Very cool vibes at this bar. Drinks are strong but very good and service is great. A place to hang out and enjoy tropical drinks. Definitely make a reservation and check this place out!!

What a cool speakeasy esque rum bar on Central! While we did not have a reservation, the host was able to sneak us into a table for an hour or so. All of the weight staff were incredibly kind and helpful with the menu. The menu offered a wide range of rum, focused, as well as other spirit focused drinks both my friend and I were delighted with our cocktails in our overall experience. I would certainly recommend this for a fun bar experience on Central Ave!

Great service. Great drinks. Great vibe. Enough said. You'll definitely need to stop by and experience for yourself. (ADA accessible entrance available)

You desend stairs into the cutest little oasis. The menus are a fun newspaper and everything looks like a crisp upscale resort. But honestly the service might be what wins the rum bar the most flowers. Alex was so friendly and fun, knowledgeable and personable. We loved every suggestion, including the salt & vinegar chips that come opened in a "boat" with an umbrella. We will be back! Get a classic daquri. You won't regret it.

Had the jungle bird, which was properly bitter if you're into that. The marikoriko was sweet and fruity, way easy to drink. The Saturn was also wonderfully fruity and easy to drink. I didn't bother with the mai tai because they use kraken instead of an actual funky Caribbean rum, which is wild because they carry Meyers. Probably my biggest critique is to funkify that Mai Tai yo! Float of kraken if you must, but use some Caribbean rum in there! Service was great, atmosphere left room for improvement. Great for a casual few drinks with your meal. Solid spot! Would return again.

The menu was listed as cast of characters/script, which was lots of fun. When you go in the entrance the bar is to the left and is now kinda of a speakeasy. It's dark, nicely done, music playing and fancy cocktails being made. They don't have a huge menu but you can get some appetizers, sandwiches, etc. We had some non traditional nachos which were very good. The service was also very good. When we left the bar, I checked out the restaurant that was to the right when you walked into the front door of the Copper Lounge. It's has a very nice ambiance and it's not dark like the bar was next door. Don't have any other info on it but looked very nice. I would recommend checking these places out if you are looking for something very different from the usual places.

We entered the building from the parking lot side (which there was plenty of parking, not sure how that would be on a busier night). We had already planned on signing up for the membership - the process took maybe 5 minutes to register each person and was fairly easy. The entrance has the registration desk and a hangout area, maybe unused bar area, and I could also see into another room where other events are sometimes held. We walked past the bathrooms where another bar area was located, and the main big room. The ceiling was covered with many pride flags, almost as to cover some of the vents that were emitting a strong current of air throughout the venue. There were plenty of tables with chairs for ample seating. Karaoke was already in full swing, and there were only a few other people participating. I can't remember which program they use, but it's a fairly easy app/website where you create a singer account, look up the song list, and add yourself to the singers queue. If they don't have the song that you want in the song list, you're also able to request for the DJ to eventually add the song if they are able to. The only thing I didn't like about the karaoke set-up were the locations of the tv screens where you'd be reading the lyrics. There are 2 giant tvs on either side of the main room, and maybe because I'm only 5'2", but to me - they seemed like I was looking up quite a bit. There are also smaller tvs behind the main bar. Overall, the SOCH seems to be a fun place to hangout when there are things going on, which they have a LOT of events available for all sorts of people and interests. I'd definitely go back there sometime.

Both gentlemen were standing at the front of the establishment doing absolutely nothing and someone could've run a mop over the floor, but nobody bothered. Just so gross.

I knew after dinner we may wanna grab 1 more drink so I had checked to see if there were any new spots sine the last time we were in town. I hadn't heard of this Teddy Roe's so we grabbed a reservation for the late evening. After getting dropped off by a car we tried to find the entrance. I'm not going to give away the trick to it but it was fun. Once inside we got our spot that we held. I didn't see a drink on their menu that I liked that was rum based, so I asked the kind bartender if they could make me one. I only asked that it be alcohol forward, but that I was good if it was a more fruity drink too. They brought me a concoction that was perfect. It's a real nice place. The ornate ceiling and the beautiful bar added to the regal vibes of the place. I would definite recommend Teddy's; it's one of the best speakeasies in town.

Crispy Brussels sprouts had great flavor but way too much cayenne pepper (which adds nothing but heat) my husband ate them but said he would prefer less heat. I had 2 bites and gave up. Baked brie was amazing I loved the granny Smith apples! My husband loved them too. We also got the hummus duo which has dates on it and I used a date in the brie that was fantastic! I'll ask for that next time! It was the bomb. Hummus duo was good the watermelon radish was beautiful on the plate but gave both hummus a bitter flavor. Shrimp and grits. We live in Alabama currently and this was our least favorite dish of the day. Shrimp were cooked well and so were the grits but there was just something else it needed. Parmesan cheese and some onions maybe. Greek salad delicious. The flash fried chick peas made it. We needed more dressing and the wait staff was prompt and sweet about it. Spicy Lime Ceasar was ok till he requested more dressing then it was amazing. I was afraid of ordering it but the dressing wasn't too spicy . White sangria I had was disappointing it was more of a 1995 wine spritzer than a wine infused with citrus which is the very essence of sangria. It was ok and had I ordered a wine spritzer I would say yummo but I ordered sangria. Pork Belly flat bread was the winner of the night the tomato jam made that dish. I would love more on it next time but we will definitely be ordering that dish again! Yes we had a lot of left over food! But I love sampling a menu and this menu has a lot to offer. We will be back to try 4 or five other things. I look forward to my return.

In a rare turn of events, both kids got the same thing, the Korean chicken bites with the sauce on the side, which was a great decision bc it did have a kick to it. The chicken itself was a bit dry. Both adults also got the pork belly flatbread. I found it a bit unbalanced with too much sauce and not enough other toppings, and the base wasn't as crispy as I prefer. Speaking of crispy, we opted for the appetizer brussel sprouts, and they were a bit chewy and on the not so super crispy side. Service was fine, and glad to have a little break from heavier New Mexican cuisine on this night. Lots of variety on the cocktail and adult beverage menu too.
