The lounge has a band every Friday and Saturday. Free entertainment and the drinks are priced reasonable.

No waiters, no management available to speak to if you have an issue. Bartender was out right rude.

Let's start with the unbelievable pricing! My husband and I did their Wine and Dine $89 for 2…read morespecial. Which included a 3 course meal for the both of us plus a bottle of wine. We've been to this beautiful restaurant before, but only for special occasions and the special occasion this time was the "dinner special" ;0) The staff is exactly what you expect in an upscale restaurant, professional and attentive. I started with the roasted tomato bisque and it was genuinely delicious. For my main course I had the salmon which was perfectly cooked with an amazing sauce which was paired so well with miso braised lentils. And dessert? A rich chocolate lava cake that was the perfect ending. Chef Myles does not play around with portion size either. No tiny "fancy bites" her everything was generous and every single course was amazing.

I hadn't been to Prairie Star for over 10 years and my husband booked us an anniversary dinner…read more When we arrived it was before sunset and we were seated by a window overlooking the mountains. We had a wonderful view and were seated far enough away from the quincera party that the noise didn't impact us. Our food was great, I enjoyed the calemari and my dish, as did my husband. Our waitress was alright, but admitedly the table next to ours had a waitress that seemed to go above and beyond for her customers and knowledge of the menu. She could have trained other staff. The biggest reason for the downvote was a restroom experience. I waslked into the restroom and noticed the smell was unpleasant and the ADA stall was clogged. I went to the smaller one, but as I sat, I heard gurggling. The toliets backed up as did the drains very quickly. I managed to get out of there as fast as possible, but still got dirty feces waste all over my shoes. I immedately notified the hostess and my husdband asked for the check. Between the time this happend and we walked out the door, the sewage was seeping out the bathrooms with no signs in place and no seeming rush to correct this issue. The smell was overwhemling and I can only assuem that many others noticed. A sewage issue means the kitchen also cannot wash dishes or sanatize properly. The resturant should have notified custumers and the party, while allowing poeple to take their food home. This unfortante incident caused our night to go arry.

**Restaurant Review: A Taste of India, Farmington, New Mexico**…read more Walking into A Taste of India in Farmington, New Mexico, I was immediately struck by the warm and inviting ambiance of the restaurant. The rich aromas wafting through the air hinted at the delightful culinary experience that awaited me. As a walk-in customer, I was greeted promptly and seated without delay. After scanning the menu, I decided to try the Butter Chicken and Coconut Chicken, both served with fluffy rice. The Butter Chicken turned out to be a fantastic choice--its creamy tomato sauce coated the perfectly cooked chicken in the most delicious way. Each bite was a comforting blend of spices that left me wanting more. Equally impressive was the Coconut Chicken. The way the coconut milk melded with flavorful spices created a dish that felt both exotic and comforting. Paired with the rice, it was a satisfying combination that made my taste buds dance. I also couldn't resist ordering the Fresh Garlic Naan, which was freshly baked and had a wonderful garlicky aroma. It was the perfect complement to the rich sauces from the main dishes, making it hard to resist going back for more. My server, Sandy, was a highlight of the experience. He was friendly and attentive, helping me navigate the menu and customize my meal. His recommendations were spot on, and his enthusiasm for the food made my visit even more enjoyable. To my surprise, he treated me to some rice pudding for dessert. It was the ideal sweet ending--creamy and light, perfectly wrapping up my meal. Overall, A Taste of India exceeded my expectations. With its delicious food, inviting atmosphere, and attentive service, it's a gem worth visiting. I left with a satisfied palate and a desire to return soon for another delightful experience.

Used to come here all the time, but after this last experience, I'm done…read more What should've been a simple drink order turned into a rude, hostile interaction with a bartender for no reason, followed by us being refused service and kicked out--after fully cooperating and not causing any issues. Even worse, management couldn't be bothered to come address it in the moment and instead doubled down afterward without hearing both sides. This also wasn't the first issue with that bartender, which makes it pretty clear nothing is being managed the way it should be. At a certain point, it's not a staff problem--it's a leadership problem. Plenty of better places in Rio Rancho that actually know how to treat people.

I love comedy clubs! I enjoy going to a nice venue, seeing a good show with some drinks and food. I…read morewas not disappointed!! Went to see Cristela last night and we started with dinner at the cantina. Since moving here we have been fairly disappointed with the "Mexican" food. You always judge a restaurant on two things - the beans and rice!! The beans were amazing!! The rice was a little wet for my liking but the flavor was great!! Loved the salsa bar and the options there!! Such a nice large basket of chips!! I had heard prior the food was meh. I also heard they improved it so I was looking forward to trying - food was overall very good!! I had a chicken chimichanga and my partner had the fish tacos. He was not too impressed with the fish tacos but said they tasted good. The chimichanga was delicious!! Not over fried or greasy, chicken was moist and flavorful and not too much cheese! It was also huge!!! Lots of chicken!! I ate about a fourth and my partner finished the rest!! The waitress was very prompt and friendly!! She checked on us often and was very helpful! I loved that the tables were very well spread out! Mostly high tops though. Being disabled, high tops can be uncomfortable for my partner so having some low tops was great! The club itself was a different set up then I'm used to but it was great!! We were close to the stage, not too crowded, service was fast!!! I had no problem with the sound, the view, overall a great show!! I did wonder how the people in back could see and how they differentiated premium from GA but my seat was great for GA. Overall - for $150 I had two tickets to a great show, 4 alcoholic drinks, two sodas, full meal and tip! Pretty great price point for a night out!!! THE CONS - I wish they would start the line for the show outside the restaurant before the doors open. We arrived in time to eat and get I to show - about hour and a half early. Half hour into dinner, people started lining up. For a few diners who table was near the line, it made it awkward! Getting to the restroom was slightly difficult with a big line there! Having the line out side the restaurant would be better. May even having a special line for those who eat there, like first spots in line if you have dinner could boost before show dining. At Improv, they have dinner tickets so you get first seats. Higher price point, more sales = happy patrons! The drinks - I also judge on the margarita. They need some work. In the restaurant, the premium was not that great. Barely any flavor and honestly could not tell if there was alcohol. The blended in the show was worse! Strawberry did not have a strawberry flavor, I could taste the alcohol, which you could tell was some cheap wanna be tequila. For a "cantina" you better have some top notch margs!! I will try so thing else next time but the mags were a nah dog!! The seats - like the actual chairs were horrible!! Hard as hell and super uncomfortable!! Both my partner and I were hurting about 30 minutes I to our visit. Overall we really enjoyed it and cannot wait to come back!! We love that it's close to home (we live in Rio Rancho), good food, great comedians, and a beautiful clean casino!! One of the cleanest casinos I have ever seen!! For the price it was absolutely worth the price for a great date night!!!

The burger was dry and bland. The fries were greasy and limp. The iced tea tasted old. The food was flavorless, over priced and not worth eating. I might go back to see the performers, but will never order food. The comedian, Des Bishop, was quite funny.
