Stopped at 17th street grill. The service here was good. The inside was larger than it looks from outside. Clean and well layed out. The happy hour food was good. Will stop here again

Came again for dinner again, this time for my mother-in-law's birthday. We ordered off the menu this time. They have a lot of fantastic appetizers. Mushroom Bruschetta, Brussel Sprouts, Chicken Wings, Avocado Bruschetta. This time I ordered the House Salad ($11) which has salami, mushrooms, cheese and house dressing. It was really good. Then I got the Roasted Chicken Carbonara ($22), not so great. On paper, this is my favorite pasta - prosciutto, peas, smoked cream sauce. It was not a Carbonara, the cream sauce was watery like they didn't drain the pasta well. Luckily I had filled up on tasty appetizers and the House Salad, so I took most of the pasta home. As leftovers it was slightly better since the sauce had thickened up and I could cut up the prosciutto into bite size pieces. Great service, lovely time with the family. This is a good place if you have a large group.

Hi, Today I went to 17th Street Grill for lunch. This is pretty much a non-descript restaurant in Tustin off 17th and the 55 freeway. There were two of us for lunch. We were seated in a half booth. As my partner sat down in the chair side of the half booth the pad on the chair top fell off! As we attempted to replace the chair the manager came over. We showed him the chair and said, "There are no screws in the seat." Obviously. Then he just rolled his eyes. No apology, nothing. As for the food, We both ordered the Cobb salad. Myself the large version, my partner the small. When the salads came. My salad was in a different type of bowl, but it was very obvious that my portion was actually smaller than the small version which was $4.00 dollars less! It's sad, as the salad was actually pretty good. But it was hard to enjoy it when you know you could have gotten a larger salad for $4.00 less! Before you say they messed the up the two salads, we confirmed mine was the large with the waitress. I hate giving one star reviews! But, in this case I really felt there was no other option. Jim

Secret Menu item Pork Belly Benedict

If you are looking for a local breakfast spot, I got you. You must try the pork belly benedict. A former menu item, this legend has stayed alive in the hearts and minds of regulars who refuse to allow it to fade into obscurity. The service is great, our coffees are kept warm and refilled often. The staff is attentive and friendly. We are never left hanging waiting for creamer, sugar or to go boxes. Food comes out quickly, or within a reasonable amount of time based on how busy they are. While I have remained true to my love, the pork belly Benedict, my husband has ordered most of the breakfast menu, and there have been no complaints so far. The restaurant clean, bright and comfortable. This local spot is a gem. If you are in need of regular breakfast situation, 17th Street Grill would be my first recommendation. Love the food. Love the staff. Truly can't recommend them enough.

    Is this Zito's?

It used to be a Zito's, but changed ownership several years ago. My wife and I went to Zitos recently to have one of their TBGB pizzas and were really disappointed. We definitely prefer the food at 17th!

Smiling, she said, "Let's celebrate with Spanish tapas." So the beautiful day began with milk tea and chocolate before we headed to the newly opened restaurant Fat of the Land for their Mother's Day brunch, conveniently located on North Main Street in Santa Ana. I later found out it was a special Sunday brunch created just for Mother's Day. Thanks to my daughter's reservation, we were seated right away. The menu selection was smaller than usual, probably because of the special brunch menu, but every tapas dish sounded delicious. We ordered the Castelvetrano olives, Galician smoked paprika octopus, French steak tartare, and Basque cheesecake, paired with a Fiero Spritz and Red Sangria. Both the octopus and steak tartare were outstanding. The Galician smoked paprika octopus was tender, flavorful, and carried just the right hint of spice. The French steak tartare was served on crispy toasted bread with cheese sprinkled on top -- a creative and delicious twist on a classic dish. Fat of the Land truly feels like a hidden gem, and I had such a wonderful time celebrating Mother's Day with my daughter there.

The sangria was super delicious, not overly sweet, which we liked. We ordered the arepo plate which was devoured instantly. - good appetizer to start. Next up was the octopus, pork peppers, shrimp and cheesecake. The shrimp tasted fishy and not my favorite. Octopus was good... decent. Mushrooms were fine. Cheesecake was passable. Over the sangria, arepo plate and pork peppers were the best thing of the night. Staff was very friendly, the setting was intimate. Overall good dinner.

The pictures and reviews of the French omelette with caviar and sourdough pancakes sold us! When we arrived, the parking situation was seamless and easy to find a spot. The place isn't big but the aesthetic is clean and simple. You go up to the register to get seated. There was a wait list since this is a cozy spot but they had chairs available outside of the entrance. The time waiting was little longer than promised but not too bad. Once we were called to our table, we had iced water cups on the table with the menus and table settings. We already knew what we wanted - a horchata iced latte and a steak breakfast burrito for me and a black strap molasses iced latte and crispy chicken sando for my bestie. We also got sourdough pancakes and the cinnamon roll to share. The coffee came first then food was pretty quickly after and presentation was beautiful. The breakfast burrito was so delicious. The scrambled eggs in the burrito were cooked perfectly and they had a perfect amount of steak pieces. They brought a strawberry haberno hot sauce for the table and it made it even tastier. I preferred that sauce over the side of green sauce. I then tried a bite of the chicken sando and wow the flavor you get in the bite was also so, so good. We also enjoyed the sourdough pancakes with the crispy edges and the cinnamon roll had the perfect amount of cinnamon! This cinnamon roll had pistachio pieces on top and it wasn't too overwhelming. As for the iced lattes, I preferred my bestie's latte more than the horchata one. The horchata one had a burnt aftertaste. Other than that, food and service was TOP NOTCH! We were greeted and treated with the best hospitality from Alex. Thank you so much! Their menu consist of breakfast, burgers, sandwiches, dinner, Mexican, salads, sides, kids, and beverages. Frisco burger has a beef patty with bacon, lettuce, tomato, American cheese, and 1000 Island dressing, served on grilled Parmesan cheese bread. The burger was decent, it didn't quite blow me away. The ingredients were fresh, and the combination was enjoyable, but I felt it was missing a little something to make it truly memorable. If you're looking for a solid burger experience, it's worth a try, but it may not be my first choice for next time. the burger was decent, it didn't quite blow me away. I would rate the Frisco burger a solid 3 out of 5. It was decent, but I expected a bit more to make it truly stand out. My boyfriend would rate it a 4/5 since it was okay for him. French fries were crispy and well-cooked, with a nice golden-brown color. They had a satisfying crunch on the outside, while remaining fluffy on the inside. I would have appreciated some dipping sauces or seasoning options on the side to enhance them a bit more. I would give the French fries a 3/5. They were decent but didn't quite wow me. Horchata was refreshing and creamy, with a lovely balance of sweetness and cinnamon spice. The texture was smooth, providing a comforting drink that complemented my meal well. I would rate the horchata a 4/5 since I have to mix mine to get the horchata flavor. Carne asada nacho fries were crispy and golden, providing the perfect foundation for all the amazing toppings. Generously layered with tender, seasoned carne asada, each bite was a wonderful blend of savory beef and crunchy fries. The melted cheese added a rich creaminess that brought everything together, while the pico de gallo contributed a refreshing burst of flavor. I love the chop chilies personally. The finishing touches of guacamole and sour cream added just the right amount of creaminess and zest. This is absolutely my favorite meal. My boyfriend and I would rate the carne asada nacho fries a perfect 5/5--an outstanding fusion of flavors and textures. The service was fast & employee is very nice and friendly. The store has a great atmosphere, spacious, and clean. There is plenty of parking. I'm only giving it a 4 because of the burger. I would definitely come back here to try their other food alternatives.
