Best Margarita I ever had & food was really good, would definitely be back. Margaritas was made with a respasodo was expensive but worth it $20 a piece!! read more

Great drinks and a really fun atmosphere. I love the option for both indoor and outdoor seating and spread out enough for you to enjoy your group. However, the restaurant there is super overpriced. Other than that the drinks are great! read more

Been one of the fortunate ones to have been coming to the Sandia Bar since before they renovated it. However, they just celebrated their 2nd anniversary in the "new" building and it's just the coolest to see them thriving. They keep adding to the atmosphere and bringing in fun things to do. We love the vibe, we love the staff, and we love the drinks. Having a place with such a nice patio AND such a nice indoor space makes coming to the Sandia Bar a different experience every time you go. We've met some great people here, had some fun parties, and long date nights too! Corrales night life got a big upgrade when Sandia Bar re-opened. read more

Closed captioning works. Good service and great food. Friendly environment. Lovely outdoor patio!

The atmosphere at this place is really nice. I'd also like to get to sit outside when the weather is nice. Great looking patio and upper deck. We just had beers and wine so can't comment on the food you can get next door. Took a bit to get the drinks out but the server was very nice! read more

Sandia Bar - Lounges Near Me - Corrales, New Mexico

Stopped in this afternoon with a friend to get information about renting space for a small college graduation party , as we were going to leave to get lunch we decided to walk by the food truck out front and it was a pizza truck ( and I love a good pizza) so we decided to give it a try and stay for a drink. Pizza was really good! We had a high top table in the bar and the atmosphere was nice. Just an overall nice place to hang out with friends! Staff is always friendly and inviting. read more

Sandia Bar has a nice concept, but it feels like the modern industrial design is trying to blend with a Southwestern vibe and doesn't quite fit the character of Corrales. The space is clean and new, but it doesn't have the cozy, local warmth you'd expect in the area. I do appreciate the adults-only policy after 8pm -- it creates a relaxed atmosphere where you can actually talk and unwind without too much noise. The service was fine, and the drink menu has some good options, but overall it felt like something was missing in terms of personality and connection to the community. Not a bad spot, just not quite hitting its full potential yet. I'd give it another try down the road. read more

WOW! The New Sandia Bar is Absolutely Gorgeous The remodel of the Sandia Bar is beyond stunning! I wasn't around for the original, but what they've done with the space is nothing short of beautiful. The cozy fireplaces, pool tables, and rooftop hangout make it a spot that's hard to leave. It's officially our new Sunday go-to! I'm especially excited for the kitchen to open once the back building remodel is complete -- I can only imagine how good it'll be. I do love the food truck option and other restaurants that are available. On top of all that, the customer service is phenomenal. Friendly faces, great vibes, and an incredible atmosphere -- what more could you ask for? Can't wait to come back! read more

Our family called in advance and mentioned we were bringing children. At 7:53pm we were informed that children are not welcome after 8:00pm. No signage was posted to this effect. No apology was offered when I asked why we were informed so close to when we were informed we would be leaving. It also took about 30 minutes to receive drinks for 6 people. read more

We live in Corrales and have watched this place take almost two years to complete. The decor is really nice but I must say I appreciated what one review said and that is "it would be nice if it could have flattered our lovely countryside with more of and NM aesthetic then modern/industrial LA." It's not quite that but I agree and don't want to continue to see Corrales loose it's integrity and charm. Regardless, we waited a long time like 45 minutes for one beer and there wasn't food or a food truck so we left . I wish the newer facilities that have recently opened here in Corrales were more prepared before they open!! read more

New renovated and tastefully decorated! We were in the Corrales area and decided to drop in. They recently reopened so food was not available. They have a beautiful patio space outside and inside has many areas to hang out and gather with a friends. There are two pool tables and the light fixtures are unique throughout the bar. The owner came to our table and introduced himself. He is very excited for the opening and it has been well received by the community. I ordered a Bloody Mary and my husband had a craft beer. It is a full bar and for now, you can bring your own food in. There is a Village Pizza conveniently located across the street. Perfect food to pair with a cold one. We plan to drop in again sometime. read more

I originally reviewed Sandia Bar, or so I thought. Love this place! The drinks are outstanding, a variety of beers and the service with a smile is perfect. It's a great place to relax after a long day or the perfect place to get your afternoon started. Looking forward to cooler weather so I can sit on the rooftop and watch the leaves change. read more

On a beautiful day I stumbled upon this beautiful place. I couldn't resist trying it out and called my husband to join me. The bartender makes a great Manhattan cocktail and I am convinced she can make other delicious drinks but that's my go to. This place has been recently remodeled and they did a fantastic job. They also have an outdoor downstairs and upstairs patio with a great view of the Sandia Mountains. I can't wait to come back with friends!! read more

