1. They recently switched to using Chowbus as the checkout system, a platform know as breaching customer info and not taking responsibility. It makes me feel uncomfortable for using this system to handle my credit card info. Not only is this insecure, but also makes transactions ineligible for earning SkyMiles. 2. They limit the credit card to one per table. Any restaurants enforcing this kind of limit will have two stars deducted automatically. 3. There service quality is unstable and highly depends on the waiters / waitresses on duty. Sometimes we received superb service while other times it was painfully slow. 4. The food is hit or miss. The chicken noodle soup is tasty, while the ribs are dry and way too salty. read more

It was really just ok, I'm actually quite surprised at all of the really good reviews. Came here on a Tuesday at 5:30pm for dinner, huge restaurant but completely empty. I believe they just opened, and it kind of looked like it with boxes laying around, empty bar set up, etc.. They check your covid vax before seating you. There was one gal who was working, she was a little awkward. She spoke verrrry softly that we can barely hear her. She was also wearing sweats which was a little weird. She seemed like the owners daughter who was forced to wait on tables but would rather do something else. Anyway, on to the more important part the food. Which came out surprisingly very quick (within like 15 mins of ordering) which makes me question how pre-prepared they were. Here's what we ordered: Chicken noodle soup: There are actually two types (both labeled chicken noodle soup so you have to ask the difference). We got the creamier kind. It was good..taste like chicken noodle soup. Spicy beef shank: Slightly spicy, really dry Spicy wontons: Slightly spicy, barely any meat but lots of wrapping. Also very salty. Skip this and just go to dough zone down the street. Ground pork noodles: Noodles were a nice consistency..also quite salty. Smoked Bresse Chicken: Chicken barely had any meat on it, so you're basically dipping bone into a garlic sauce. You can taste the smoked part of the chicken. Overall food was meh. Maybe there were other things we should have gotten on the menu instead. read more

First time here today with my wife, friendly service and the food came out quick! We drove all the way from Marysville to try this place and was not disappointed. The server even got my wife a refill of hot water with a lemon slice without us asking! Now that's good service. There are a lot of things I like about 151 days. I think it's cool how the name is based on the number of days it takes for their chickens to mature. I like how chickens appear everywhere on their tableware (even if a lot of it is chipped). I also like how creative some of their chicken dishes are (I tried their mushroom cream chicken and love the weird combination of cream sauce, fried rice, and chicken). However, there are two glaring issues with 151 days which were consistent between my two visits: 1) lukewarm food 2) poor service Lukewarm food - when your chicken noodle soup is your signature dish and the majority of your customers order it, there's really no excuse for the soup to be this cold. It's a shame because the flavor of the broth is actually quite nice, and it does seem like they rush this dish out when it's ordered. Poor service - imagine getting a meal here with someone and their noodle soup comes out lightning quick along with your beef appetizer. Okay no big deal; I'll just eat this beef appetizer while I wait. A half hour passes, and you still have not received your dish. Lukewarm chicken noodle soup has been served to several parties who sat down after you. Your waitress comes by and asks if everything's okay, not realizing that one of the two people sitting at the table has not received their order at all while the other is basically done eating. You mention that you're still waiting on your dish. Another five to ten minutes pass, and you talk to the one other person working front of house about your missing order. Finally between the forty to forty five minute mark, you finally receive your dish. Afterwards, the check finally comes, and there's no discount at all. Throughout this entire process, no one stopped by to give you some sort of "sorry for the long wait" side dish or even refill your water which was empty towards the end of the long wait. The explanation that you get for the long wait is that the two chefs in the kitchen were busy and have forgotten orders in the past. Yikes. I honestly considered giving 151 days two stars because Yelp's description for that rating is "Could've been better" which sums about my feelings about the restaurant. Please do better 151 days. I would like to see this place succeed, but my latest experience was a failure on multiple fronts. read more

