It's a total game-changer if you have kids (or if you're just a competitive adult). It keeps the vibe lively without feeling like a chaotic playground, and it's a great way to kill time while waiting for a table or hanging out after a day on the slopes. The Food We sampled a bit of everything, and for a brand-new kitchen, they are already hitting their stride: The Wings: These were the standout. Crispy skin, juicy interior, and the sauces actually have some personality. Definitely get an order for the table. Roasted Chicken: This is the ultimate comfort dish. It was perfectly seasoned and felt like a high-end home-cooked meal. If you want something hearty but not "pub heavy," this is the move. Tenderloin Sandwich: Wow. The steak was incredibly tender (as promised) and served on a fresh roll that didn't fall apart. It's a massive step up from your standard steak sandwich.

Sometimes, after a day out in VT, you just need a beer. Or a sandwich. Or both. Or many. Snow Republic has got you. They have great sandwiches, beers, FRIES, and super friendly service. I love the open atmosphere, while giving ski cabin. There is a ton of space for everyone to hang out and relax while enjoying the offerings. When I next visit Dover, I will certainly make Snow Republic a stop and visit, for some fantastic fries if nothing else.

Looking for a spot to grab food and a beer this looked to the perfect spot. They are a dog friendly establishment so dog owners can know. Food wise they offered a variety of pizzas, burgers, fries, and other sandwiches. Beer wise was a little disappointing for our visit considering everything on draft was an IPA with a can option of a porter. I enjoy IPAs and know how popular the style is but at least have a couple other options available at all times. Can never go wrong with a light lager or pilsner and even a sour as well. Drink wise I grabbed The Magic Carpet Ride that was a Session IPA at 5% that packed a lot of flavor for the low ABV and my wife even liked it as a non-IPA fan. She grabbed the porter and thought it was alright but nothing memorable and not the best style for warm summer weather at times. Food wise she got their Luigi (grilled chicken sandwich) while I got their OG Chicken Sandwich (fried chicken). Her sandwich was good while mine was tasty yet one side of it tasted burnt and had a slight unpleasant taste to it. The sauce on it was really tasty though. We also split their cheesy bacon fries and they were loaded with bacon and cheese. The biggest knock was the fries themselves were cold from the start. Would likely pass on them next time. The overall vibe of the place was nice, had a rustic cabin woodsy feel to it as you'd expect for rural Vermont. The music being played though was tropical and it was a nice unexpected surprise. They had both inside and outside seating, outside was a little bit of a miss with the road being so close and noise of traffic. We did prefer inside overall. They also had many games you could play, a pool table, shuffleboard, and card/board games too. Overall I would say the food and beers knocked it down by one star but still worth visiting! Great vibes just not our favorite brewery.

The food came out quickly and was delicious, and the service was friendly and efficient. You can tell this is a place that's well run and cares about its customers. But what truly set TC's apart was Lauren, the manager. After our visit, my young son accidentally left behind a backpack that holds a lot of sentimental value to us. Lauren personally took the time to locate it and then mailed it back to us in New Jersey at no charge. That level of thoughtfulness and care is incredibly rare and meant so much to our family. We will absolutely be back anytime we're in the area, and we can't recommend TC's highly enough -- not just for the food, but for the people. This is how you create lifelong customers. Cheap beers and drinks, wings were ok (wings needed to be crispier and have more spicy buffalo sauce, the bbq version was just ok). The chowder was thinner compared to Anchor Seafood down the way, and the tuna nachos were ok (on light puffed rice chips w/ some seaweed salad to the side, mayo or similar across the top could've been better with some yuzu or ponzu sauce instead). Fried pickles were large and great, though, as were the fried cheese and pretzels. The truffle cheese fries were heavy but still needed more cheese and table didn't enjoy it as much. St. Louis Ribs were ok, but the Short Rib Stroganoff and the Lobster Mac N' Cheese were table favorites - and warmed up really well the next day with the generous portion helping balance the cost as it was basically two meals in one. Game and fun bathroom signs in the waiting area upfront. Staffers were busy but definitely worked to satisfy our tables' orders and needs and kept cheery while at it. Very tight seating spaces so make a note if you're on the bigger side, it may not be as comfortable depending on the seat you get. A bit spendier (there's food tax, LWB tax, and town tax...) but no credit card surcharge. Overall I'm giving this a 4 star b/c of the service. Food I've had better, but service was very helpful.

Service was excellent, wonderful selection of beers and my wife had the wine she likes. The inside of the tavern is really cool. It's an older building and they really kept the character. The tavern has all high top tables and a bar. Added bonus; a Porsche Club gathering came in after we arrived, so there was a nice impromptu car show in the parking lot as we walked out.

The only thing keeping Cuzzins from a five star rating in my book is the somewhat limited space. Located in the Mt. Snow main base lodge (or for you ski bums, skier's right as you're zipping down "Canyon"), Cuzzin's has plenty of tables and a nice back bar with bay windows facing towards the mountain. As other reviewers note, however, this place does get packed as the ski day winds down, and with only one entrance where they're checking IDs, we noticed a line starting to form around 4:30pm. Overall, though, it's worth waiting a few minutes to get in here and wind down with your fellow skiers and boarders. Cuzzins has a really nice lived in feel to it that doesn't give off any sense that you're in an "official mountain ski lodge." If you're not in favor of a packed out standing room-only scene, head upstairs to the nearby Station Tap Room for a more relaxing vibe.