We frequently stop in for drinks and food from No Competition. We have always had great service and last night was no exception. Missy was our waitress and took really good care of us. We were looking for a nice patio bar to stop in on a beautiful late spring New Mexico evening. We remembered the Sandia Bar so thought we'd stop in. We walked through the inside and didn't see a hostess station or anything so just grabbed a table on the patio which is really nice. Sat for about 10 minutes without seeing a server so finally my husband went into the bar to order. Took another solid 10 minutes for him to return with 2 draft beers. There were apparently 2 waiters working the patio, neither ever stopped at our table. We finally flagged one down to order 2 more drafts which we never received. We ordered a burger and onion rings at the nearby food counter which we received about 15 minutes later and which were really good but we never saw our waiter. Needless to say I'd call the service in the bar terrible. For a Saturday night it was pretty empty, maybe that's why? Would get food to go, definitely won't be a favorite patio spot. read more

Beautiful rooftop view, nice servers, decent tacos. Glad they have a permanent kitchen. My old fashioned was a little pricy but tasty.

Why is this bar so bright? I don't even feel comfortable calling it a bar because it feels more like you are in an upscale living room that picked out all new 'Southwest' decor from West Elm or something equally soulless. I get that bars change with the times but there are plenty of ways to update a dive bar without turning it into whatever this is. Anyways my beer was fine. read more

Well, I went back so I guess it isn't horrible. They are trying. It's not the bar it's the people. Corrales has a chip on its shoulder. Wants to be so trendy. Wow a place you can park your horse! Whiskey Society private event! Sorry, it's still just a dinky, dusty, Fanta Se wanna be. Too many people with too much money, trust fund burnouts and angry locals getting pushed out. Interesting, but kind of like having dinner at your pretentious sister-in-laws house. You don't fit and you're not necessarily welcome. The people. Not the bar. read more

love the place itself. and the first two times I came here were wonderful. the last two times I was ignored by the staff - blatantly. I had to get up and get my check. my glass remained empty while other patrons received refills and were waited on immediately. I was hopeful that this could be a new GOOD hangout spot. The construction came out great and the decor is contemporary Corrales. I had really hoped for a better experience. We arrived late one evening because the hours posted said they were open til 11pm on weekdays. It was very close to 10:30 when we walked in. The one server standing talking to other guests at the bar looked at us but didn't acknowledge us or say anything. We walked around and checked out the whole place where another employee was cleaning. She didn't say anything to us either so we went outside and sat at a table. The owners or managers were sitting at a high top table in front of the bar going over paperwork but didn't acknowledge us either as we walked by. So we waited a while longer before going up and standing in front of the bar for a couple of awkward minutes. Finally, we asked the bartender if we could get a drink or glass of wine to which we were told they had last call at 10:30. Nothing else was said so we left. The first and maybe last visit left a bad taste in my and my out of town friend's mouth. Especially considering there are so many other nice places to hang out in Corrales now. read more

We are proud of our community so we would have like to see more Corrales and less downtown LA. We ordered the first of two rounds, the nice waitress brought the order when she tipped the tray of drinks and ice, liquid and broken glass went everywhere! The eldest of our group was soaked. She was wet and uncomfortable. The thing that surprised us most was is as the waitress apologized, but we were not offered a discount or an offer to clean the clothes of the wet person. Or at least an apology from the manager on duty.... A Classy place with no class! Disappointed, read more

This place is awesome. The inside was beautiful. They had pool tables with stylish couches for seating along with high-top tables. Outside seating was nice and pet friendly. They had rooftop seating. Came on a Sunday evening, not very busy. Waited for 15+ minutes at a table close to the bar, but unfortunately no one greeted us (or even acknowledged us upon entering/leaving). Many servers/bartenders milling about at the bar, looking around, chatting and laughing, etc. I'm sure they had their own sections to tend to, but it wasn't a great look with so many empty tables and so many servers congregating. Big bummer when there are limited cocktail options in North RR/Bernalillo and Corrales. Went across the parking lot to Casa Vieja, where the beer is decent and the patio is relaxing and shaded. We won't be back--but I'm sure they won't miss us! read more

This is an awesome neighborhood bar. It's like Cheers meets the Wild West. That description is a bit on the dramatic side but you get the idea. I've been here many times because of how close it is to my house, but not enough to be considered a regular. There are definitely regulars here. I remember my very first visit many years ago. We stopped by before a dinner at Indigo Crow. We were definitely overdressed and there was a definite sizing up that happened when we walked in. It was a split second, but it was there. Back then it was cash only so we had to drive over to the ATM a little bit away. Flash forward to last night..it was like nothing changed (aesthetically anyway). The football game was on, people were enjoying their time with their groups. The bartender was busy but not rude. They take credit cards now with $10 minimum. There were table tents announcing PBR on Fire and they had local brews on tap. PBR on Fire is exactly how it sounds...PBR and shot of Fireball. Can't go wrong with a beer and a shot. Hubs had 7k IPA. Cold beer and a chill vibe made for a nice night. There are feathered visitors that are common so don't be surprised. It is Corrales after all. read more