After seeing so many 4-5 star reviews about this place, my wife and I decided to give it a try for lunch. To be honest, it wasn't bad, but I wouldn't say it was amazingly good especially for what you pay for. We shared the spicy wonton and both had the chicken noodle soup. The spicy wonton was good and the broth in the soup had a good flavor, but nothing special. They really could've added more shredded chicken to the chicken noodle soup seeing that this restaurant is all about the chicken. It was really not a lot, which was super disappointing. Not sure we'd go back unless they are more generous with the amount of chicken. read more

Been there twice this week. The Chicken Noodle soup is fantastic. The Honey Walnut Shrimp is not what you expect. They are huge and not breaded. The bread with eggplant spread is really good. The first experience the server was wonderful. Today I think we got the "angry girl" that some others had described in other reviews. I'd never heard of Bresse chickens before, but I'm a sucker for any sort of rich bone broth with noodles. The Bresse chicken used here apparently are sourced from Arlington. I, of course, ordered the Bresse chicken noodle soup with hand pulled noodles. My husband got the steak tagine. We also shared a plate of chicken potstickers. For dessert, we ordered the fried millet dough with red bean, and the miller cake with rose syrup. My suggestion is to stick with the chicken based dishes. My noodle soup was very good. Broth was nice and rich, on the plain side so you could really taste the chicken essence (?). It had very little actual chicken in it. The hand pulled noodles were not bad and I could've done without the hard boiled egg with a dry and crumbly yolk. The potstickers were also very good. It had a unique and richer flavor from the chicken. The steak tagine (not really steak but short rib) was just so so and comparable to chow mein. The desserts were a pass. Both were pretty bland. We also tried the seaberry juice. It was tart and just slightly sweet. Not sure if the broth is $15 good, but it is good. I can see it becoming a rainy-day go-to. read more

So the menu online and the one shown here on Yelp was very different from the menu at the restaurant. The online menu shows mostly Szechuan dishes but what we found at the restaurant was mostly Taiwanese and Hakka dishes. That being said, we ordered a ton of different dishes and they were all wonderful. Get anything crispy like the cod or the shrimp. The pork burgers are not quite as good as Facing East's but pretty close. The string beans and the pork stew over rice were great too. We had a few of the soups - because it is supposed to be a chicken soup restaurant - but didn't find them very flavorful or exciting. Also, they didn't have any drink options besides water and coke products. That was disappointing, but the food was so good that I didn't end up caring. read more

Really loved the cute interior and the delicious broth! We got the seaberry juice, wonton soup, and noodle soup. The seaberry juice was a bit tart, but still refreshing. The wonton soup was my favorite here, since the soup was the most flavorful and had a nice salty kick. Wontons we're soft and melt in your mouth. The noodle soup was delicious too (the handmade noodles were really tasty), but the broth was less flavorful than the wonton soup. The Bresse (pronounced "bress") chicken is a highly prized, rare, and revered bird. Its genetic lineage allows them to metabolize their food in a special way that which helps to create a luxurious flavor through its meat, fat, and growth pattern. Our chickens, hand-raised in Arlington, Washington are termed Arlington Bresse chicken. They are beautiful birds, typically with white feathers, though their plume may sometimes be blue, splash, grey, or black in color. Another differentiating characteristic is their blue-colored clean legs. Here, they are free-range and raised in ideal living conditions provided by proper heating equipment and abundant activity space for each individual chicken. They are raised to a prime age of 150 days when the chicken has properly matured. We hope you enjoy the unique and delicate taste of the Arlington Bresse chicken, served alongside fresh local produce. The two come hand in hand to form harmonious dishes that we can appreciate, in turn enhancing our everlasting relationship with food.

