and Grilled Asparagus." He knows that I LOVE Filet Mignon and that that was exactly what I wanted for Valentine's Day, which was why he was trying to take me to Bien Shur. While we were at M'Tucci's, he joked that the Cut of the Day would be a T-Bone. I laughed and said it better not be. Sure enough, it was a huge T-Bone steak!! Thankfully his Five Pork Bolognese turned out well because I can forgo bad dishes, but the least I want is for him to have a bad dish!!! So my T-Bone was okay, not great by any means... definitely not the Valentine's Day dinner nor experience that I was expecting from a high-end restaurant. The wine wasn't even good. Only the Five Pork Bolognese dish was the redeeming factor that night. Needless to say, we haven't gone back there. Don't get your hopes up, especially for a romantic occasion.