Bon is located in the same plaza as H-Mart and so they have a shared parking lot or you could walk over from Redmond Town Center which is just a block away. The inside is surprisingly large with at least twenty tables, which is bigger than most Korean restaurants that I've seen on the Eastside. At 11:45am on a Saturday, my group of three had no problem getting a table. Their menu is extensive and has all the Korean food classics including seafood pancake, soondubu (stone pot tofu soup), galbi jjim (beef stew), Toppokki, bibimbap, and cold noodles (spicy and non-spicy versions). Their entrees are around $20 each, but some larger hot pot dishes (meant for 2-3 people) can be up to $70. I ordered the BULGOGI BIBIMBAP (~$24). Unfortunately they don't serve stone pot Bibimbap here, but the portions are large and beautifully presented. My dish came with plenty of fresh vegetables- pickled carrots and cucumbers, sesame bean sprouts, daikon kimchi, lettuce, and marinated black mushrooms (which I've never had in Bibimbap before but was soooo good) on top a bed of fluffy white rice! The egg was cooked perfectly over easy and the meat was marinated well too- I do wish the dish came with more meat though. They give you your typical sweet and spicy gochujang red sauce on the side as well as white vinegar and mustard sauce for added flavor. Service was fantastic and you get complimentary hot tea and ban chan (which are refillable). The ban chan included cucumber kimchi, daikon kimchi, sesame bean sprouts, kimchi, fish cake, and sesame choy. All employees were very friendly and made you feel at home. The inside is clean, but the only reason I'm giving them 4 stars is that they have an Okay health rating and not a Good or Excellent health rating. I didn't look up the exact violations, but it would be great to see an improvement in score. Overall: 4/5 for food, 5/5 for service, 3/5 for atmosphere

If you've been to their first Seattle location in Cap Hill, this location resembles that one in many ways, though this one in Redmond is noticeably much bigger and has more seating that isn't squished together. There's bar seating and a bigger number of four-tops compared to the Cap Hill location, though the wooden wall scheme is the same for both. They serve katsu here with many types of meat cuts, all of which are listed on their menu with descriptions. Service overall was fast and efficient even when tables around us started filling up with hungry patrons. For our food: - The K&O karaage was all right at best. Meat inside is very tender and juicy but the aromatic toasted powder has so much salty flavor - and outer coating was also so dry - that my friend and I needed to drink water constantly while eating it. We could have skipped getting this. - We each got their jidori chicken oroshi katsu. This comes with their jidori chicken, essentially high-quality free-range chicken breast cutlet... and it was very juicy, with the Panko coating being the right kind of crunchy in all areas. We weren't fans of the grated radish sitting on top of all that katsu though, and most of the dish was their shredded cabbage as usual. The cabbage goes really well with their peanut sauce provided at our table. We both left feeling really full and overstuffed in a good way, though I would pass on getting the karaage if you're already getting one of their katsu dishes. Distance- and seating- wise, I'd come back here for their katsu whenever I don't feel like dealing with the parking situation that is Cap Hill.

This was on a Friday at 6pm and we came to a very empty parking lot until you try parking closer to the many businesses located along the Bella Bottega Shopping Center where this gem is located. Inside is very casual with a ton of tables that can seat various group sizes, and my friend and I got a seat closest to the register. Menu has typical items for a Vietnamese restaurant like pho, banh mi sandwiches, bun, rice dishes and vegetarian options. There was actually a lot of stuff so I was slightly overwhelmed. I got their large phở tái bò viên, which is pho with medium rare beef and meatballs. Note that there is only a $1 difference before tax between the medium- and large-size pho, and I saw the medium bowls being much smaller than the large one I got, so it's worth getting the larger one! Broth is warm, aromatic and comforting with the right amount of everything, and the meats inside gave it more depth. The noodles kept together easily in my bowl and did not break apart easily when picking them up with my chopsticks. I also asked for extra beef, which is $4 more; this was put inside my pho instead of being served raw on a separate plate like i've seen in other Vietnamese restaurants. My friend got their Yummy Noodles house special bun with chicken, and he loved it a lot! It was served in the same bowl size as the large pho I got, hence he couldn't finish what was in front of him entirely. Awesome food here, annd an awesome place that had a ton of people throughout our one-hour time here!

Located in Redmond, WA, the Third Place is a full-service Korean restaurant with a full menu of…read moreKorean favorites, known for their Korean Fried Chicken (KFC). Our family took advantage of the chicken's ability to maintain their crispiness, even for carry-out. It was OK, though a little confusing. Once we settled on KFC for dinner, our hosts (daughter and son-in-law) suggested carryout from 'The Third Place', which was a little out of the way from where we were. It is the Third restaurant opened by the owner, all Seattle area locations known for her KFC (Shin Sung Korean restaurant with Underground Kitchen and the since closed Yeon's Chicken). The chicken was ordered beforehand, and because it is prepared fresh when ordered, it took a bit of time for the order to be complete. There is a limited amount of sauce choices, so we chose Honey Garlic ($23.99) and the classic Yangnyum ($23.99), both marked as Whole Chicken size. Also a side order of french fries ($7.99) completed the order. The fries were good: nice and hot, heavily battered potatoes, providing a nice amount of carbs to go with the fried chicken. The chicken came with pickled radish (chicken-mu) which for me is a must, and it was good. In terms of the chicken, they were all wings, which isn't what I expected: getting the breast and thigh pieces chopped into bite-size pieces, battered and sauced, is what makes it KFC, vs all wings which is more like a Buffalo wing restaurant. So we still got the expected 14 pieces, but they were all wings (flats and drums). I thought the sauces were fine (intentionally ordered mild), and the chicken did maintain a crunch (though not as shattering as the best we've had).

Are there places where you always order the same items every time you go? At The Third Place, I…read morealways order Honey Garlic Chicken (Korean Fried Chicken) and Creamy Rice Cake (Tteokbokki). This is my favorite place to get Korean Fried Chicken, specifically the Honey Garlic Chicken. The chicken is always fried to perfection and maintains its crispness even while it's covered with sauce and surviving the drive home (takeout). Honey Garlic is my favorite flavor, but Yangnum is good as well. The Creamy Rice Cake is not your typical spicy, red Teokkbokki (although they do also have that). It's like they put rice cake in alfredo sauce with slices of fish cake and onions. The texture of the rice cake is superb! So tender and chewy. I order takeout via their website and food has always been ready by the specified time. There are street parking and lots available, but at times can be a pain to find an available spot.

We knew we were in for something special. Here's what made our meal stand out. The cucumber salad. So simple it's so addictively good. The balance of vinegar and sesame oil was spot on creating a light refreshing dish that perfectly complimented the bold flavors to come. The beef noodle soup was rich, savory and deeply satisfying. The broth was perfectly seasoned. The beef was melt in your mouth tender, and it was topped off with a whole soy sauce, egg that soaked up all the umami goodness The traditional Chinese donuts were crispy, golden dreams, covered with sugar. They were the perfect mix of crunchy and airy, making for an ideal sweet treat to balance out the meal. The Mapo tofu was fiery, bold and packed with flavor the soft tofu soaked up the spicy umami packed sauce, creating a dish that's both comforting and exciting. The Szechuan fried chicken was crispy spicy with crushed up pieces of Szechuan peppercorn. Everybody had the perfect crunch followed by that signature is Szechuan pepper tingle that keeps you coming back for more. The dumplings were perfectly crafted pockets of deliciousness! The filling was juicy and well seasoned while the dumplings rappers had just the right amount of chew. I must say that the Mongolian beef was the star of the meal hands down the best I've ever had! The beef was incredibly tender. The sauce was rich and flavorful, and the balance of Sweet n Savory was absolutely perfect. I would come back just for this dish alone! The service was top-notch. My hot tea was always topped off without having to ask, and the server was attentive, knowledgeable, and eager to help with recommendations. Unfortunately, our recent visit to 151 Days was a huge disappointment. We've dined here before and had much better experiences, which made this visit even more frustrating. The food quality has noticeably declined. The mapo tofu arrived cold, and when we asked if it could be heated up, the request was refused. A dish that is meant to be served hot should never reach the table cold in the first place. The beef lacked seasoning and flavor, tasting bland and uninspired. The crispy pork was equally disappointing the meat was tough, chewy, and lacked the crispy texture and flavor we expected. What concerns us most is how different everything tasted compared to previous visits. It honestly made us wonder if the chef has changed, if recipes have been altered, or if the restaurant has become too busy to maintain the same standards and attention to detail. Whatever the reason, the quality was simply not what it used to be. Dining out is becoming increasingly expensive, and customers expect food that reflects the prices they are paying. Sadly, this meal did not. We left feeling that the money we spent was not justified by the quality of the food or the overall experience. We sincerely hope 151 Days takes customer feedback seriously and returns to the level of quality that originally earned our support. Right now, based on this experience, we would not be eager to return. This version expresses disappointment strongly while avoiding accusations you can't verify, such as definitively claiming the chef changed. read more

My partner and I always try to eat somewhere new on Sundays. After some research, I found 151 Days website. They had Creamy Mushroom Soup with a baked pastry top for $12.75 and Braised Pork Belly for $8.75. With the recently opened Bellevue Link line, we took the train up to the Overlake station. Once we arrived to the location we were promptly seated. Since it was our first time there, we were a little confused by the cooking burners at the table. Once several visit from the wait staff, we finally got our answer. I asked for the Creamy Mushroom Soup and was told they don't offer it. Nor do they Braised Pork Belly for $8.75. I ended up ordering the Crispy Chicken Bento box, Braised Pork Belly with steam pastry and my partner order the Crispy Chicken plate. My bento box came out early so I had to sit and wait for my partners food to come. The food itself was low quality and by the time his food came our, my food was warm. The chicken was tough and fatty. The pork belly was alright but was extra-extra fatty. When the check came, I was shocked that they charged $26 for the Braised Pork Belly. In total it was $90 with tip. read more

Their food is quality good food. I know the owner of the restaurant and he owns a farm with really expensive strong chickens, where some of the food comes from. Their food is all handmade by the owner and his family and they work really hard to manage their restaurant. There is a bit of a wait but overall in good time. Good food does take time. The drinks are sweet and a bit tangy, and the food is a good portion. Will definitely come back. read more

I just noticed this chicken soup spot next to the Korean Hotpot buffet under my apartment. They are still at soft opening, so it takes a little while to have all the dishes out. Tastewise, my girlfriend and I really like their tureen chicken soup and chicken broth dumplings. Many of their dishes are related to chicken broth. So if you are a fan of broth and like Chinese food, you should definitely go check it out. read more

The business says they have outdoor seating, but when I asked, they said no. It was supposed to be a dog friendly outdoor seating location, but they said their staff are too busy to run back and forth inside and outside. If so, then take the outdoor seating tag off your place since it scammed us here from Seattle because of this description. Or maybe the workers are just lazy? read more

read more

I just got lucky with the side street parking but anyone who comes here on a whim, and on an empty stomach could find it VERY difficult. Review for the food would be....... I got the signature spicy beef noodle and a side of slow braised Taiwanese pork. The meat chunks in the noodles were hefty, they did not hold back. But I will say, the taste of the actual soup itself was underwhelming. There was some flavor missing in the dish. So I would rate the spicy beef noodle 3/5 stars. The slow braised pork was amazing. Best I've ever had... 5/5 stars. Then also had another order of Peanut Butter sauced noodles... which was a 3.5/5 stars... The service and such would be it's almost all self serve, it's very fast and easy. Kiosk + Cleaning up after yourself.

Maybe it was just an off day, but I generally prefer Facing East's menu where this tends to be more geared towards lunch specials and felt that the quality of the food was also just higher overall. We went around 12 PM on a Saturday and there were plenty of seats available. You order at the register before grabbing a number where the food is brought to you. Popcorn Chicken (4/5): Size is a little small, but the crust is crunchy and the chicken was moist and tender. Exactly what you're looking for in this dish. Classic Taiwanese Pork Burger (3.5/5): Super peanut forward in their version, which is tasty! Unfortunately, the pork belly felt like it'd been sitting for a little bit, so it wasn't quite the melt in your mouth texture I'd been craving. For some reason, the og Facing East version just hits a bit harder. Minced Pork Bento (2.5/5): The minced pork was sitting in an insane amount of oil and just wasn't what you want to see in this dish. Just not the most pleasant Eggplant (3/5): I liked that they warmed this up when I grabbed it from the deli section, but it was also sitting in a pool of grease. Omelette Sesame Flatbread (4.25/5): This ended up being my favorite dish by far and the only item I'd come back for. The sesame flat bread is flakey with a good crisp on the outside and the pork floss inside adds a good amount of savoriness against the fluffy eggs.
